Great to see Ingold getting some love. Probably the most underrated signing as well as player on the Dolphins this season. Every game he's always doing the little things to help them win. Always laying great blocks to get running lanes. And then lately has been getting involved in the offense himself catching some passes like the TD last week or a rushing TD like he did against the Lions.
Lived in WPB Florida for a decade and really happy the Dolphins are playing well. I'm a Ravens fan and Vonta Leech will always be my favorite fullback. Love your videos. A Grossi/Kollmann/Perna GPS episode would be incredible.
I’m sure that this comment section is going to be civil, and we can all appreciate the season that Tua is having without massively discrediting him or jumping to Hall of Fame ballots
Agreed. If this fan base can’t just relax and enjoy a season this organization hasn’t shown us in decades, we are all just going to miss it. Too busy arguing on one end of the spectrum or the other. In saying that this team tipping the scales in that regard. Fins up!
Wonderful video which touched upon what happens you get talent that fits the staff with the vision for it. Too often we haven't seen this kind of happy marriage in a franchise and we as fans are led to asking 'what ifs' rather than 'what will we see next?'. There are have been many guys who have taken play calling jobs from the Shanahan/McVay coaching tree but none of them before have schemes that blend the play calling so seamless and efficient as McVay had done at his best. Until Mike McDaniel has showed everyone how he does it with the Dolphins this season. Also pretty amazing to realize that some of the top 5 offensive team performances of the season are from the Dolphins (and not the Chiefs) with Tua leading the charge. As you stated he is doing his damage not necessarily the way the gunslingers like Mahomes and Allen would. But through his amazing accuracy and anticipation and especially hitting guys at the middle of the field where you win games that way in this modern NFL. Hell it even shows up in the red zone where he's can pick his spots however he wants.

I managed to get all 3 of Tua, Waddle, and Tyreek in fantasy thanks to your video. I would be destroying the league I was in except that period where Tua was hurt I had Baker as my backup to depressing results, so I've been trying to play catchup since he returned
I am happy with what the Dolphins are building, definitely a dark horse contender in the AFC.Furthermore…it’s crazy how both East divisions are legit this year too
Dolphins/McDaniel have figured out that by just using Tyreek speed as a straight 9 route shooter on defensive Zone plays makes the 20-25 yd passes to Waddle, Cracraft, or Sherfield too EASY not to pass up. Scoring Quickly ISN'T really the Best option now that we have an even stouter RB in Wilson Jr to suck in the LB's and Deepen the Safties on THE SAME PLAY calls,.It's gotta be Maddening as a DC
Tua was setup to fail by Brian Flores so to me having a great QB/Coach combo is the key to success for any team. Just have a little think back to how lucky Mahomes was to go to Andy Reid in KC instead of getting drafted by the Bears. My only question on Tua is can he stay healthy and available,we still have some huge games to come against the 49ers and Bills. They seemed to have woked on getting the ball out of his hand fast since the Begals game and he needs to be smart when he is playing teams with guys like Nick Bosa and Matt Milano.
I've been looking forward to this since you announced on twitter of doing a Tua episode. As a 28 year old fins fan, this is more fun than the WIldcat and I agree, it feels more sustainable. I think keying on Alec Ingold is fair, I've really enjoyed his positional versatility. With Mostert, Wilson, and Gesicki not contracted next year, I worry that we lose Gesicki, but with trent sherfield's success, and potentially erik Ezukuma, I think McDaniel will figure it out. Situations matter for QBs, I'm happy Tua is able to showcase his strengths. My friend (Jags fan, rip us the last decade) is starting to get Tua fatigue, which I understand. Fins Fans have been relentless on social media. Part of it is the snarky national media attitude that you alluded to, the "these dolphins will fall off when they play playoff defenses". I would love the Fins to go on the Bengals run from last year. Thank you for covering the fins with an open mind and I hope other fan bases enjoy your videos as well. Happy thanksgiving!
I still can’t believe Pittsburgh couldn’t finish that game against them. They dropped 4 picks and still had a chance to win it in the end. Just that type of year for us 😂
To be fair, the game ended in the rain and 1-2 of those possible interceptions would have required an exceptional play to come down with the ball. For sure Tua was rusty as hell that game and they were bad passes, but the extent to which I've heard about the Steelers having missed 4 opportunities is excessive. As a Pittsburgh fan, despite the fact you guys wound up losing, the fact your defense allowed it to remain close is impressive. It's also the only full game Tua has played this season where he didn't have 70% completions and a QBR of 80+.. You guys held him to half of that QBR
First it was: Tua is trash! He can't throw! Now it's: Tua has Tyreek Hill, of course he would be good 🤦 People should just let these guys develop and grade them after 3-5 years.
Now I understand why Gesicki was on the trade block: Mike McDaniel wants personnel that is multiple in what they can do. But Gesicki struggles as a run blocker, which gives the defense a tell that if he's in the formation the Dolphins are probably passing
Elite 11 MVP, College Champion.. he is a winner so just put ppl around him lien any other QB and see what happens. As a Fins lifer he is by far the best QB we have had since Marino, so I’m happy regardless. Sure his arm could be stronger and injury issues but it’s the NFL you’re going to get hurt

It’s almost as if Brian Flores is a terrible coach and person, and the Dolphins were 100% right to fire him. I mean, how terrible of a person does one have to be to make Tua, one of the nicest guys in the league, hate him?
I finally get what the personnel number means. 5 potential pass catchers in every play. 1st#=RB, 2nd#=TE, WR#=5-(RB#+TE#) 22 personnel: 2RB/2TE/1WR 10 personnel: 1RB/0TE/4WR 00 personnel: 0RB/0TE/5WR
"I don't see this offense slowing down, any time soon . . ." says the streamer. This team is built on 2 concepts: speed, and positionless football. The trend in the league, is to have backs that can catch, receivers that can block, and QB's that can pass, run, and . . . . This current generation of QB's, coupled with positionless personnel, have again changed the game for all concerned. (mostly defensive coordinators) Great Video Bud!
As someone who isn't from America, and understands just the basics of American Football, could somebody explain to me why Hill isn't offside at 8:15 ? His foot is in front of the line of scrimmage and in front of the ball, is this allowed? Thanks
Looks to be lined up with the ball. but either way, any receivers that are lined up on the ball have to check in with the ref. The ref will let them know if they are good or not since they will either be offsides or called for too many men in the backfield if lined up too far back. The sideline ref most likely told him he was good when Tyreek checked in with him.
The fullback is the worst position in football. The fact that they usually line up in between the QUARTERback and the HALFback, despite being called a FULLback, is just ludicrous. They obviously need to be called threeeighthsbacks

14:55 dope how Waddle cut his route and attacked the ball. Really turned a 30yd hospital ball into a 25yd dot. Show’s chemistry w/ his QB. W/ a blower (pause) at QB he could wait for that pass to get to him, but w/ Tua he took the initiative to keep this play in the plus category. And honestly, a couple bad hospital balls or yicks instead of TDs from plays like this on film would really get the momentum building against Tua. WRs snall adjustments like that could end up being the difference between 5 and 15yrs in the league for him.
You are the ONLY "analyst" in youtube that believe in Tua. There's even someone who says he is one of the worst QB in the league. Really annoying to seeso much hate for Tua
Brett, I NEED some off season videos w/ you and other NFL video creatiors! A video w/ you and Brandon Perna @thatsgoodsports breaking down all of Russell Wilsons touchdowns would MURDER LMAO
If you wanna show whether or not someone who talks about football is lazy and/or utterly ignorant, look at their opinion on Tua over the years. He's improved over the years, every player has and does, but he's not doing anything we didn't know he could and did do in college and in the NFL before this year. The "issue" when it came to evaluating Tua's play is that you had to be willing to take context into consideration (and with Tua, that meant a historically bad line, a bottom of the league receiving-core, a bottom of the league, ground-game, the worst offensive-coaching in the league, an overrated defense that was pretty mid, and a head coach actively trying to sabotage him) and you had to know what to look for in order to see what's great about him, which requires knowledge. Evaluating a QB who's not some athletic freak is hard for those who don't know what to look for, like Peyton, Brady, Brees, etc. Sure, people revere those guys, as they should, but they don't know *why* they do, which is the problem. But what's even deeper is that people refuse to get it through their thick-skulls that a person's ability to throw with accuracy, release speed, going through progressions, read a defense, etc. all have a cap that's different from person to person. Zach Wilson will *never* do any of that to the same level as Tua, just like Tua will *never* be able to make some of the throws Zach Wilson can make. Same goes for Lamar and Tua. Tua will never run like Lamar, Lamar will never be a passer like Tua. And that's all ok. This is why any commentator on the sport who acts like they know about quarterbacks and offenses, but've shit on Tua for three years now, should never have what they say taken seriously. For fuck's sake, Chris Simms was a QB and he knows *nothing* about the position in any capacity (not just because of his takes on Tua, but look at his other takes on QBs, they're abysmal).
That’s right get your receipts out 💪 I too said the dolphins offense was gonna be elite this year and even said winning the superbowl let’s hope that one checks out too 💪
Yeah, I think this Dolphins offense (if Tua can stay healthy, which was the big concern for him coming out of college) is easily one of the most consistent in the league, and that, I think gets you a long way come playoff time!

Ingold is a beast, I'm glad he's finally showcasing his perfection of the Fback position
Its no surprise really. McDaniel was the run game coordinator for the Niners. So much like Kyle Shanahan he knew the value of the additional run blocker especially if their route running is good enough.
I love the thumbnails Brett! They catch my eye every time and seem professionally done. The white letters intertwined with the person you are talking about it unique and creative!
Seeing Tua and Hurts succeed makes me so happy.
Roll Tide, Built By Bama
It will be interesting to see how the Dolphins respond when a team finally figures out how to slow them down. It happens to every team, and the great teams overcome that with something new.
Dolphins coach is an actual genius though
Based on how well the dolphins make second half adjustments, I think they’ll be fine
the browns shut down what our game is typically about, we still tore them apart
It’ll be hard but I agree. I’m still waiting for the team thats good enough to gunk up the middle of the field and force Tua to live outside the numbers.
@@dabbingtoast7743 and that’s why teams don’t gameplan that cuz if they do, you’re really giving them an opportunity to use both speeedy receivers on 1v1 matchups
Brett found a new favourite way to create thumbnails :D
Have a nice thanksgiving holiday everyone, greetings from germany :)
The "Told you so!" energy in the intro is *intense.*
The 2020 draft will go down as one of the best drafts in recent memory.
steam notification at 4:24 LOL. ONE OF US! ONE OF US! ONE OF US!
Fins up!
I told people when we drafted Tua that within three years we'd be a playoff team within four we'd be superbowl contenders
15:35 that pass is incredible
Venezuelan American Dolphin fan, basically married to a Cuban American. We love that you're having a Venezuelan rum in that Cuban cocktail. ALSO, YES THE FULLBACK IS THE PINNACLE OF FOOTBALL. Love the content Brett. Keep at it! Salud!
I managed to get all 3 of Tua, Waddle, and Tyreek in fantasy thanks to your video. I would be destroying the league I was in except that period where Tua was hurt I had Baker as my backup to depressing results, so I've been trying to play catchup since he returned
I am happy with what the Dolphins are building, definitely a dark horse contender in the AFC.Furthermore…it’s crazy how both East divisions are legit this year too
yup! usually both East divisions are considered some of the weaker divisions, so it’s refreshing to see both divisions look pretty good
I don’t think you can call them a sleeper at this point. They’re a really good football team.
As a raiders fan i'm really glad to see the dolphins using ingold's diverse skills to their advantage. He's a really talented FB and it shows
He’s the best. It’s crazy because we pretty much traded Hollins for Ingold. Both were Glue and leaders to our teams.
Look up Tua and Elite 11 Camp 2016. His NFL career is a Redux of that. Lost and then conquered the challenge.
wow average brett curse moment. everything he said wouldn't happen immediately happened with no warning
Also Mostert is ridiculously good
As a long time viewer since 2015, glad and happy for the success you’ve had, Brett. Great breakdown as always
My only problem with Tua is all the interceptions I throw in Madden
Are you a coach? Your knowledge is next level. Nice work.
That makes Tua and Tyreek the Super Smash Bros.
First it was: Tua is trash! He can't throw!
Now it's: Tua has Tyreek Hill, of course he would be good
🤦 People should just let these guys develop and grade them after 3-5 years.
you have a really 🤏🍆, please stop talking 🤣
Maybe mike McDaniel just took a minute to figure out how to scheme for a lefty
I loveFullback. Its like a Tight End that can carry the ball sometimes
Funny quirky steam notification on the bottom right at 5:19 jumpscared me for some reason
Now I understand why Gesicki was on the trade block: Mike McDaniel wants personnel that is multiple in what they can do. But Gesicki struggles as a run blocker, which gives the defense a tell that if he's in the formation the Dolphins are probably passing
i am excited to see how the 9ers D matches up against Miami
Elite 11 MVP, College Champion.. he is a winner so just put ppl around him lien any other QB and see what happens. As a Fins lifer he is by far the best QB we have had since Marino, so I’m happy regardless. Sure his arm could be stronger and injury issues but it’s the NFL you’re going to get hurt
Can you speak on the Giants offense. And how ,in my opinion, Daniel Jones is not the guy for the future.
As a Dolphins fan, it's always a pleasure to watch your videos on Tua and this offense, but as a Venezuelan, it doesn't get any better than watching you drink some Diplomatico. Thanks for the video, keep up the great work, and Fins Up!
Samesies!
Fullbacks are the meaning of life
they really aren't. find something else to idolize before you spew your dumba$$ ignorance
It’s a fullback renaissance and I’m here for it
Oh god yes, never mind the amazing breakdown of this offense. We got the cocktail outros back baby!!
I would greatly appreicate if you can make a video on Zach Wilson
We don’t care about him
It’s almost as if Brian Flores is a terrible coach and person, and the Dolphins were 100% right to fire him. I mean, how terrible of a person does one have to be to make Tua, one of the nicest guys in the league, hate him?
Love your videos - I learn so much!
Brian Flores was stunting Tua’s growth as QB.
Yessss!!!! The cocktails back! I'm taking credit for this. 😉
I watch Tua every chance I get that he is on TV.
Do more cocktail recipies, they're incredibly
that I Like It mix in the outro was 🔥
I finally get what the personnel number means. 5 potential pass catchers in every play.
1st#=RB, 2nd#=TE, WR#=5-(RB#+TE#)
22 personnel:
2RB/2TE/1WR
10 personnel:
1RB/0TE/4WR
00 personnel:
0RB/0TE/5WR
Cowboys fan here. Also a Tua fan!!
I don’t drink but man I love when u show off different drinks lol
"I don't see this offense slowing down, any time soon . . ." says the streamer. This team is built on 2 concepts: speed, and positionless football.
The trend in the league, is to have backs that can catch, receivers that can block, and QB's that can pass, run, and . . . .
This current generation of QB's, coupled with positionless personnel, have again changed the game for all concerned. (mostly defensive coordinators)
Great Video Bud!
Oh no Kollman you better not curse him
As someone who isn't from America, and understands just the basics of American Football, could somebody explain to me why Hill isn't offside at 8:15 ?
I don’t watch football. Your vids ensure I stay informed on it.
A Dolphins-Lions superbowl is entirely possible, although highly unlikely, & I am all for it
Kollmann Curse is about to put up numbers after this video
I mean he made a video about the dolphins offense and tua before the season and nothing happened
Btw Brett the video segment label thing on RUclips says "thank you Upside" as opposed to Factor. I assume that's an accident
good catch! my bad for copying and pasting and not reading lol
@@BrettKollmann I gotchu
Full back! I love it. I've always loved it. Kstate football fan since the late 90s and I miss the full back.
Great episode, great analysis. Thanks Brett!
BRETT. I HAVE TUA. IM TRYING TO MAKE MY FANTASY FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO MEEeEEEEEEEEEEEEE… ps happy thanksgiving 😅
Digging the thumbnails lately
What's also interesting is the fact that Tua, Hurts, Mac Jones...all 3 former Alabama QBs and all having success
I was born in Venezuela. Glad to see you're a fan of Diplomatico. Where did you find a bottle? Did you order it from a US store? I found mine when I visited family in Aruba.
Where are you at? Because here in Chicago you can find it in pretty much every big liquor store. Try Drizly to see if they have it somewhere near you. El mejor ron de mundo!
I see that Steam Recording notification at 4:27! Where are you capturing your video really, Brett!? TELL ME YOUR SECRETS
It feels good to be proven right about Tua
So, basically you're saying that the factor meal only saves me time if i'm able to properly eat whilst being under stress? What else do you want me to master here, NOT spill my drink too?!
Don’t curse it.
Come on Brett cursing Tua before the Texans game is just foul
He's been through enough
Lookin' trim Brett! Love your content
That’s not true. Look at the Qb school, look at underdog fantasy, Jackson Krueger sports, top billin, etc. There are plenty
Does anyone know where he gets the game footage that overlooks the whole field?
For fuck's sake, Chris Simms was a QB and he knows *nothing* about the position in any capacity (not just because of his takes on Tua, but look at his other takes on QBs, they're abysmal).
this is why as a Ravens it’s extremely frustrating that our organization refuses to surround our guy w dudes, and have the audacity not to pay him
That’s right get your receipts out 💪 I too said the dolphins offense was gonna be elite this year and even said winning the superbowl let’s hope that one checks out too 💪
Yeah, I think this Dolphins offense (if Tua can stay healthy, which was the big concern for him coming out of college) is easily one of the most consistent in the league, and that, I think gets you a long way come playoff time!
Please make a breakdown of that insane bills Vs vikings game
You're really good at what you do Brett! Love watching and listening to your content!
When you started to talk about your favorite position, i screamed out loud FULLBACK
Nah bro. do Lamar. Dude plays well enough to win normally (and as evident by his near 75% win rate) but anytime the ravens lose, he’s some type of failed science project. SEE: Jags loss results.
Dang bro, did you invent football?...lol. Talk about breaking down the plays for us none football players. Bro, even I understood it after the way you clearly, concisely and intelligently verbalized it. Great job! And wonderful demeanor as well. I had to subscribe.
Tua is a prime example as to why tanking works….sometimes
the irony is if the Dolphins got the #1 pick in 2020 they might not have even taken him
Also support your draft pick instead of sabotaging him.
