- Please join me as I kayak down a river exploring some Civil War crossing sites and some Civil War battle sites. I find some really smookie relics to include a perfect Civil War musket bayonet, bullets, artillery shell fragments and many other interesting artifacts.

I can't believe how good of a shape that bayonet is in, the one I found in the river a few years ago is pretty much rusted away now and I told you before about all the civil war bullets I found just laying on top the ground and I did have one sharps just like the one you just found but unfortunately someone stole it from me, anyway I freaking love these river hunts Chigg, I love all your videos but these river hunts hold a special place in my heart lol and I hope we get to see more of them, I know one day you're gonna end up finding a CANNON in one of your honey holes if you keep at it and I pray you do, Great Video Chigg GL&HH👍
@@PabloDiablo682 yeah can you imagine how happy he would be to find a CANNON lol and if anyone is gonna find one it's gonna be him, he came down and went treasure hunting with my nephew and me a few years ago and he's one of the NICEST people I've ever met and maybe that's why he has such great luck well it's not exactly luck he prepares but you know I think being so gracious and humble has come back to him for sure
So I have to be honest, I have never been some one who is interested in metal detecting or exploring in the way that Chigg does it. Just hasn't crossed my radar. And, I am absolutely hooked, even though this isn't my thing. I watch these damn videos from beginning to end and they are Charming, they're informational, educational, and just plain fun! Thank you Mr Chigg! You are very much appreciated.

I loved seeing the dragonfly!
I saw one here a couple weeks ago. It was a 12 spotted skipper dragonfly. It looked like a guy in a shiny gold mummy sleeping bag and wearing an Airforce pilot helmet! The wings were black, white, and transparent.
Those antlers also work for Christmas planter arrangements, they look great sticking out of the greenery. 😁
For a minute I thought you might have parked the Mokai under a paper wasp nest hanging from the log at 12:53. 🐝😱😆LOL!

One day I woke up to a house full of smoke and the alarm going off. Went down to the kitchen and it was full of shell fragments. My wife was making a dozen hard boiled eggs and went to church forgetting about the stove. Water evaporated and the eggs blew up all over the kitchen, on top of the fridge and just everywhere. Glad I can laugh about it now. 😂😂😂😁That's my shell fragment story. But no purple heart or scrambled egg clusters.

Aside from colonial finds, this is what i love. The chigg in the river, with his cloven hooves, and a kayak, finding great civil war stuff on hot summer days.
Incredible bayonet, and I also really like the ring-tailed Sharps. Definitely hit this spot when the water is cleared and the level is down. 😏

Glad your back to the river's and streams, cause they hold the secrets to the past. Better there then up the other way. It was nice to be in Maine, but nothing beats finding relics back home.

Nice relics. With all the civil war bullets you’ve found it’s a pretty good guess that some of those passed-through an unfortunate soldier. I wonder if some of those bullets in your collection are haunted. Something to think about tonight when you go to sleep.
