I’m from Washington and it ain’t 60 miles from Seattle. I’d say more like 120-150 miles and with traffic and two lane roads, it’s easily 3-4 hours from Seattle.
Yes it actually is. What part were you coming from and which part did you go? Olympic national Park spans across a HUGE area. You can reach parts of it within an hour drive of every area on the coast
Thank You! This video was really helpful for planning our trip to Olympic National Park next month. I like how you mention shorter hikes which is good for family with young kids like me.
5:38 i walked on the beach to hole in the wall at high tide (i only had a few days in WA so i couldnt fit a better time into my schedule) and i got absolutely railed by some sneaker waves, i got soaked. Im just glad i didnt get a concussion from being slammed into a tree lol. Good times

It takes about 2 hours, just did it last week
It probably depends on if you take the ferry to the peninsula or drive all the way around
@@anakitasmiles3261 This is true. Depends on too how crowded the ferries are and with traffic as well.

Very informative video. Thank you
Great job hitting the highlights! Thank you.
Skip the traffic and skip the Hoh Rainforest. If you want to see rainforesty areas, go to Lake Crescent.
I agree. I honestly prefer the Lake Crescent/Marymere area to the Hoh rainforest. I feel like it’s a better version of the same type of scenery.
I love the Hoh Rainforest ❤
