Deanna and James renovated a vintage camper together and fell in love with traveling on the road. They found that the vintage camper was more difficult though, so they sold that, bought a van and renovated it together. Two renovations in a short time is a test to any relationship and they're doing great! Their Promaster renovation is beautiful with a full shower, amazing solar, an air conditioner as opposed to just a fan and a beautiful build all around. They also did the dinette that converts into a bed, which isn't done as much in builds anymore, but really opens up the space beautifully.

Your color sense is awesome. Also the idea of having netted doors on overhead cabinet is unique and smart. I loved your van!
Eamon & Bec used it on their new van, as have a few others. Great for a bit of air flow and a softer look.

The cutouts with rattan woven backing allows the overhead cabinets to get air AND reduce the weight of those doors with privacy. Very clever!

TrueBlueBlack47 it’s a 159” wheelbase so the back of the van is roughly 12’ x 6’

Alex Smith this is a great advice, so many people dive in right away just to find out they don’t enjoy rv living.
Like the idea of renting but it is nearly impossible to find them to rent here on the East Coast - and when you do, it is incredibly expensive!
dross24MA that’s true! I’m sure with COVID-19, most likely everyone went out and rented/bought a camper. It’s the same thing with gardening. I am an avid gardener and most seeds were out of sight.

I rented an RV for 6mos before buying my first conversion van. I was in that for 2½ yrs before upgrading to my current rig. Practice makes better!
Jesus, it's a tuscan villa in a van. They'd be the fanciest neighbours in the car park. Mine would be more hobo rough and ready but they've certainly done a good job on this one.

Ok this is my all time favorite van. Its perfect. Kitchen, dining/sleeping area, a toilet/ shower. Im sold on that toilet. It's a must. No squatting outside. An indoor shower. You can actually live here. Not much space for clothes but it is a van.

My favorite design is are the hanging back rests! Wonderful idea!
Easier access to the bench storage plus back rests don't flop or sag!
I think it’s finally got to where everyone has narrowed down the best layouts to just a few variations, but now what stands out is how well and how nicely it’s implemented and this is one of the nicest I’ve seen to date. The floor/counters/ceiling just look so sharp and so rich. Bravo!

It's so beautiful. I love the little "built ins" especially, and the consideration for having an open curved shelf by the entry. Seemingly small details like that, and modular options like the storage box that helps make up the bench seating/ bed, do make a difference. Giving serious consideration to the Lagun table mount for our RPod.

There are several kinds of toilets you can choose from. I like to look at them on Amazon to see if they have come up with something new and cheaper than the last one I have seen.
My question, how much are the bags? Do you need to flush/ wrap even when you pee? How many bags per roll?

The only thing i can notice in this video is that beautiful ocean breeze constantly running through the van. I grew up in a coastal town in SoCal but haven't lived there for 7 years now, and I miss that breeze!

Over the last five years the standard of interiors has grown hugely.The rattan doors as well as being currently in vogue is another way to reduce weight. I personally would like to see weight of fit out becoming very important. Less weight , less fuel, less pollution.

I would love to add a bed on a lift that goes up to the roof during the day and then down during the night as I can leave all my bedding on and it's so much less effort although you have a lower ceiling height above the seating area.
