Chad and Leanna knew they wanted to live life on the road, they just weren't exactly sure how when they started. They moved into an RV, gutted and renovated it, but realized once they got on the road that it was just too big. So, rather than throwing in the towel, they sold their RV and went smaller, much smaller. They jumped into van-life and are loving the simplicity and the ability to bounce around. They have a gorgeous garage with everything you would need to get a good workout in and even included a shower and rooftop deck in their build. Enjoy!

I got so used to solo vanlifers, I was like "who's the guy" at first. Got caught up in a cycle. What proceeded was a lovely couple with a great van. 😊 I just had a totally awkward start all on my own lol.

Indeed, how some of these people spend mega-thousands of dollars planning and building these things then brush off the idea of a bathroom as "We just stop by a gym" absolutely floors me. Cooking area, bed, shower, toilet...and especially 'toilet' are prerequisites for me.

Oh my gosh your dog is like your baby so sweet.
The shower and portable potty are a must. I couldn't live without those features. The garage and drivers swivel seat are a nice added touch. Overall it's a great build.
I have a composting toilet as l can’t do public toilets.

I LOVE everything about this van. They have everything you need without it looking crowded. It’s looks like it’s genuinely comfortable to live in. They kept it simple, but so very pretty. My favorite so far.

Andrea, When I lived in Germany it seemed to be the only dogs we ever saw, they a very popular breed overseas indeed! Miniature Schnauzers seemed to be second, so our pooch Whisker🐾 fit right in. 😉 here's to Lola n all of us Dog lo❤ers 🍻🤗
One of the better van designs I've seen yet! I really like that there is a lot of swivel room behind the driver's seat and that there's not a big wall behind it (like is common with a lot of van designs I've seen on YT). I also like that you don't have to convert your bed back to a seating area. About the only thing I'd change would be the toilet. The fridge being under the bed is the first time I've seen something like that.

Your comments towards the end could not be truer. In the 80s I was a young man of 23 and drove across the country in my car to stay with friends in CA for a while and along the way realized I wanted to travel the USA. (I hadn't been out of the state until then!) I envisioned getting an RV of some kind and really seeing the country, but time flew by and after 37 years of procrastination here I am at 60 finally in the planning stages. Don't wait, folks, any longer than you have to.
I really like the layout and how well thought out everything is. I would definitely copy this layout!!

Thank you, finally a van tour that gets the idea of minimalist living, not a lot of stuff and you want what you have behind cabinet doors! So many van conversations or Rv’s are so cluttered for a small space. This opinion comes from someone who lived in a ten foot camping trailer for seven years .

When I think of the tiny little caravan my parents used to take us all on holiday with….no mod cons. All we had was flasks and lived on fish and chips from the chip shop! Bottles of lemonade and went behind a tree for the toilet! But we kids loved it. How things have changed.
The dishware doesn’t break, because it’s metal. Enamel is just a covering.
I didnt catch the name of the dishware...what was it? We were thinking of corelle but I like the idea of metal covered enamel for dishes.

Defrosting your freeze makes the refrigerator run more efficiently, love the shower, love the outside shower, nice build...get a compost toilet much better for off road living...the garage is awesome!!! Great travels ahead...great dog!

I have been binge watching on Van builds for the past week and I loveeee your van. A shower and toilet is important to me. I like your garage too! I was planning to put 2 folding bikes for me and my partner so I will most likely copy your design. Don't forget to install CO2 and smoke detectors for your propane tank. And defreeze your freezer hehe it goes to show you two are really living in the van and not like some that I watched that prolly just "lives" in their van for a week and primp it for the tour. I love your plates where did you get those? And the best part? I love your furbaby he/she is a sweetheart and bet a great protection for you two. Stay happy, blessed and safe! My new fave van build!

Probably one of the best conversions ive seen, (except the toilet - personal preference thing for me!) but everything else is amazing. They've thought of everything to keep the head height and its light bright and feels spacious which is the most important thing.

You van is awesome,but I wanna talk about that 4 legged child you have. I almost died from the sweetness. Laying on his lap during the making of a video. Getting that big ole belly rubbed. I rescue and number up to 11 now so I truely appreciate seeing another enjoy the 4 legged baby. So many want them until they realize they really need attention food fresh water exercise then done w the whole process and sadly the animal. God bless you 2. That dog is a beauty. I'd save them all if I could but 2 jobs 11 dogs. Yep my day is pretty full. Vacation badly needed but I took on the chore so I will tough it out. Love your copper sink! My Staffie was cocking her head trying to figure out where the dog is listening to your Pitt whine, it was then I realized it wasn't her whining,lol. We live in a Coleman bumper pull, we don't travel ( to old) just love the life. Be careful when you go to different cities check to make sure Pitt bulls are allowed. Stay safe kids you did a great job on your home.
