Chigg, Salt Water Stripped Bass are real fun to catch... they put up a good fight...! If you are still there in Maine, ask Captain Billie or Thorn if you can go Flounder Fishing. Flounder or Flat Fish are fun too, we used a spreader (Triangular Jig) w/two hooks on 6" or 8" nylon leaders. If you hit the right spot you can catch 2 at a time, they're a bottom Fish if the water is real clear you can look over the side of the boat, down to the bottom and see them ...! =)
😃 Cap'n Billy and Thoren are great company. 😏 Nice spot, looks like some lumberjack settlement with all those ax heads, haha! I always like to see old tools; they reveal a lot about what the previous settlers thought was important for their survival. 😊 Great stuff! Thanks for posting this vid, and I hope we all can stay safe and stay healthy, wherever you are. 😏 Blessings! 💕
There was a very beautiful full pine tree behind you as you were walking to the cellar hole. It would be the most beautiful and Hugh Christmas 🎄 tree if it was ever decorated. Enjoying the different landscape from the rocky sea coast with all the history Captain Billy shares with us. The places you have gone to I will not be able to see so thanks for sharing stay safe.
Looks like they were doing a good bit of logging in those parts back in the olden times, what with all of those axe heads. WOW! Some of them looked pretty cool. I hear the black flies can be pretty nasty in Maine in the summer. I had a friend who lived in Maine part of the year and the summers she lived out here in her house in Oregon. She said she just couldn't stand the biting black flies. Hope you weren't bitten up to much. Glad you found a number of good relics and had a good time with Captain Billy and Thorin.
Pocket watches and ax heads. That would say quite a bit. I can’t stand the heat either, so I don’t blame you for getting at least a little digging done to quench the urge to find surprises.
Apex sounds similar to atmax . However mabe a bit cleaner sound? The narrow band between the elongated coils might help with that ? Thaks for the video. Catch your dinner!
A good old fashioned metal detection hunt; This is your bread and butter Beau! I hope you go back to that site sometime in the future. I don't know if it was how the video was edited or if it was something genuine ... but I had a strange feeling that patch of land was hiding something pretty spectacular! Go get MOAR! ;)
have been watching your videos for many years love your content you always put me in a good mood. not trying to put down garret but i think the notka mackro simplex is a very good contender for the price of just under 350 dollars with wireless headphones and is waterproof. just saying. like i said love your videos and have learned most of what i know and practice metal detecting from you keep up the good work!
If you step back and look at the area that you commented about drying out. It looks as though there may have been a small cabin, as it is flattened out.
Billy sure has some good places to search! Beau might I suggest you bring a backpack with some water in it, and towels to soak to put around your neck when you're getting so hot. We'll take care of our Chigg!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Gotta get yourself a small towel there Chigg to wipe the sweat and dirt off of your face once in a while! Enjoy seeing you having so much fun digging cool stuff. Mike in sunny Florida
Hey man thank you for the video I enjoyed it and now like you said you're going to go fishing so there you go back in the boat and bouncy bouncy bouncy again we that's going to be fun just don't bounce out
How are you liken that US FLC vest? I started using one a couple of years ago. I attached a USGI hydration pouch to mine for hot days like that. The Danny pack on the back is a great place to stow knee pads
I'm from Maine and we have been having a "WICKED CORKAH OF A SUMMAH". It amazes me when I see you guys out there in your long pants in that heat. Probably makes sense because of ticks though. Keep up the diggin of the doo dads Chigg!
@@jthreeb I'm more of a sword guy but I can certainly understand the appeal of axes. That's one really old axe how did you manage to date it?! I don't have any genuine artifacts in my possession. I just enjoy living vicariously through seeing others' discoveries. XD

What were you referring to when you said your friend ruined a find the other day but he didn't know it yet? Is it not a good idea to get a coin wet? Should I be cleaning with a dry brush?

The Axe Head finds are wonderful 👍🙂👍
The lost axe graveyard. Nice finds!
Amazing the number of axes you find. My thinking an ax is valuable tool and costly to loose.
Love love love the Maine series!
Love hearing the accents of the Maine guys. When my brother worked as a lobsterman, he had a real thick accent.
Oh My Neenit! I love your videos Chigg. 😄
What in the name of Maine does that mean, anyway?
Love the voice of the older Man. Sounds like Back Bay Boston. Chig. Love all your videos You the Man when it comes to looking for treasure👀

Chigg we need a review of that Ace Apex. Been eyeing it, wondering if it's worth the hype.
12:20 Chigg got his war paint on
Dear Old Maine.
Nowhere on earth like it...
Nice job boys!!!!
Awesome ! We are starving for Ace Apex videos /info , does it have tone role on bottle caps like the AT Pro ,thank you for posting !!!

A lot more to dig there
The Henry, you load it on Sunday and shoot til Wednesday!
I did enjoy thank you!
Great vidio chigg
Nice ax heads y'all
Luv some dig by the Chigg
Love for you to find a whole cooking pot. Or all the parts to put together.
Hey to your buddies to Chigg from Tn
DUDE! 5 axes? CRAZY! i've yet to find a double sided one tho!
That was nice but I preferred the tomahawk style axe head!

Are you quarantined in Maine? Seem to be having a lotta fun up there - must have been a busy spot back in the day. Keep safe & watch that sun! 👍🦘🐾😎😻
Did you check for markings linking it an Australian gold field? 😉
Nice finds
Hey chig awesome hunt!!! I was wondering if you would compare the tones on the Apex to the At pro or Atmax?
DIG-DIG AND DIG : FINDS-FINDS AND FINDS !!!!
What were you referring to when you said your friend ruined a find the other day but he didn't know it yet? Is it not a good idea to get a coin wet? Should I be cleaning with a dry brush?
You should do a video showing you cleaning your treasures from a dig like this.
Another video let’s go
Tomahawk = shingling axe. Straight blade with a hammer. Shady trees are always the detecting area of choice on hot days.
You need to get you some flaggs brah
That's a military style rifle. 😏
Have you ever dug up a body/bones? /only asking because you dig in very old areas
You should have brought Mr. Todd with you.
Keep predicting rain but so far not much. Under drought alert.
Chiggin, diggin, swiggin and piggin!
I’ve got an ATMax but you’re really making me want to get the Apex now.
Hi Chigg!
Missed that second green thing in the hole at 18:07
Is the detector fairly light and comfortable to swing?
How does the apex compare to Nokta macro simplex?
Hey Chigg I’m going up to Bar Harbor for a week. Just out of curiosity, what part of Maine are you in?
how is bobby wables ?
" those words go together well "
Cool
Looks like the apex is fooled by that big iron easily.
How do I get on the list to get the new Apex??? I have an AT Max but I like the iron volume function available
Go to kellyco you can pre-order one
That bell looks like part of a lamp
Good things are iron to
Do you like the APEX better than the MAX? Asking for my ACE 300. RAD hunt mr Aquachigger
Logging camp?
Aquachigger looks and talks like Ted Nugent😂😂😂
Have you ever successfully restored or reconditioned one of the ax heads you've found?
Good Will Detecting.... :o)
Pretty sure at near the end you was being followed by the samsquinch's ..
