I was in Clermont recently with the CQ Detectorist club. We had a number of VLF machines and the one Manticore was clearly better than the others on my test nuggets.
Deus 1 and 2, ORX, Nox 800 and an AT Max.

I enjoyed the method and results in this video. What size coil is the nugget finder coil on the GPX6000 ? Have you tested the EQ800 using the Coiltek 10x5 and the Manticore with the M8. Is there much variation in depth to the 11" in your mineralized ground.

Great comparison mate cheers , would be nice to see the same with the 7000 , mine smashes once nuggies at over 500 with my preferred settings in very hot ground in Qld ,thanks for taking the time to do that video.

I've done lots of testing when I got mine that was as soon as they came out ,I retired my 4500 and found the 7000 so much better at depth but I run mine very hot, thanks mate

Thanks for demonstrating the Manticore All Metal mode on highly mineralized soil. It's a rare test with the Manticore being shown detecting over highly mineralized soil.
If you can demonstrate the other search modes over highly mineralized soil I would enjoy learning more about how the Manticore responds.
I assume you were using the factor default Recovery speed for the Manticore in Search Mode Gold Prospecting?
    TKS!

Have you tested the CTX3030 v Manticore using 11" DD coils with this method in Goldfield / prospecting mode at 40KHz. Results should be very interesting.

Thank you for the always excellent videos.
I have lots of time on the Equinox 800 and GPX 6000 in the SW USA gold fields. With the Equinox 800 on really hot ground with lots of magnetite, it can be used better with iron bias on 0 (default is 6) and recovery speed on 4 or 5 (default is 6) and with ground balance tracking OFF. I also will have it setup to accept all but the first and last target IDs so I reject -9 and 40 which takes care of a lot of the ground noise. Just using the horseshoe button to go from no iron audio to full iron audio is not optimum either way at least for me. No clue if any of that makes a difference where you are.
Love the GPX 6000 especially after getting the audio mod done.

Ótimo teste amigo, esse equinox vale muito a pena para encontrar pepitas, além disso, perdeu pouco sentimento para o manticore.

gday,i have never been to the gold fields i only hunt beaches would the minralized ground you have be worse than the salt, my wet sand machine is the old tdi pro with a 16 inch nugget finder coil it will get bigger gold rings at 15 inches without much problem, would it be worth taking it to the gold fields cheers.

Yes the mineralised ground while your detector is in gold mode is worse then the salt with your detector in beach mode.
