For beginners, I highly recommend plucking as you draw your brow. Draw a few light strokes with a pencil to start figuring out what shape you like, then you can pluck/shave off a few hairs you know for sure you don’t want. Keep alternating between drawing a few strokes and shaving/plucking. When I first started learning how to shave/pluck, I constantly shaved the wrong parts and removed more hairs than I wanted.

As a general rule, step back every minute or so, because when you’re really dialed in on the small details, it’s easy to lose track of how much you’ve done. The overplucked look is hard to conceal and if you fall into that trap too often hair will literally just stop growing and you’ll end up with permanently skinny brows. So it’s smart when you’re a rookie to switch back and forth between eyes and only take off a little at a time so you’re not constantly chasing evenness and so you don’t step back all at once and go “oh my god what did I do?”

Bcoz of covid 19, I managed to pluck the brows with threads. I know it hurts a little bit first, you can't do very much bcoz of hurting your finger. Now, I am a pro beginner, I can do upperlip, eyebrows very finely!! Thank you for this video!! Bcoz, some points that I don't know...

i used to hate shaving my eyebrows because when they are half growing out, its so dam hard to glue them down with gluesticks for cosplay. so i gave up altogether, but i suppose natural brows colored with concealer and eyeshadow can be quite nice.
How do you deal with uneven eyebrows? My left is slightly higher than my right but my left brow bone is slightly under my brow whereas my brow lies right on top of my right brow bone

@@areum121 Yes. They really weren't bad. Asians have a very different perspective about what is "hairy" considering they have very little body hair and sparse eyebrows. They weren't bushy at all. Lol.

if only i could see your brows and help you haha i say if you’re ok with the general shape of your current brows, keep its shape and just remove some excess in the monobrow area + your eyelids, then use products like pencil and brow gel/wax to tidy them!

Mine are a bit odd, I keep them in a style I haven’t seen others do and can’t find a name for it (they’re very small almost like dots near the inner corners of my brow and I keep them plucked this way) is this a style or am I just a weirdo lol for context think of those old kabuki masks that have dots for brows, only mine do flare out a bit like a normal brow just very small
Tbh having a thick eyebrow is a blessing but it's also complicated most especially if you don't know how to groom them. 😫

I have different brow shapes on both sides and it's such a headache. Left side has the straight brow and right side is much higher and has an arch.

this is great! but i'm so sad the front of my brows are really sparse..it's easy to overdo them with a pencil/powder
maybe try using a lighter powder for that area instead of a dark gel/pomade? yeah when you overdo that area it makes you look angry haha
