- This golf course is quickly becoming one of my favorite golf courses in the area and it's wild that no one is talking about it as much as they should be. Charlotte National is definitely one of the biggest hidden gem courses I've ever played!

Played there once and liked it. Played in early spring a couple of years ago. You have three great courses within ten minutes of each other: Charlotte National, Emerald Lake, and The Divide.
Absolutely on Emerald and CN, The Divide I think is too expensive for what it is; especially with their range ONLY being the trackman bays. Can't hit out there before a round for less than $20

Oh you got it my man! Be careful of going long on some approach shots, the greens fall off out of eyesight on most holes
@@PerfectlyAverageGolf 88 today. No pregame warmup killed my first two holes. Settled in after that and played well with some awesome older heads

If you’re looking for a hidden gem just over an hour northwest of Charlotte try Silver Creek Golf Club in Morganton. Very fun mountain course.

Try another hidden gem....Siler City Country Club, Siler City NC. M-Thur is $35. Afternoons are usually wide open. They just spent $$ revamping the greens last summer. Great course, beautiful layout.

Should try eagle chase. You will be shocked by the elevation change for the area. It’s in marshville.

It's quickly becoming mine as well. Unique enough layout to have you playing with just about every club in the bag as well which is rare these days
If you haven't been to The Revival Golf Course At The Crescent in Salisbury, NC, you're missing out.
15 years ago it was my favorite course but the quality began declining. In the past few years it’s come back to life. Hence “the revival.”

Played there a few times. Found the conditions to be very hit or miss
Yeah some holes definitely are susceptible to being rough but overall for the price I think this is one of the better cheap options in the area no doubt
Have played CN many times, and it is always interesting how different these courses look on your videos, conditions can be a little up and down there, but it is a solid track, your wedge play needs some tuning

Great course and has some really difficult holes on it and is long.
The par 5s are by far the trickiest holes it feels like. That and the LONG par 4 18th
@@PerfectlyAverageGolf 18 is a tough hole for sure. Hole 5 is tough as well and requires a precise drive.

YMCA River Bend is a true Hidden Gem, way out in Cleveland County! It's an outstanding course and great value, especially during the week.
