They DID! The winter season put a halt to my reconfiguring and building plans as I am just going along slowly ( financial challenges) as I can to preserve my woodwork from the previous build and looking for Facebook marketplace furniture to disassemble and assemble in a customizable fashion because the wood is so much better and very affordable. When I look at the back by the doors~I think about your pull out, and Occy and now there’s that storage one 🙃. I don’t have a wide Sprinter type van ~I have that old conversion Vandura, medium size. The hidden toilet in the shower is so intriguing~ that sounds so weird! Builder talk.
I actually think they have nailed it. Fantastic van. Lovely finish. So many great features. I love your van Max but I think they just took over first spot. Nice work. Love it. 👏😁
I did a pre-apprenticeship cabinetmaking course at TAFE when I was 16, I highly suggest it to anyone who is looking at building a van. I learned so much about making cabinets, but they also taught me how to use all the machinery properly and safely.
Really thought out. The slide/ hide commode in lovely shower is a game changer👍. Love your kitchen. The stove and refrigerator is so doable! Enjoy your travels🤗. I could easily live 24/24 in your van

Absolutely "nailed it"! 🤗The Thetford oven is everything! Always wondered why more people didn't do that with the Lagun table. My 2 cent ad-on would be to toss a dog bowl drawer on the interior platform beneath the lounge/bed. It still leaves room to pull out the outdoor table from the back. Lighting is perfect; 600 solar amps? Wow - I might sacrifice 100 amps for a roof deck and if there were a way to put a full length mirror on the back of the arch door that could withstand the road??; add the slightest ever "skinny closet for a few coats and a dress or two .... BOOM! So do-able. Look forward to seeing that cute couple in more videos!👍
Thanks for the feedback Leanne 😀😀 Some of your suggestions are actually hindsight regrets. We don’t have a dog but I like the idea of the drawer. It wouldn’t work for us though because we have our Truma hot air vent on the side of the platform. Yes Emily did initially want a deck on the roof. I’m still trying to engineer something together so we can sit and on the roof but It won’t be big 😂 We have also thought about having the mirror on the arch door. The door is a feature which breaks up the white partition wall so we are still undecided. Maybe we can do something similar to the lagun table whereby we can have a feature door then when half opened there is a mirror inside.

The door placement allows you to see what's outside the side door when cooking; out the back doors when open; and if what you're wearing is a hit or miss. Even a series of vertical mirrors placed in an artful geometric design, would be a cool artistic feature and less inclined to crack than a single panel. It's a beautiful interior. Definitely hoping for an update after it's been lived in a little. What an amazing layout, the chefs dream & all dedicated areas. I love the shoe hatch, a very sensible addition in exactly the right place. & Love king occy being ever the camera ready professional getting in perfect poses for those shots ❤️
One word - Wow! I can definitely say this is the best van conversion - layout, features and colors - I have seen. All the appliances, especially the dual stove and fridge placement is great. Everything is built and designed perfect.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ As usual, it's great to see you Max & Occy. Undoubtedly, these 2 vans are sisters with great benefits in stored, I love all of the extras that Emily & Max thought thoroughly, for comfort & function. I love for the fact the stove/oven is at by the door! I love the lay out and design/materials on this one... just noticed, there's enough room for lyft bed... since i'm favor with those :)
For the pull out table at the very back of the van, Instead of using it as extra storage, You could attach 2 benches underneath which could swing out so that its like a park bench and then below where the benches would be, just have x2 stands that swing out (Of course lockable) to support the weight of people sitting on the bench and items on the table. If ya wanted to get fancy, add a center slot for a sun umbrella or come up with an idea to have a canopy pull out from the van.. I wish I could build my own van, Nearly have (What I think) would be the perfect build in mind haha. Great vid

Great Van, that shower and toilet is perfect. I wondered how I was gonna seal mine up. That nail is about 85% in, drop some of the bench space, take away the oven, slide the sink above the stored toilet, permanent east west bed with seats between the bed and bench, then a draw or sliders for the MTB out the back and BINGO!! Great Vid and Sweet Van!
Nice van tour! I love the tweaks they did to make it custom to them, great job Max and Emily! Should we expect a video with some changes to your own van Max? That is actually something I was curious about, once a build is done is it still possible to make some changes like the through way without having to gut the van and start anew?

Up to now your van was my absolute favourite Max, but I think Max and Emily have nailed it. That huge oven, huge sink, sliding toilet and dual purpose tables might have just pipped yours just a tiny bit. Sorry mate. They did an amazing job. It looks so professional I can't believe this is their first van conversion. A few thoughts. I wonder if they sat their coffee machine on a silicone mat, would that prevent it from sliding off? I love their macrame hat holder. The only thing I would add is some shelving along the wall above the sink to house jars for pasta, rice, lentils etc. Have subscribed to their channel to see more.
I prefer Max's original van build, but this one is #2. The lights on the floor is definitely an upgrade. Good work and I am sure they will love living it ❤

So pleased to see you both meet up, been watching both your channels. As i start my own van build, both of your channels have taught me a lot, so thank you. Doing things different again tho, going the alum framing route, and the Humble Road way, to keep as much as possible acessable, but also lightweight as possible. (Even tho alum extrusion is heavier.) Stage 2 begins this week.
Absolutely love this build!!!! The shower/toilet combo, the huge galley with tons of countertop space, and plenty of solar!!!! So, how many gallons of fresh water, gray water, and black water can it hold? Also, what kind of water heater do you have? Love this van. It is so beautiful and spacious! Listen…..you guys have completely ruined every other class B van on the market for me! And I have seen some really nice class Bs out there, but after seeing the beautiful layout of your van, now I want one just like yours! I guess that’s why it’s best to build your own if you have the skills and know how. My friend, your van just puts all other vans on the market to shame!

I too have taken much of Max's build into my layout (not an Iveco), my solar setup is exactly the same, x2maxx air fans, nature's head, plus a few other things slightly different like the pullout table but I will have it as storage too as I have a bus, so no back doors and it won't be white inside as my pooch would soon ruin that lol & I am stealing Jules toilet layout idea too, as that's genius! :) Oh...should mention not a lot of the build is started yet as had a few problems to fix first & I'm sort of glad now as the layout has changed in my head multiple times bahaha Em, Max Well done it's Gorgeous! The pullout extra storage in the back could do with foldaway metal legs for added strength.

So pleased to see you both meet up, been watching both your channels. As i start my own van build, both of your channels have taught me a lot, so thank you. Doing things different again tho, going the alum framing route, and the Humble Road way, to keep as much as possible acessable, but also lightweight as possible. (Even tho alum extrusion is heavier.) Stage 2 begins this week.
Absolutely love this build!!!! The shower/toilet combo, the huge galley with tons of countertop space, and plenty of solar!!!! So, how many gallons of fresh water, gray water, and black water can it hold? Also, what kind of water heater do you have? Love this van. It is so beautiful and spacious! Listen…..you guys have completely ruined every other class B van on the market for me! And I have seen some really nice class Bs out there, but after seeing the beautiful layout of your van, now I want one just like yours! I guess that’s why it’s best to build your own if you have the skills and know how. My friend, your van just puts all other vans on the market to shame!

I too have taken much of Max's build into my layout (not an Iveco), my solar setup is exactly the same, x2maxx air fans, nature's head, plus a few other things slightly different like the pullout table but I will have it as storage too as I have a bus, so no back doors and it won't be white inside as my pooch would soon ruin that lol & I am stealing Jules toilet layout idea too, as that's genius! :) Oh...should mention not a lot of the build is started yet as had a few problems to fix first & I'm sort of glad now as the layout has changed in my head multiple times bahaha Em, Max Well done it's Gorgeous!
