A bus is actually very well balanced its RWD with a rear engine and twin wheeled axle and it has a low centre of gravity, it sticks to the road like glue with no roll over risk, just be careful of understeer especially on single deckers with the smaller wheels.
It’s surprisingly difficult to make a double decker unstable. They purposely make the centre of gravity as low as possible. U could corner at 50 if u rly wanted to and it’d stay upright. They just look unstable from a bystanders point of view
@@MatthewK421 I've gone round twisty backroads and bends doing 62mph they handle great. Incredibly hard to tip and are subjected to tilt testing before release. Handling on these buses are very predictable and easy to control when cornering the weakness is always understeer from the front wheels. like you experience in a front wheel drive car when pushing it on the corners. I will head back to the depot via the motorway as that is a perfectly safe place to floor your bus. The scream from the gearbox was entertaining though from an enthusiasts point of view.
