He is like the “Bob Ross” of metal detecting, I love it 😆❤️
Haha! He is! Thats so funny. My favorite is when he tells us to hold our breathe to prepare us for the underwater camera.
Thoren spits on the tide coming in. He can swim. He’s in the zone metal detecting, hunting with the Aquachigger and doing quite well. The young man will have wonderful memories of these adventures. As usual, thank you Chigg your edutainment is the best.
I like how he gets more exited about a brass ring than a silver dime
Hanging with the Chig would be fun. History, reading the land, and relics. Cool.
Chigg, your knowledge towards civil war era is both educational and entertaining at the same time. You are just the greatest at what you do. 😎👍. Keep it up man!👊
I hope you are not overlooking old bottles. I've found patent medicines, a coca cola bottle that looked like a regular round bottle, and a Heinz bottle when they only had one item. I was lucky enough to find an old clay bottle that wasn't even chipped. This is one hobby that has more than gold fever.
so many finds! good time! thanks for taking us along!
😃 Nice coin haul, and I like the lucky clipper token; I think that's cool. I've always liked trade dollars - better than "just" coins... Could be a neat story behind them. 😏 Thank you for posting this vid, and I hope we all can stay safe and stay healthy! 💕
Chigg, just so you know, broken glass is still sharp after 100 years!!!! I can send you a pair of gloves 😆
Love when you find the old coins.
Wow!!! What some awesome finds today chigg, on the river banks. That should let everyone know that there are plenty of things to be found no matter where your defecting at. There's always something to be discovered. You guys found lots of coins an relics from the days gone bye. What could you find out in the water at low tide ?? You just never know what's waiting to be unearthed. Again no matter where your hunting there is something to find. Of course if your on an old colonial site the finds could really awesome sometimes. You can still find things no matter where your looking. As long as you have a good metal detector such as the At max. I know it's one of the best machines out there, I to have found so many things that people have passed by from several years hunting before I hunted the grounds. I purchased the at max after seeing how easy it is to use, an what to listen for, as far as good targets to dig. Thanks to you chigg, teaching the proper use of it. An how easy it is to set it up for the area your hunting. It's been the best purchase for me since I've been metal detecting. I've been detecting for about 2 years now an I have found so many relics an coins since I purchased the At max. I just love to get out an hunt anywhere I can. An I always find something good. Along with alot of not so good things as well but that's just part of detecting. Great video chigg. You guys rocked today on your river bank adventure. As always safe an happy hunting. 😁👍👍
Thank you Capt. Billy and Thoern Keep the Chigg out of trouble . Great job kids.
Love that area..and the Clipper Ale token.. congratulations
Awesome, Mr chigg. I love those guys,, cutting up and having fun 👍😁
some great finds in such a beautiful place thanks for the video!!😎🐓🐓🇬🇧
Love you chigg!! I've learned so much by watching your videos! Whay a shame it would be if you stopped sharing your knowledge with the world!!! Ignore people haters gonna hate!!! Hold your breath!!!
You’re the best chig!
Another superb video. Thanks for keeping us all entertained.
Your finally in your old stomping grounds like home your right at home on a river
Thank you for sharing this! It's been a while since I went out with my metal detector. Greetings from the Philippines!
Keep digging love watching
That was a Ford Model A front axle you walked by at the end
I love it how you guys get so excited when you dig something up that's maybe a couple of hundred years old. Come to the UK and dig up stuff from 2000+ years old.
Love your Maine adventures!
Man your videos are so cool! Thank you!!!
Cool finds keep on chigging diggin 👍🏻
Thanks for the videos!
Check antique maps to see if there was a structure at that location. Strange to have so many coins on a river bank.
Awesome videos man!!!
Great day of cool finds. Nice :)
Great content and nice finds 👍
I love Maine!
Awesome hunt Beau!
I call dibs on Bobby Wobbles when the Chigg finds what he's been looking for this whole time.. Guessing his heart will explode! Am willing to wait a while though..
I can see it in my mind #CaptainBilly...Captain Billy's Adventures..Lodging andDetecting and Just All Around Fun, Fishing Extraordinare...No need to send me any thanks..Your the Best series on Chiggs Channel..Oh and nice finds again guys loving this series....
Hey chigg I subscribed to you when you about 7000 subs it's really amazing to see you at over a million congratulations on all the hard work hope to see you for many more adventures
The cut coin looks like a drawer stop from an old dresser or chest of drawers. It wasn't uncommon as the time and cost to go get an actual drawer stops was more than the penny you could cut and use in its place.
Hey man thank you for the video some more cool fines oh yeah once again
Lovely location, you can definitely see how people get stuck in these areas with that subtle tidal shift. Happy hunting 😁
Cool digs brother.. hope you have a great night... BillyJ south of Pittsburgh...
Cool finds.
Aquachigger you the man big hello from New Jersey Stewartsville New Jersey keep doing what you're doing love you videos
nary even a cameo from wild bill. tsk tsk. enjoyed it fellers yall scored some really nice finds. lookin forward till the next 'n
Spray bottle of water helps...lol Great finds.
Clipper ale advert token from the 1940s.
Looks like the cog you turn to adjust the wick on an oil lamp. ;)
Another successful day for you guys keep up the good work
your detecting is fun, wish i was there with you
Interesting stuff!!
That “pencil sharpener thing” is a finial for a lamp
Its crazy to see how fast the water came in. Went from a creek to the Mississippi. 🤣😂🤣😂 good good finds tho
Another great video
The notched token could be a homemade scribing tool for leather belt making or laying out tenon and mortise cut lines.
Awesome videos chigg
You did good this time. 👍
Hello Beau, from scenic western Maryland.
Harvard brewing company Lowell Massachusetts advertisement coin from the 1940's.
Chigg couldn't wait for a new detecting video nice
5:45 the little peace metal that you said it looked like deep sea helmet is actually what holds the antenna on the old early 1970 cars.. Which lots of time people would bend the antenna..
Hi! Perfect heart shaped rock 3:25 ❤️.
I’d like to think I’ve learned over the years what to look for. Chigg has eagle eyes.
He is like the Chuck Noris of metal detecting!
You guys need to do yourselves a big favor and buy a 10X jewelers loop. You can add a chain, string, paracord or leather and hang it like a neckless. It's always handy so when you find something you can look up close and read your dates or see small designs! Or get a larger magnifying glass that you can also do close-ups on your videos!
I always enjoy your vids!
BTW - that brass piece you mentioned your wife might use in an art piece - I think it's the top piece of a lamp to hold the shade on!??!?
nice finds
I thought you said henweigh as in “What’s a henweigh? Bout two pounds...🐔🙋🏻♂️
9:54 definitely a clock plate with the mainspring barrel attached to the plate. Most likely an alarm clock or small time only mechanism.
A squeaker yaaaaaaa!!!
23:38 looks like the top or a poker, shovel or tongs from a fireplace companion set. They screw onto the top and hang on a rack.
Oo Mr chiggs no billlllyyyyy lol 😂😂😂👍
That brass ring thing is probably a lamp part for a hanging electric light of the first third of the 20th Century. I've found a few here in various areas, and more than one in Wartime dumps.
Man I got bit up by a bunch of chiggers in the woods looking for pawpaws and thought of you 🤣🤣🤣 true story these bites are the worst
21:34 - This looks like a lamp finial to me :)
BRASS LAMP FINIAL.
Those 2 things with the round on the top looks like finials that hold a lampshade on.
See if they are threaded on the inside, they look like lamp parts.
@@permiebird937 I agree.
That’s what I thought also and someone used them as fishing weights.
Very good
It could have been a town that may have been flooded in a big storm and change the course of the river! Check some old maps of the area to see what’s up here
Cool coins 👍👍👍✌️
It s war in place
Nice content
I remember seeing something similar to the epoxy thing. Back when you could watch RUclips and a few hours later you had fallen down the rabbit hole to the Darkside. Think they called it an orgon blaster was supposed to keep aliens away or something similar cant remember, but seeing that brought back the memory of the once powerful darkside of youtube.
Grandfather said way back they would make toe taps from worn out large cents, or king George coins
Chig that chassis plate you picked up looked like it was originally part of a chiming pocket watch or traveler's clock.
The general profile of the chunk cut out of the token or coin looks like the missing metal could have been used to fashion a replacement 'buckhorn' style rear sight for a musket or rifle.
That cut coin looks like some sort of make shift bottle opener
3:01 - That cut coin almost looks like a bottle opener
Looks like you found 2 lamp shade nuts.
I think those rings that you're finding are for plugging the hole in the back of dinghies small row boats you know how they have that rubber plug with the ring on it and a chain so that when the boats moving you can open it and the water will rush out of that little hole and then you plug it up once the waters out supposed to keep the water out and easy to get the water out I think that's what those are
Thoren and Billy need their own channel (unless they already do). Especially with their accents, I’d watch anything.
EARTH ANGEL ♥️. THOSE ARE LAMP FINIALS.🌚
The thing at 9:56 looks like part of a pressure guage.
That looks like the Denny's River
Have you ever searched the monon trail in Indiana? Heard lots of gold in deer creek plus a very old railroad.
Hanging lamp part
That token is a harvard brewing token from the 40's
21:46 & 23:29 brass loops are pieces off lighting fixtures.
I think at least one of those pennies you found was Canadian, you're so close to the border. I'll have to look up Billy next time I'm in Jonesport.
Ya need a small magnifying glass!
the little bottle you found first was usually shoe polish.
the small cog looks like its out of a fishing reel.
It looks like crescent lunula was crested from the cut coin,in fact when made in ancient times it was proper for one side to be longer and wider than the other side.
Very cool Chig! Them small pointy digging tools are handy. I’m guessing you got it from Tyger Stainless in Australia? They make some nice tools!
That Indian head Penny I have found it myself last week on a field, only strange thing is that I live in the Netherlands, how did it got here? It is from 1898.
There has been tourists since there was lands where you did not live
That’s pretty awesome to find an Indian head in the Netherlands!!! I haven’t even found one here in the US yet!!!
@@HokieJuju Het Julianne, haha I must be quite lucky then! Thanks. Greetings Dirk
