Receta: ___ Salsa roja: 6 chiles guajillos 2 chiles de arbol 4 dientes de ajo 1/4 de cebolla 1 - 1/2 cdta de consome Knorr vegano de vegetales 1 taza de agua En vaso de licuadora agrega los chiles ya hidratados con el resto de los ingredientes. Licua hasta obtener consistencia de salsa. *Aparta un 1/4 de taza de salsa para la masa* ___ Masa: 2 - 1/2 tazas de masa harina nixtamalizada para tamales 1/2 cdta de sal 1 cdta de polvo para hornear 3/4 taza de aceite de oliva *O aceite con un sabor neutro para mejor sabor 1/4 taza de salsa roja (receta arriba) Caldo de consome: Disuelve 2 Cda's de pasta de consome vegano sabor pollo o vegetales, yo use la marca Better than bouillon, con 2 tazas de agua En un recipiente grande combina masa harina, sal, polvo para hornear. Agrega el caldo de consome vegano. Continua mezclando. Agrega aceite. Mezcla, luego agrega la salsa roja. Prueba por sal. Sigue amasando hasta obtener consistencia suave, como la de nieve. __ Jaca en salsa roja : (Receta actualizada) 1 lata de jaca 1 -1/2 tazas de trocitos de chicharron vegano (beancurd frito) 2 Cda’s de aceite de aguacate 1/2 taza de cebolla picada +pizca de sal Salsa roja (receta arriba) 1 cdta de cebolla en polvo 1 cdta de levadura nutricional opcional:disuelve 1cdta de pasta miso con un poco de agua 2 cdta’s de Knorr de vegetales (vegano) mas al gusto Sal al gusto Antes de cocinar con jaca enlatada, hierve la jaca en agua, luego tira el agua y repite este paso hasta que el sabor de vinagre se quite. Luego exprime y deshebra. A un sarten caliente, agrega aceite, cebolla y pizca de sal. Ya citronada agrega la salsa, deja que llegue a un hervor lento por mas o menos 2 minutos. Agrega la jaca, chicharron vegano y el resto de los ingredientes. Combina todo muy bien. Prueba por sal. Apaga el fuego a los 5 minutos. ___ Asembla tus tamales. Cocina en una olla vaporera por 50 minutos. Apaga el fuego. Deja que los tamales reposen en la olla por 30 minutos antes de comer. 💚Aproximadamente 13-16 tamales dependiendo de su tamaño.
Thank you! Finally, a "Vegan" Temale Recipe that adds Chile to the Masa. My Grandma, used to make her's the same way but with Pork. Sadly, My Grandma, went to Heaven in 1984 & took her Recipe with her. I haven't had a descent Tamale since! Now, that I am Vegan, it impossible to find "Vegan" Tamales in Oklahoma. To be honest I don't know, I've never had a tamal without oil but I'm now tempted to try it!😊
