    WHAT IS BLOATING OR BLOATED GAS:
    Now, as embarrassing a topic it can be, we all can suffer from symptoms of trapped wind or bloating from time to time. But what exactly is it? Well, when we’re eating, drinking, or chewing we are occasionally swallowing small amounts of air. Some of this air is released by our body burping to get it out, but some of it can stay in our digestive tract. And it’s this build-up of gas that can lead to unpleasant symptoms.
    With these unpleasant symptoms including a stretched, tight or puffy tummy, stomach ache, abdominal discomfort, feeling full, belching and flatulence, i.e gas.
    It can often happen to us after we’ve eaten a large meal or have eaten too quickly. Common times to experience it can be after big holiday or wedding feasts or on celebratory weekends, but it can also happen to anyone after any regular meal.
    BLOATING QUICK RELIEF TIPS:
    Here are some quick do's and don'ts that you can try for bloating relief, the video does contain lots more information on different things you can try in addition to these,
    • Exercise regularly to improve your digestion and help prevent bloating - exercise can also help when you're feeling bloated
    • Chew with your mouth closed to avoid swallowing air
    • Drink plenty of water
    • Eat foods high in fibre if constipated
    • Eat smaller, more frequent meals instead of large meals
    • Massage your stomach from right to left to release trapped wind
    • Do not drink lots of fizzy drinks, alcohol or caffeine in coffee and tea
    • Do not eat lots of foods that are known to cause gas, like cabbage, beans or lentils
    • Do not eat large meals late at night before bed, or slouch when eating
    • Do not eat lots of processed, sugary, spicy or fatty foods
    • Do not eat food you are intolerant to, if you have a food intolerance
    WHEN TO SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION:
    So, now you know all the best tips to relieve trapped wind and bloating. But what do you do if those tips haven’t helped you? Well, if you find that you experience trapped wind often, you get diarrhoea and/or constipation regularly, its accompanied by a stomach ache that doesn’t go away or comes back, or that the wind and bloating is starting to affect your daily life, speak to your healthcare professional.
    Your doctor will be able to investigate any underlying causes such as irritable bowel disease, coeliac disease, chronic constipation, or lactose intolerance, as well as prescribe any additional medication if needed.
    There are also some occasions that you should speak to your GP immediately, and these include if you have lost weight without trying to, have blood in your stools, constantly feel bloated or full, or have a swollen tummy. These can be signs of a more serious underlying condition that should be investigated straight away.

    I cut out all dairy and bread and felt significantly better within 3-4 days. I love milk and that was difficult for me to give up. Also onions. Giving up food you love is very difficult but the trade-off to consistently feel better is a no-brainer. At 62 years old I just don’t have the energy to combat not feeling well as good as I did when I was younger.

      Try lactose free milk and dairy products. I'm a little older than you and have found going lactose free has helped. It may not of course, but it's worth a try. The supermarkets have own label products that are not too expensive.

    I'm thinking i got my bloated stomach from consuming foods without properly washing my hands and cleaning the cups. I might have consumed a lot of bacteria that's causing my stomach to be upset. I didn't over eat and dont have a history of acid reflux. It's been almost 48 hours and it's been quite uncomfortable but watching this video has helped ease my symptoms.

    I constantly suffer from bloating especially in the evening. I have an intermittent hiatal hernia. I'm on diet, i eat well, i exercise etc but nothing seems to eliminate my bloat. Of course what i do helps but I'm still not able to live like a normal human being. Thank you for all the tips ! All what you said helps me a lot !

    i have pcos, so i think thats the main cause for my bloating, but even if i eat nothing for a while my bloating still stays 😭 its constant no matter what i do

    Keto made my belly debloat COMPLETELY. Took 2 days. Basically Keto is eliminating sugar and carbs (part of doctor's tip 6). However the high diary intake of the diet didn't work well with my acid reflux cause I felt nauseous. Gosh. Catch 22.

    when i was smoking marijuana all the time i had zero gut issues but then i developed panic disorder and now the stuff makes me paranoid so that's off the menu now but are there any really good supplements to deal with the issue? i've triued several but none really work as well as the weed once did. and i'm serious i have bloating all the time i even sometimes get it on an empty stomach.
    and btw, my diet is excellent for the most part but the gut issues just won't go away no matter what i try

    Great video. I just recently switched to eating more Whole Foods and went a bit over board. Totally stuffed myself full of chicken, shrimp, with some broccoli. And damn a couple hours later I felt like totally nauseous. Almost through threw up but started to drink some water and then found your video. Moving around a bit and having some warm tea. Feeling somewhat better now. Thank you for the video!

      I've done fairly well on Whole foods eating in moderation too. I love chili and beans and stuffed down some for lunch.
      Am paying for it tonight big time. Feel like no dinner tonight...or ever again 🤗
      Took an enzyme pill from health store and sipping warm water. Now I'll try moving around.
      This video is really excellent....especially
      when talked about gut bio. Beans did the bloating, plus been eating lots of bread and
      spaghetti lately. Love idea of keeping a list of what you eat. Thank you doctor.

    NOOOOO....one of my favourite meals is sauted Broccoli and Beans together. I'm guessing this is why I often look like a 7 month pregnant lady after a meal, despite being slim to medium build. This is upsetting as Broccoli's my favourite food of all!

    I am constantly burping and gasping for breath sometimes. It get really scary and embarrassing as well. I feel like I am choking the air cannot get out on the right side.I have no gallbladder I take a Betaine HCL with my 2 meals. a day! Lately I feel my mouth dry and sometimes a weird cooling taste like when you chew them spearmint gum! Any suggestions on what to try. I had an endoscopy and colonoscopy done all was good. I had a H- Pylori years ago can I get it again and what can I take naturally to get rid of it? I eat a clean diet, no soft drinks, alcohol, sugar fast foods etc.

    This video came out just in time... I suffer from severe IBS, heartburn, and vomiting, that just makes me feel miserable all the time.

    What has helped me is daily dandelion root capsules, warm lemon water in morning, tbs of olive oil in morning, Les mills griit cardio, dry sauna weekly, 1/2 gallon of water, CALM DRINK, and Whole Foods like eggs chicken, turkey, and whole grain bread. Also being real that I bloat 1.5 weeks before my period until I pop. I feel like a balloon full of blood and then I bleed and the bloat goes away. 😊

    Hey Doctor I’ve been having foamy urine for 6 months now but it’s not protein related. My A1C is 5.4 and I’ve been having acid going up my esophagus causing a white tongue for 4 months now.       Buy good probiotics from any chemist and sodium bicarbonate, which is baking soda. You can get it from any grocery shop.You'll see a lot of difference in a week.

    My own just seem like it's shaking inside me , with all test I have done.... nothing was found, I am tired and don't know what else to do....use to have h.pylori and my two last test said its negative now but whats going on now is what I don't understand anymore
