After watching hundreds of different van life’s this is the best one I’ve ever seen, I love that the bed is to the side with the shower up the corner, the kitchen is so full of storage it’s amazing, and your seating area is in the best possible place to catch the views… is absolutely stunning!!
I’ve watched hundreds of van build videos. I never understood why single people always seem to put in a full size bed. You were spot on. Exactly what I would do if building out a van.
I have wanted to see a van with a single bed and this is beautiful. I don't see anything I would change! Well maybe the pocket shelves I would put a divider to half was open to inside and the other open to the back. The drawer in the back is genius!
I’ve been waiting for this yayyy 😁 I’m obsessed! This van is exactly what I’d want. I know she said she would move the pantry up front, but I actually like the separation of the spaces…it makes the part that has the electrical in as a get ready station (I’d put a mirror above that) and you have the bathroom and bedroom there too (I’d keep a chemical toilet in the shower area). Then you have the kitchen/lounge area separate, and you get the view from the couch outside if you have the door open 🙂 I would absolutely love to have this van. A few tweaks here and there to personalise, but otherwise it’s PERFECTION.

It just makes sense, the light let's air in, without you having to watch whatever is going on in the front (mess) and then with both, it probably helps isolate better too. 😀 It's really a clever design, very different from most of what is out there. 👌

That is a very elegant van conversion. A king single bed is a brilliant idea for a solo traveller. Really like the layout and the little touches. It has a warm homely feeling especially with the sheer curtain - that definitely doesn't make it look and feel like a van. When I saw that I thought it was a different setting and then said wow that's really nice. Well done.
seen several videos of European builds that have that bed/bath configuration. this is the first video I've seen of an American build with that config and I love it!
The two things I would have in such a great place is putting sliders in/on the long cupboard shelves and however possible a tiny bit larger bed. -Because sometimes I sleep like I am in a Zumba class. Otherwise the design in this home is speaking the most to me of the hundreds of other rigs I’ve watched tours on.

She is correct though The cabinets in the sleeper area are too much. This shiplap looks almost like a french cleat system if so double bonus as I use that now in my home and I could transport baskets from home to weekend travelers. Well done @DrifterVans Well done and ironically Marcia and share the spelling as well as the name. Freaky!! The Oliva is also awesome I pray you are still around when I can afford the dream.
I love that bedspread and I have the same one! My husband and I stayed in an AirBnB a year or so ago and it had this bedspread and I loved it - not just the design but the feel of it. So when I saw the tag and found it came from Target I immediately looked online and they still sold it! It's now on my bed at home :) Love your van.
Bravo ! Beautiful esthetically and functionality. Great space utilization also. I didn’t observe a rear safety or fire exit. Great job and happy travels. Lovely. As a fellow Nomad, solo woman I truly value your design. I purchased my Van from a private owner who had already built it out. I realized that a man design , although functional for his trips skiing and surfing 🏄 is not the ideal for a full time dweller. I am now on a mission to make changes , as I love the cherry wood finish and the Quigley 4x4 , on the Ford Transit . I am an Alaskan and drove from the southern states where I spent the winter months to the North . My new favorite place is Northern British Columbia. With my 4x4 I am able to go off grid on old logging roads and trails that could not be accessed by standard Vans… Thanks for sharing your design with us.
This is my favorite layout so far! Love the single bed idea. Yiu have everything, except where'd you put the toilet? You can store it in the shower? Anyway, beautiful spacious layout!

This van is absolutely lovely. I would love having one just like it, but for occasional travel. I have two little dogs and sometimes they're not welcome at the chi chi hotels. LOL
Very pretty. I would like a queen bed, even as single person. It makes me wonder about using a piano hinge to split bed in half and flip the right side up to create the left wall of the shower. Then lay it back down to sleep on. And I think you are right. Removed the one cabinet over the head of the bed and move the pantry area to the front. All in all, I love your style. Very pretty.

Waiting for the Extra High Roof (extended) Pro-Master. This is pretty perfect. I'd lose the cabinets over the bed to be able to put artwork - put in a Marine grade sunroof (hatch) over the bed that pops out adjacent small roof deck. Max-Air fan over the vanity to circulate shower steam, etc. out of the van. Froli system and slats under the bed. L-shaped Lazy Susan shelves that rotate 1/2 under the bed (into the dead inaccessible space at foot of bed) and 1/2 under the end of the kitchen counter for pots/pans etc. Foot of the bed - install dog crate for my pup, just behind the L-shaped Lazy Susan. In the slant cut of the bed, install progressively larger drawers in the dead space between the dog crate and the Lazy Susan cabinet. Just above those drawers, a pull out counter top on the diaganol plane of the bed for extra work space in both kitchen and girly vanity area, also could be a standing desk. Open shelving above the couch placed higher for headroom and a small window for airflow and light. Toilet in the shower that can be accessed (emptied) from back door of van (?). Nailed it - great design.

Great design, I just came across Drifter Vans and have been very impressed with their work. I won't be able to afford a Sprinter style motorhome, but was always my plan, Instead I have a Class C which was 110,000 dollars cheaper. But I love to see what great new floorplans but more importantly the tech. Now a 12V Air Conditioner will run off the batteries, along as you have good solar or genterator/solar panels you should be good to boondock.
Beautiful build! Some really great ideas. I like the kitchen and the fact it's built in two burners, though would be nice to see counter flush if it was possible. Loving the white, makes the space roomy, any added color can be in accessories that could be changed out if you want. So much to like!

So functional I always wonder why solo traveller's have queen size beds. Definitely makes sense and creates a lot of space with a twin bed.

I agree with the cabinet above the bed! I too would feel claustrophobic! What if you slept with your feet tucked into the back part? Just a thought!
