About four years ago I started belching and farting constantly. After telling my doctor I was diagnosed with a stomach bacterial call Helicobacter Pylori (H. Pylori) that can led to cancer if not treated. I was prescribed antibiotics for this. It’s now four years later and now I’m having the same symptoms with some abdominal cramping and blood was found in my recent stool sample. I’m waiting for a scheduled appointment to see a gastroenterologist (HMO’s and referrals suck). Please keep me in your prayers. 🙏🏽

For five years, I suffered from intense pain in my lower right abdomen. My doctor subjected me to a ton of testing, but was not willing to look at diet. After conducting my own diet tracking and elimination, I determined that coffee was causing the intense pain and diarrhea. I think that coffee is accepted as a normal part of our diet, but can have an intense impact on our digestive system including inflammation. I eliminated coffee, and all of my symptoms went away. I appreciate Dr. Bergs perspective and perhaps non-Western approach.

If not managed properly a section of the large intestine might become so infected the only solution would be removing that section. If too much intestine is removed a colostomy bag becomes necessary. After chemo they can’t find the cancer for the time being but he gets these really painful abdominal pain. Doctors can’t seem to figure out why the pain is there. The pain is so bad that he feels like he can’t breathe and it lasts for 3-6 hours at a time. We think he could be passing a stone or something but we’re not sure and he has jaundice now. It’s been such an emotional situation. Dr. Berg you’ve been so helpful with all your videos and I’m so thankful that I came across this video. This is exactly the info I was needing. The slow digestion and bloating. I’ve been doing something like 21/3 or even better but after too big a dinner plus a celery stick with peanut butter I was cramping but unable to release any gas. Last night my body released everything so I decided to fast all day then only eat 1 hour had eggs, cheese and bacon in butter olive oil. Went light on my ab workout and still did my 7000 steps plus drank slightly less lemon water and my stomach feels much better. Bought zinc today so taking that with 1 small glass of lemon water. I believe I was over eating, drinking too much water and eating too much fiber. Just chilling and going light on things and back to high motivation keto burn. 34 days today with a couple tiny sugar ingredients mistakes. Also tried keto pre made bread loaf and had horrible heartburn from the starch in it. Who needs it. Get my vinegar from sour kraut during dinner and kefir with berries for healthy gut. Thanks Dr Berg

It is really true that all doctors do is just prescribe medications to treat our symptoms without figuring out the root cause. I live in the middle east and its the same here. I just hate to go to the doctor because of this reason, and if you start to discuss with them or ask more questions than they are used to, they will just get annoyed and almost offended for not just taking their prescription and leave. They are just arrogant.

I did a bmr test in may. 1609 is how many calories i need to consume if i did nothing all day to maintain my weight. I lost 25 lbs in march unexpectedly, my whole body was outta wack, i eat healthy, i was having food reactions. I did a food allergy and asthma test, passed with flying colors. No one can figure out why i lost weight, and why i had food reactions. I did 2 diabetes tests, thyroid test, endoscopy test, X-rays, MRI’s, 2 cat scans, 9 blood draws. 4 er visits, 3 urgent care visits, all in march. They found nothing. My body is at 50 percent compared to the 100% it was prior to march. Still have issues with eating here and there. I only bring it up, because the nutritionist said i need to eat more calories than the minimum 1609 a day in order to gain back any of my lost 25 lbs. i eat 2200 plus now which means i need to constantly eat, which i never had to do prior to any of this happening. Its starting up again as of monday eating and having issues when i eat. How am i supposed to get the necessary calories when most foods cause stomach issues? All this is new to me. My liver is good, my pancreas is good, so why did i lost all that weight suddenly for no reason? Nobody has answers to this day. Ill be meeting a new dr july 17th, my 3rd one since march. Frustrating would be an understatement. Before all this i was eating 3 times a day less calories than now and didnt lose weight, then suddenly all this happened and no explanation despite the million tests. After watching your video, i still cant get to the root problem. There is no way i can fast, if i fast i lose even more weight. Im trying not to lose anymore weight. Im lighter now than high school 34 years ago. Went from a consistent 167 to 142 in less than 10 days in march. Having trouble getting any of it back despite 2200 plus calories im eating a day. I exercise 3 times a week like always, i garden, im active. This sucks. Plus i dont have any ulcers.

All tests were ok and I tried her recommendations of high protein, low daily calorie intake and cardio exercise 4 days a week .
NOTHING after 3 months . So I taught myself about insulin resistance and Hiit exercise. Still not much weight loss..

Robert Trujillo, the first 3 days eat normally if you are able. If you are at high pain from fats, your duct is already clogged you can't stand the pain, you are not able to eat fats. If you are at extreem pain, usually with nausia, the gall bladder can start to rot from pressure and trying to squeeze out bile past the block, rotting requires surgery of course. But I have a friend where even that was missed at E R because she wasn't screaming.

My former chiropractor used to stimulate the gall bladder by gently massaging the skin equidistant from the navel to the rib cage, which I now do often. It was awesome as it relieved my nervousness and released bile into my intestines almost immediately. The color of my stools changed to a very light color, so I know that it works.
My chiropractor from Alabama had a 21-year old assistant who had gall bladder issues was advised by her mother who was a nurse told her to only get surgery [big surprise], and now is married to worse issues as he told her that he would fix her issues without surgery. Go figure.

Had a hysterectomy, hernia surgery (was informed after that the hernia was not large enough to have warranted surgery). Have had several ultrasounds done. No kidney stones. Pain goes away for months and then returns out of the blue, even when I am fasting. Can my pain be from emotional stress???I live with 2 mentally ill relatives. No, I can't get rid of them.

I started getting pain in the lower right last November, I was going through a lot of emotional stress. It got worse and worse until February and one day I could barely walk because of the pain. I felt like I was doing everything right diet wise, but one thing I knew was letting me down was my sleep. I decided to get my sleep patterns sorted, and the pain has slowly got a lot better. When it started it would get irritated by certain foods, and it once started hurting after a quick sprint. Now it's very mild and not even noticeable most of the time, just a little niggle every few days. Other things I started just before sorting my sleep that may have helped were taking soil based probiotics, eating fermented foods, and cutting out all types of beans as they seemed to irritate it.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your thorough presentation. I am helping my Dad who is 93 and had a peptic ulcer when he was younger and had his gallbladder removed. Ever since then he had been on antacids twice a day. He ended up with bad arthritis, Spine surgery, bad knee, vision problems and now dementia. After all these year’s doctors are always compartmentalizing issues and write people off due to age. We found out it creates many vitamin deficiencies especially since he takes meds on top of everything so we took him off the antacids, giving him pure carrot juice, aloe ver juice, colleges, D3, magnesium, iron, b complex and a multivitamin. We also give him coconut oil. He is slowly improving. I am mad though that his condition should probably not be this bad. We need to change mainstream healthcare. I don’t appreciate doctors who blow off looking at the whole picture. I appreciate you arming us with information.

I am a gastrointestinal pathologist (practicing for about 8 years) and here is the truth about this video. There are some useful bits of information in it, but there are also several mistakes, for example, he confuses IBS with IBD. The best advice that I can give you if you have abdo pain is go to a doctor. If you have severe acute abdo pain, go the ER. If you have less severe chronic abdo pain, you can still go to the ER or go see a gastroenterologist. A common cause of abdo pain (especially in older people) that was not even mentioned in this video is cancer (eg. anywhere in the GI tract), and this needs to be caught asap.

Fiber avoidance is just a bandaid for SIBO. It can help manage symptoms temporarily, but we don't have a single scientific study showing that these SIBO diets starve the bacteria or treat the SIBO. What we do have numerous studies showing is that people with SIBO have dysbiosis in the small bowel. And fiber deprivation makes dysbiosis much worse in the long run...

@@davida7559 He did say 80%, not 100%. What do you mean by 'eat super healthy'? If you have anxiety whilst doing regular meditation and yoga, I'll guess you're plant based (apologies if I guessed incorrectly). An animal based diet significantly reduces anxiety, so one option is to eat much more meat. Another is that you're eating your food too quickly, or not chewing enough. Most carbohydrate digestion happens in the mouth, so chew well. Good luck.

I agree with Doc Berg with the exception of doctors giving a diagnosis. This is absolutely incorrect. Doctors do not give diagnosis anymore. They either tell you they can't find anything or they give you a made up label like IBS which does not exist. IBS is not a condition. It's a made up label by lazy MDs that don't do their job and find the root cause of the symptoms. Alot of times the symptoms are the result of imbalances in the microbiome or from infection that was not properly treated by the doctor. Chronic stress and hormone imbalances also cause the symptoms

Dr. Berg - I AM desperate for any help you can offer. After just turning 46 yrs old, and dealing with chronic constipation for several years. On top of Gallbladder and Appendix had been removed years prior with infection.
Was diagnosed with Ulcers, Duadeum Stricture, with 8 balloon stretches, until the surgeon tore my Duadial area.
Nov. 2020 - I couldn’t keep anything down, turned grey, and vomited over and over until my daughters called 911 to take me NOW! Thank God they did, as I had a twisted colon, and spend 1 day getting every constipation meds they could shove up and down me.
After about the 5th enema, sitting on toilet with nothing happening.. I was alone praying for help! All of a sudden something changed, and I felt my stomach change quickly!! I pulled the cord, and said, to the nurse, Im dying!!!!!! I knew it! She was going to leave and ignore me, until a higher power told her to stay, thank God she listened! Next thing I remember was being in the hallway, flying down the hall with a anesthesia pulling a main line in my juggler/ throat. I begged him to put me out, BEGGED!! As 18 employees stood around waiting to intubate me, etc, He said “baby I am”.. Two days I woke in ICU, intubated, half my teeth broken out, my stomach opened. High as HELL on Ketamine, Morphine, etc. stomach opened, to try and wash out the sepsis that went thru my body. Two days later, was in for second surgery - since they had taken 20 CMs of Colon, and washing cavity for sepsis. Went back in, they took another 10 CMS. Of Colon out, more warm wash… and stitched the colon back.. but left belly open:
All the time, being intubated and crazy out of my mind medicated (thank Goodness).. i only had a 2 percent chance of pulling through.
I only did, by the grace of Jesus!
I have spent the last 2.5 years with 5-6 surgeries for more corrections. My stomach looks like ground beef.. i no longer have a belly button, My stomach is all off center, all to the right, severe pain daily, chronic constipation, cant stand looking at myself. This is after a repair of a 10x20 mesh hernia, basically my e Sepsis caused my hair to fall out 60 days after the trauma.
Ive been a single mom for years, I was very pretty, even modeled. Now, I wont leave my home. I had a job working remotely at home, but in Oct. they wanted everyone back: in office, which I couldnt do, so they canned me. Im now facing daily physical pain, cant find a remote job, have nobody to talk to and dont k acing daily physical pain, cant find a remote job, have nobody to talk to and dont know how to move forward, even if I want to. Which I dont much anymore, but do for my kids sake. Please give me any ideas of where to begin!?
Thank you, and appreciate your channel and info. Nichole.

Back in the late 90's when I was in my early 30's I had a few months where I got attacks late in the night. Burping up a vile smell, severe bloating, and stabbing pain in my left shoulder blade. I would even vomit. I went to the ER a couple times during this time bc of the pain. I was treated SO badly by MDs both times. Was told I needed to set up mental health consoling?? Thank God these attacks suddenly stopped and now at 57 yrs I've not had a problem since. But I learned not to depend on the medical system to diagnose my issues. I researched and educated myself to avoid these over paid and actually dangerous medical est. Thanks Dr Berg for keeping me educated with your videos.
