    Thank you for the content.
I am planning to buy a DJI Mic. In most situations for me, I will have the time for the post editing on a computer, but I am trying to find the best way to use it during long journeys. The receiver will probably be connected to a Sony Alpha 7iii, an Insta360 X3 or (less preferably) a mobile phone. I am looking for the best way to have a good sound (no huge expectations for this scenario) as fast as possible before sharing videos. So, do you think such applications on the mobile phone would be the best way for me, or would you suggest any other ways?

Hey Jordan. Thanks for the video. Your audio sounds truly good. I just got the DJI Mic and I was pretty frustrated when I first heard the results. I still have a big problem. My voice is clipping all the time. I cannot add the gain higher than -3 without constantly hearing a crackling sound. I’m not sure what to do about it. My voice is kinda loud an deep. My second to last video on my channel shows the problem, i tried to do a review of the mic but still couldn’t manage to fix the clipping issue. Any thoughts for me? I’m recording on iPhone

I tried using it on my iPhone and had a similar issue. Make sure the connection on the receiver is fully connected and clean your iPhone charging port. I think it can get filled up with dust and cause it to have a bad connection.

@@ThruJordansLens hey thanks for the advice. Have you been able to get better results at the iPhone after the initial shock? Ports and all are clean with me, i guess it must be a settings thing. I wonder what can be done better? Any pointers?

@@HaveYourADVENTURE i guess the last thing I’d try is record a back up track on the transmitter. Then get a usb c to the Apple cord. Maybe try recording the sound initially, and then plug the transmitter into your phone and get the backup track. I’ve noticed the backup track typically sounds a lot better.

@@ThruJordansLens thank you. Yes I tried that and it indeed sounds a bit better. Do you know with what gain that on the transmitter recording is recording? The overall issue here though is that I bought the system to have a wireless mic that records on my camera. But now I’d have to use it like a zoom recorder. I could have bought a zoom recorder for half the price. Not really living up tot he expectations. I still hope i can get the settings right so that the wireless recording works too. I will try to record another video on that and put it up on my channel.

Just for the fun of it, plug it into a different iPhone and see if the problem is still there. Might tell you if it’s the phone or the receiver.

Hi and Thanks por the tips! My Issue with the microphone and camera combo is that the backup recording sounds deeper and cleaner than the audio of my video.
The quality of it got better when I turned off the low pass filter but the backup recording Is still the best. Do you know why this might be happening?
I tried the microphones with my sony a6300 and FX30 (no differences in audio quality) but when I record with my Zoom H5 the sound is as good as the backup recording 😅
I´m not very good at English so sorry if my writing sucks. Thanks again!

Hello lumerien, try using a different auxiliary cord going from the receiver to your camera. I’ve heard that a majority of the original auxiliary cords they sent out were bad. Let me know how it goes!
