Yea I show alot of what I do at my job on instagram, an unused milwaukee power tools, but haven't got one of these tools yet, but need one bad, from what I see, they are handy, an work on several different uses. Thanks for sharing
I think this is one of DeWalt’s rare wins. I don’t know if it’s a patent or just stubbornness why the other brands can’t get figure out how to just put a variable speed trigger on it like almost every other tool we use lol
Just an FYI. I was using a multi tool for 2 - 3 hours straight with couple of minutes break and then took a 2 hour lunch after which another 4 hours of multi tool. At night i started having a nose bleed and would not stop. I had a heart surgery in 2012. I read this which researched whether the tool/vibration was causing this. What is hand-arm vibration? Hand-arm vibration is vibration transmitted from work processes into workers' hands and arms. It can be caused by operating hand-held power tools, such as road breakers, and hand-guided equipment, such as powered lawnmowers, or by holding materials being processed by machines, such as pedestal grinders. When is it hazardous? Regular and frequent exposure to hand-arm vibration can lead to permanent health effects. This is most likely when contact with a vibrating tool or work process is a regular part of a person’s job. Occasional exposure is unlikely to cause ill health. What health effects can it cause? Hand-arm vibration can cause a range of conditions collectively known as hand-arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), as well as specific diseases such as carpal tunnel syndrome. What are the early symptoms? Identifying signs and symptoms at an early stage is important. It will allow you, as the employer, to take action to prevent the health effects from becoming serious for your employee. The symptoms include any combination of: Tingling and numbness in the fingers; Not being able to feel things properly; Loss of strength in the hands; Fingers going white (blanching) and becoming red and painful on recovery (particularly in the cold and wet, and probably only in the tips at first). For some people, symptoms may appear after only a few months of exposure, but for others they may take a few years. They are likely to get worse with continued exposure to vibration and may become permanent. What effects do these symptoms have? The effects on people include: Pain, distress and sleep disturbance; Inability to do fine work (eg assembling small components) or everyday tasks (eg fastening buttons); Reduced ability to work in cold or damp conditions (ie most outdoor work) which would trigger painful finger blanching attacks; Reduced grip strength, which might affect the ability to do work safely. These effects can severely limit the jobs an affected person is able to do, as well as many family and social activities. @@pchisholm4 - I had thought that it came out here in the states in October/November. But here we are lol. I do a ton of woodworking and this would be nice to get to add to the collection. I have a lot of M12 tools but would rather have the m18 for this use I think.
This is great tool but it's worthless if nobody sells the sanding discs and attachments for it. Home Depot in Montana carries nothing for this. And your sizing of your sanding disc is not the same as aftermarket discs, so nothing fits this thing. Your marketing and sales network in Montana needs to be greatly improved. You shouldn't have to wait to months on back order to get tools, blades, and so on.
For cutting, its probably great but DO NOT USE THIS TOOL WITH THE SANDING PAD. The wider oscillation range is great for increasing cutting speed but for sanding it makes more heat (you listening R&D???). The tip of the pad on mine melted within the first 10 minutes of use and the hook and loop tore off the included sanding sheet when trying to replace it. I'd bought this specifically for exterior paint prep on window trim along with the overpriced batteries and charger. Worthless. As a matter of fact, I have yet to 'upgrade' to a single Milwaukee tool that was not a disappointment.

Surely this is the best multi tool in the market even better than festool.

Could you send us an email at socialmedia@milwaukeetool.com with some more information?

Tienes toda la razon. Yo tengo esos sintomas con 36 años de edad. Muchas gracias por la informacion.
will the m18 packout vacuum, the packout radio and the packout light and charger come to the EU?
When does it come out though? Thought it was this month?

@@DeepDiveDavid - Uncertain. I'm from the U.S.
Acme had them I got one about two weeks ago.
You guys need to make an m18 belt sander 👍🤙
They need a whole line of Fuel Sanders. A belt sander would be a good start.
i cannot find the m18 top off 175 watt power source... can you ship them already????
Anyone know how many OPM
I got a peace of wood in my eye just now
I don't know how anyone claims this can change blades toolless. I find it impossible to remove the bolt without a screwdriver.
Now show me how fast I can change blades 🤷♂️

Sounds like a technique problem. You also need a good quality hook and loop pad.
Just got mine on Wednesday
