- I had the pleasure of teaming up with @NastyNathanial69once again to collaborate on this audit taking place outside this In-n-Out location. We were met on the sidewalk by a customer who came asking why we were documenting & then she returned inside to complain to possibly the manager...He soon made an appearance coming to tell us that we had a couple minutes then we'd have to leave, Nathanial asked if he was the In-n-Out police as he retreated inside. About 15 minutes had passed , when we noticed police on scene parked at the end of the parking lot, speaking to the woman & employees who made contact with us....After their conversation with law enforcement , we asked them if they learned a lesson about public photography, of course there was no comment. Police get a pass for not making contact with us, However we gave this In-n-Out location a fail for trying to run us out of there.

It’s amazing that these employees always have time to stop working and go outside to question people on the sidewalk.
That employee was so generous, giving you a few minutes to wrap up your video recording. It's amazing many people think they have a constitutional right to feel comfortable.

I saw the cop mouth "I'm sorry" and I laughed and said to myself "I'm sorry that I couldn't make The Constitution a crime - if I could, I would."
Many of them dislike the auditors. They consider them, at a minimum, a pain in the butt. Remember they are trained in regard to the auditors because cities and counties paid out big money from law suits because law enforcement went stupid and arrested and roughed the auditors up.

Unattractive women absolutely despise being filmed so generally that's the issue.
Any psychoanalyst worth their salt would be far more interested in the psychological pathology that compels someone to stand next to a drive thru line filming strangers for a video.

Yeah, go do police stations, congress reps, court houses. They are the ones that will take away your rights. By just annoying some poor guy whose clients are annoyed by some Buffon recording them for no reason. The guy is working hard at a job just trying to earn a living, he starts to think is this right really good?

In part This is why you have such laws in place... it is to prevent people from taking the law into themselves or prevent people causing harm to others just because their feelings have been hurt because of a camera or for trivial things....... I cannot get over the number of people who come from a distance and walk right up to the camera or drive up, roll down their window, and call attention to themselves and say “I don’t want to be on your camera”. 🤣. I guess if you eat crap fast food, it effects how the brain functions, making logical reasoning impossible.

Under U.S. Code (Fed Law) the blue line flag is flag desecration. So it is de jure and de facto.

I like that you keep a sense of humor while you do this. I also like how you match the person you are interacting wtih. If they are fun, you are fun. When they ask you not to record them (after rolling their tinted windows down so you can get a better view) and you point out that they have a traffic cam recording everyone they drive past. As a believer in 1st Amendment rights I begrudgingly accept that individuals have the right to fly the blue line gang flag, but it should absolutely be forbidden on government vehicles and uniforms.

Anytime someone says "I'm not gonna argue with you...." it means two things:
1> They don't have a rational argument

Just reread it, As of 7/18/2023 in and out actually forbids the mask being worn by employees unless they have a doctor's note.
