      @@TheGoldenDrive I had a 996 turbo stick & now a 997.1 turbo with Tiptronic. I do like the 997 the most too.

I have a 997.1 tip turbo as well. Don't let people crap on the tip. Yeah I sometimes miss rowing gears but that transmission is very good and can take punishment as well as help you maintain still-to-this-day incredible acceleration.@@tomburns890

Depends on the person. I love mine. In the U.S they came w 480hp. Had the 991 turbo and went back to my 997 turbo techart. This car is a drivers car. It's analog. It's not all electric steering and you feel every bit of the car.

Literally probably the best all round Porsche 911 out there...hence the price. Speed, looks, feel, pedigree, classic design but with modern reliability. I mean people put 200k miles on these. That's ridiculous for a performance car with 480hp and a 0-60 time sub 4 sec. Ferrari's with 30k miles are considered high mileage. Genuinely, as a car enthusiast, this car blows my mind.
Worth mentioning that whilst this car is expensive it still costs the same as a base Carrera 993. Could be considered a bargain still.

Dream garage is a 997 Turbo hopped-up by Protomotive and a 997 GT3 RS by Sharkwerks. Nothing more needed.

I’m one of those who changed a 2014 991.1 turbo S to a 2011 997.2 Turbo S. For me is all about the driving dynamics and the feelings than the newest tech.

The wheels are fire on it. The 997 turbo manual is got more desirable because of the transmisson and lot of people don’t like the growing size of the model and a touchscreen mountains what is in the 992 series.

    997.1 Turbo Similar to a Nissan Z because it’s 6 cylinder and 400ish hp?!?!?
So I suppose it’s also similar to an M3, supra GR, Kia Stinger and an XJ220 too??
    Let’s ignore the fact that it’s a V6 vs a boxer 6 or it’s a front engine/RWD vs a rear engined/AWD car 😂😂

Only a fool would pay over $90k USD for one of the most highly produced water cooled 911s in modern times, mezger or not these cars have coolant issues, ram issues and with a $8k invest only match the performance of a DFI Turbo with a tune. 997.2 were a 1/4 of volume of 997.1 cars and the 3.8 DFI is still used today 14yrs later
