This is amazing. I remember hearing rumors back in the 90s about Ron Dennis daily-driving some sort of top secret, F1-engined 911. Something to the effect of "I saw him in Woking driving a white 911, with Ruf wheels, that sounded like it had something crazy under the hood". It sounded a bit far fetched, yet here we are!

  • @edmatthews9235

    Thats not just a 911 but a 930 or poss m491.
Well done that color is amazing. I would still be worried about a rebuild with such and exotic F1 engine.
All in all this is amazing. One has to admit that No other car has more companys making different iterations of the Porsche 911 930 from this to Ruf, Singer, Tuthill and about 50 others. A true testiment that the 911 is hands down the best Sports car ever produced.

I worked in the Paddock back in 1984 when Paul Lanzante was running a car in the "Thunder Sports" Series. We were running a Lola T610....And we chatted many times..... Many years later while working for McLaren I saw those engines stored in a grotty little storage unit in the backstreets of Woking.... It made me sad to see them just sitting there.....(in racing cases covered in dust).... It seemed a terrible waste..... It is so good to see that Dean has brought them back to life.... And using them as the Racing Gods Intended..... Great video once again Miss Jodie..... Bless ya....... :-))) xxxxxx

That has to be one of, if not the nicest looking Classic G-Model 'rebuild, restomod, re-engineered' specials that I have seen recently. Top work by all involved and it sounded lovely. Also, I'm not completely sold on the modern style headlights, however, these are the nicest that I have seen. Anyone know who makes them?

Seems very civilized on the road and sounds quite raspy. Looking forward to more footage of it being opened up a bit on the open road.
