I've been on the Olympia Peninsula a dozen times and I always love that Pacific Northwest area. U think one of the best camping spots for me was up the long dirt road on ride on the river that's upstream from Lake Quinault. Its so beautiful. Loved your video, it reminded me of so many of my own road trips. Get making more. Love following your channel.
The whale watch was pricey but the camping by the river sure was a deal. Glad you were able to catch a break on that. Beautiful stuff you showed us in this video. I'd give it a 9.67 out of ten. Which makes your video even better than whale watching, I guess😁
After staying there, what would you say would be the biggest rig the area could accommodate? We have a 40'DP, I'm thinking we may be too long. It does look like a beautiful and peaceful spot!!
The boondocking spot? It's one big open space so depending how many other people are there, you would have no problem fitting a big rig. The bigger concern would be turning around if there are many other people staying there.
@@WorkinfortheWild yea, sorry for the confusion, but yes at the Boondocking spot. We would probably unhook the tow to turn around if needed. Thanks for the reply Brenda and I enjoy your videos, keep traveling and exploring!!
We leave them in the camper! As long as it’s not too hot or we have AC they’re fine for a few hours in there. They know it’s their home, just like when we lived in an actual house. Sometimes we’ll bring them with us if we’re just doing a drive through a National park and not getting out to hike.
I camped in the Ho River valley when I was a teenager. Absolutely gorgeous place!
Thanks for the tour today. I look forward to your videos. You do such a amazing job.
We just spent 12 days in the Olympic peninsula and Seattle in June 2022. Loved it - this episode reminded me of it. Great episode.
Great Job...Love the Vids....that coffee cake Cole had looked delicious...keep up the awesome job!
Great job on the video! Waiting for more!
Really beautiful!
Really enjoy these trips I get to go on with you guys! Lots to see...thanks!
Thanks so much for watching!
Loved it all. The river. Rainforest. Whale watching. Personally I thought the whale watching was reasonably priced.
It was all so beautiful. I felt the whale watching price was also pretty reasonable

What do you do with your doggo’s while in the NP?
