Furitek has my biggest respect for essentially coming out of no where. Releasing top quality esc's, motors, and parts for reasonable prices. They are always innovating and releasing amazing products. Always looking forward to what they come out with next.
I really like this channel. I also enjoy your MTB channel and I did a double take when I discovered this channel and realized it was the same person. Well done and keep up the great work. I really enjoy and appreciate your content and the effort you put in to your videos.
My lizard pro doesn't work well in brushed mode. Amainhobbies sent me another one and it does the same thing. It coggs and sputters. Firmware 2.6 drag brake is inoperable. Intermiten app connection. Furitek support is no help, tony keeps replying with stupid questions, stalling to make 30 days go by, no support at all. "If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return the product and get a full refund or exchange the product for another one, be it similar or not. You can return a product for up to 30 days from the date you purchased it."
Furitek got with Furitekusa and sent me a Iguana Pro (brushed only). I was wrong, their customer support is very good. I can trust Furitek brand, will look into other products from them.
Furitek should make a 24th and a 25th scale trucks . With different bodies not Broncos , power wagons , and the usual . Thanks for another great review .
Basically the same. Just much smaller and compact. It will lack a bit of the torque from the larger motor but you’ll never know it because it’s a beast!
Just wondering if i used a micro komodo with lizard pro esc on my scx24 would i still be able to use the batteries i have or would i need to buy new batteries as well as ?
Hi Francis, another great video! You have created a decision for me. I want to replace the motor and ESC in my Traxxas TRX-4 2021 Bronco. Would you advise me to go with the Furtek 10 or the Hobbywing Fusion Pro you reviewed last week? Please list the advantages and disengages of both or maybe do a comparison video between them?
What was your question? Not sure I understand? You're asking why one would upgrade Traxxas electronics? Given they have a warranty? The answer would be to make it perform a whole lot better, increase durability and fun factor. Traxxas electronics get a grade of C+ for me and their warranty requires still a good deal of money for shipping and processing when you use it. Not to mention all that hassle and downtime.
@@RCReviewChannel Traxxas does weird crap anyway... The Bandit VXL requires purchasing a pinion gear they supposedly don't manufacture to get the full advertised speed out of it as printed on the box. Was also really interested in getting an X0-1 at one point, until I found out you need a smartphone to unlock the ESC... WTF?!? Why should anyone need a damn smartphone to unlock an R/C car, and what about those of us who carry flip phones?
Does anyone know why my Holmes hobbies 12t is kinda jerky after it goes over obstacles? It’s wheels stop spinning for a split second, doesn’t look very scale. Running a hw 1080, the old titan motor didn’t seem to have this issue? But the Holmes does have more consistent torque

So good huh? Their pace of R&D is so exciting as well.

That's some trick stuff! Thanks for the introduction. My wife's SCX-24 may be getting an upgrade.

I would really like to see an install video of the micro Komodo into a stock Deadbolt. All the videos currently out are of very modded trucks.

I’d love to put that new trans/motor kit in one of my FCX24s and do a comparo. Where’s that FTX DR8? I’m very curious.

Does the micro motor perform the same as the old kymoto? For my scx24

Yes you can use the same batteries. They come with the same plug as a stock battery installed.

Great video do you know if available in the UK 🇬🇧 the 24 scale motor is perfect 🥰
Seen TRX4M in the title very disappointed not to see the truck.
Hi, great review! Would the micro komodo with mount, lizard pro esc, and 3s lipo be okay to use with an scx24 monster truck build? Thanks🙂
Is the fcx transmission from furitek same as stock?
Furitek pro RTR, Or Traxxas TRX4?
Man why would you put a firtech in a traxxas that has a warranty Hello Mcfly... Looks good in the scx24 because they're in need of it.. Just Sayin

Because traxxas electronics suck! If you want reliable performance you must upgrade.
Imagine having RC in your screen name and having no idea why you would upgrade something…
@@jasonbecker4997 The second half of the name tells the story 😉
