I like your content because it's honest with no BS step-by-step breakdown and also with great production quality you are putting out great content which is helpful to players all around the world I am grateful.
Wouldn't worry about your videos being too long. Your coverage and presentation style is so good that I appreciate the more information you can give. :)
Used the court ff3 when they came out but after a year went back to gel resolution 9. The court ff3 felt heavy after long play and made my footwork even worse than it already is :)
Another great video from your channel. Thank you for the comparison. My first ascis were gel res 7. Amazing. Even got rid of plantar fasciatis. They went out of stock and bought the speeds.Completely agree with you. The feel more of a running shoe and felt that i got easier-faster to the net with them. These are my go to shoes. If anything i would prefer is to be a little less snuggier on the ankle. BTW, you look like Holger on your open stance. Again, thank you and keep it up with these quality content!
Solution speed gave me plantar faciatis. If you are tall and 90+ kg stay away from it. The heel damping is to week and I nearly got my right foot heel injured. Court FF are the best
I’m about to add the FF3 to my rotation. My orthotics fit great in them and they have a nice solid feel. My big concern is that I have a high arch and the sleeve is tight on the top of my foot. Also they fit long for me. My Vapor Pro 2 are 10.5 but I had to move to a 10 on the FF3
Interesting regarding the length. Just a general rule of thumb with Asics is that they have long and point toe boxes but the *fit* itself isn't that long IMO. You should be ok after a bit of break in with the top of your foot.
Great video! Having to move into a more supportive shoe because of my knee, so this was helpful. Also looking at the Babolat Propulse Fury 3. Tried it? Thoughts?
Hey Luca, can you please review the blade v9 16/19. I would be interested to see how you compare them to the v8 and v7. (I use a v7 and am looking to switch)
None of these will work great on clay especially not the Gel-Resolution. If you play on both, I would go for the clay, but ideally you want to get two pairs.
Hi what is your recommendation for wide and flat feet? I bought the gel resolution 8 in width 2E but still experience some soreness in the middle part of the foot, especially around the arch.
@@RacketsRunnersVancouver dunno , but his feet are literally touching the ground now , specially in the impact areas to the front of the foot as the rubber is completely gone there.
Hey Lucas! Question for you I've been trying to find out if you have any experience using the Gel Res all-courts on har tru or clay courts? Do they work or should I properly invest in a clay shoe? Hope all is well and swell!
I wouldn’t go that far saying that you can’t ever use it on clay. Actually, I happen to have 3 pairs of all court GR9 and I play mostly on clay (Brazil’s #1 surface). To be honest, the first pair I bought was announced as a clay model. I used and loved it, so I bought the second pair. As sometimes I have to play on hard courts I decided to buy a pair of all court. Imagine my surprise when I realized it was exactly the same as the previous two I was deeming clay ones. That pissed me off, but the fact is they do just fine. I only wonder how much better the clay will perform when I buy it.
I have the Gel-Resolution 8 and seem to be one of few who doesn't like it. Most of it is good, but the hard plastic upper annoys me. If I'm up on my toes I can feel the plastic bending and the fold digging into my toes in a distracting way. So even though the shoes weigh exactly the same as my Vapor 9.5s they feel harder and heavier. I would like to try Asics again though since I like their business model of upgrading shoes rather than just completely changing them all the time like Nike. Maybe Speed FF3 could work, if it has less upper plastic than Gel-Res.
I read somewhere in the comments that out of these 3 you prefer the Court ff 3 right? But I do hear you mention quite a lot of "cons". Above all the one that it feels like a brick (compared to the speed). The fact that you said out of these three you prefer this one makes me want to ask you what shoe do you wear yourself and what is your favorite shoe in general?
@@RacketsRunnersVancouver court ff are my favourite on clay court. On hard courts don’t you found them kinda rigid in the beginning ? I mean like wearing too much stuff….. lockdown is GOAT.
@@TheodorosKolokotronis799Hi, I saw in one if your comments on another video that you were using speed FF2. Is that still the case ? Have you tried the speed ff3 ?
@@TheodorosKolokotronis799 thanks for the answer I’m torn between these 2, currently have the Gel REs but too much compression on my foot on top. Looking as well for something faster as I’m a lightweight guy, but still supportive. I know court FF3 are heavier, but at the Same time foot doctor Zach recommended them over gel res’ in this category. Your thought ? Thanks a lot in advance
the presentation is good but would be better if show "comparison chart" of the products , in the of presentation..!! because some time you speak very fast ..... but your content is veryelpful... i am from Brazil..
Solution Speed takes by far the longest to break in but it really makes a difference. As Luca said, you really appreciate the nothingness of the shoe when you try something else. I haven't tried FF3 but own 2 pairs of FF2 (Which are way more beautiful than FF3)
Novak starts to be quite old. Court FF might have been closer to speed FF but now Novak needs all the stability and support he can get and court FF is more heavily build.
Luca might be the best tennis reviewer in the world right now
Ahaha thank you 😅. Lot's of other great reviewers though
100% the best on RUclips
I really enjoy the reviews!
Also I like them more because I also think head gravity pro is the best racket lol
He's wayyy better than anyone I've ever seen. Thorough analysis and gives a ton of useful pieces of information. And a local guy!

Awesome break down! I loved the phrase if you want a shoe that can bail you out because I 100% relate!
Thank you!
Great content as per usual!!! I just got the Novak asics. Very exited for a Blade V9 review!!!
Thank you! And the Blade review is coming!
FF3 Court are the best on the market. For sure!
Used the court ff3 when they came out but after a year went back to gel resolution 9. The court ff3 felt heavy after long play and made my footwork even worse than it already is :)
I'm stucked with my brand new Court Ff3 . My footwork on my single hand back hand suffered so much 😅 I feel so sluggish
I also have 1h backhand. I think the high and stiff shoe design is better for 2h backhand potentially...
It's definitely a heavy shoe that you have to get used to if you're coming from something lighter.
Do you wear same size in court ff3 and gel resolution?
Yes, same size
Exactly what I was looking for after my Speed FF2's wore down. Thanks for the breakdown!
You're welcome!
100% agree with your review. Can't wait to try SS3
It's a fun shoe...

I'm 100kgs and 6"3, I've had speeds for 6 years and no issues at all. Best tennis shoes I've ever had. Don't listen to this guy
If you’re on the back of your feet too much, you will have this problem
Super happy with my Gel Res 9”s
Great video! are you going to review the gp challenge 1 shoe? it sounds pretty awesome.
Thank you! Yes, I've been wearing it for a couple of sessions now, should get a review out soon.

A really useful review! Why on earth do the brands use such confusing naming conventions (FFs, FFS!)???
Thank you, and I couldn't agree more...
FF3 court are perfect but a bit long, i regret not going 0.5 in size down from my usual nike shoes. Thanks for the great vid man!

amazing review. thank you!
increible amigo muchas gracias, saludos desde chile!!
De nada!
good comparison. thanks for vid
You're welcome!
Amazing review Luca 😁how would you compare sliding on the Speeds vs Vapor Pro 1s?
Nice surprise seeing Kīlauea!
Beautiful place to play, I had never been there!
Any idea of when the Gel-Res 10 might be released?
Probably not till at least 2025.
Good video 😊
Good comment
Great video! Having to move into a more supportive shoe because of my knee, so this was helpful.
Also looking at the Babolat Propulse Fury 3. Tried it? Thoughts?
I've tried it on but never on-court. It felt plenty supportive in-store.
Have tried them all.. Yonex eclipsion has the best energy return among all.
Interesting; it's been a while since I tried one but I should give it a go.
Hey Luca, can you please review the blade v9 16/19. I would be interested to see how you compare them to the v8 and v7. (I use a v7 and am looking to switch)
Yes! We aren't authorized to release reviews till Thursday though.
Please review the Adidas Barricade! Been curious about those
Yes, I was a big fan of those Vcore Pros!
How are the treads for clay court? Would you recommend the clay version if you play on both clay and hard?
None of these will work great on clay especially not the Gel-Resolution. If you play on both, I would go for the clay, but ideally you want to get two pairs.
any thoughts on padel models of asics? between solution swift ff or gel dedicate 8
Can i wear gel resolution to play badminton?
Hi what is your recommendation for wide and flat feet? I bought the gel resolution 8 in width 2E but still experience some soreness in the middle part of the foot, especially around the arch.
Have you tried other brands? I feel like Asics are pretty narrow
Is the new Gel resolution 9 and Court FF3 are all court shoes or have different variants for Clay and Hard courts ?
One of my friends got the novak court ff 2 and those soles are not reliable at all , gone in 6 months, wonder if the ff3 is an improvement on that.
That's very interesting. I've never heard of a problem with the soles, in fact, I've always considered them some of the most durable.
@@RacketsRunnersVancouver dunno , but his feet are literally touching the ground now , specially in the impact areas to the front of the foot as the rubber is completely gone there.

It's not a shoe you should wear on anything other than hard courts. The sole is not made for clay, at all, but they do make a clay specific version!
@@RacketsRunnersVancouver Thanks homi, I knew I could count on you, appreciate the replies as always!

I bought Gel-rocket 11, just because of the design and because I got them cheap and they are such amazing sneakers.. (I dont play tennis) 😅
I wonder Court FF 3 vs Lacoste LT23 Ultra, any thought on their comparison, Luca?
Unfortunately, we don't carry Lacoste shoes so I really can't say.
Hi, Luca. Do u think a standard B size women would be okay for flat feet or will it get too uncomfortable? Looking at Solution Speed FF
Yes it would be fine! As long as it's not flat AND very wide.

Give the Solution Speed a shot. I know what you mean with the rubber upper and the Speed doesn’t have that issue.

Is there a similar lightweight shoe to the solution speed that is more stable?
The Nike Vapor Pro 2 would be a little more stable but not quite as light.
Okay so I wear Nike us 8.5 , if I buy ASICS US 9 - is it a good idea?
The FF3?
What your pick ? 😊
Out of the three, the Court FF.
