I play SPT while watching this series. And it's amazing to hear you rant on about SPT. It sounds like an action filled documentary on the side while I play!
I have AI Limiter and SAIN. It seems to work fine for me, with very only about one glitches out of the 18 or so hours of gameplay I've had them installed. I'm running 3.6.1 so I'd assume the conflict has to do with Donuts.
Lovin' your video reviews of the SPT mods. I'll typically watch your review before I try the mod for myself. And I've been having fun with SPT since discovering your channel. Because I never would have had the courage to try it without you. Thank you.
20:55 I really like how smoothly you relate stuff you do to certain mods. This keeps it interesting and easy to relate to. Keep it up 👍 43:20 I think its a tad cool that bodies now can create a hassle for you to traverse a hallway or a staircase e.t.c. Forcing you to take an alternate path or accept that the route is simply cut off to reach a specific spot. Crossing them and loosing momentum could cost you dearly in the open, so a whole new aspect to take into consideration when moving about and trying not to get killed. Then again you should technically be able to move bodies in terms of realism...
7:07 LoL. I have that same problem as well. I like to turn up the volume from my System for the game so it's VERY loud and I can hear footsteps and such and I always forget to reduce volume on my desktop speakers. Great video as always!
Thanks! I sometimes play with only speakers when I need to be aware of something else at the same time, but anyone nearby starts asking questions when the guns start going off, lol. Those grenade explosions are loud, too!
4:50 i do have that "issue" , still pretty interesting to explore an area and find 5 dead dudes and with some luck the psycho who killed them has their face in some dudes backpack and i now found the culprit
It's true, it can be cool to find the aftermath sometimes, especially if I really need gear at a low level, but it was starting to impact my performance having all those corpses and their gibs lying about. I even stopped using Visceral Dismemberment altogether because the gore can be less than immersive at times, lol.
Hey StarVox, I just wanted to give you a pointer on Deadzone mod settings. There are 3 different settings in the deadzone mod that control how much your weapon moves on screen. The only one you want to set to 0.0 is Default Deadzone Pivot. This makes it so the stock of your rifle sticks to your shoulder like you would stock a real rifle on your shoulder. You can keep the Deadzone Max Angle setting as high as you want, as this setting still allows your barrel to move freely on the screen. Hope this helps and makes point shooting feel a bit more immersive :)
Great upload ive been on spt since 3.5.0 and been running on 3.5.8 since that updated for the 2 visceral mods and you got me wanting to get the ingame bepinex menu cuz i just do the SVM in the mods folder i appreciate your video and im jumping on the site tonite to get that weather mod if they have one for 3.5.8 version cuz i feel like im always fighting in the rain lol

49:38 A game like Tarkov in a Stalker style? You should take a look at the early access title "Zero Sievert". But be aware: It's top down, but definitely nice.
I've seen it! I'm not particularly into that style, but the concept is cool! I actually prefer the concept of Thunder Tier One for a top-down Tarkov-like. I wish it would merge with STALKER for a really incredible product.
@@thestarvox Oh, you definitely should give GAMMA a shot, if you haven't tried it yet. Right now would be the best time to jump in anyway since it got updated recently. If you enjoy tarkov-like magazine management, I'd recoment you activate the mod "Mags Redux" before starting a new game. It is included in GAMMA but not loaded by default. Also check the mod settings after you started your run and set up the mags mod so that empty or partially empty mags are not put into your backpack on a reload. That got me good the first time I've tried it. x D I highly recomment to play with magazine management, due to the different feel and dynamic that feature creats. ^^ Also: If you like your zone a bit mor militarized and weapons more readily available, you could also try EFT (Escape From Pripyat). It leans heavily into Tarkov vibes, since the whole zone has more Stalkers in it and guns are buyable from traders. In GAMMA you have to find them and craft a lot to repair a weapon to decent specs and traders don't buy or sell weapons at all by default. Both packs are very good though and you can have even more Tarkov vibes if you enable the Soulslike option when you start a new game. xD I have both installed in seperate folders and put over two hundret hours into both. Might be worth another series. ^^
Totally! The SWAG+Donuts mod has a few presets for more PMCs in-raid, configurable. I think there's also another mod specific to controlling AI spawn numbers and rates, but I haven't used it and don't know what it's called.
I cannot for the life of me figure out how to even begin downloading SPT. I want to try it really badly as a fan of Stalker and a lover of Tarkovs customization, but i can only find some shady video that barely describes the install process with next to no recognition of its legitimacy in the comments. Anyone able to help?
Im running the same ish mods, but playing with traveler. Oh my gosh. So immersive. Everything counts, have to travel around the map to each trader to buy things and plan. Best way to play the game.
Traveler is an exceptional mod, very good at creating a more open world along the lines of a STALKER game. It can be frustrating for mod showcase purposes, but will be a core part of a new little series that I'm preparing for.
I'll probably put it in with some other demonstrations because it's pretty straightforward and I wouldn't be able to show anything out-of-game, but I can certainly talk some more about it very soon!
Hello starvox, thanks for this good explained video. But i have to ask you something. Your Settings in Amands and swagnuts still the same in 3.8.0? im getting only 50 up to 60 FPS on reserve... its really *******. My grpahic settings kinda Middle - Low. Specs : RTX 4070 , Ryzen 7 5800X, 32GB RAM @ 4200MHz, game is installed on a M2 nvme.

I was a huge fan of the first Division game, had a lot of fun playing it with old friends and being able to progress without a team. Having been a massive fan of Future Soldier, still one of my all-time favorite concepts for gameplay, I was elated to have the open world setting and PVE events. I genuinely believe that the combination of that and the Tarkov concept would make for an amazing game even if only for the contextual environmental animations that make players and bots more than roving gun turrets. Definitely curious to see what will happen in the future.
I'm actually not sure what the in-game settings are now since I stopped using the HUD FOV mod. They may be pretty close to default, but I'll check. Definitely hoping that mod will be updated.
There's an entry for it in the BepInEx menu, in the section for Donuts. You can even set it to remove a bot each time a new one spawns beyond a certain threshold. Fortunately, we don't need the standalone mod for AI Limit anymore.
It would have to be a disciplined list because I'm adding and subtracting mods all the time, especially when there are updates. There are some mods that I always have running, so I could post a list somewhere, for sure. You can also check out what I currently have running in my Discord server.
Good shit. As per usual. Yeah unfortunately for me, like I said, I am going to need to update my Mobo and CPU. I can get around 60 - 70 frames at beginning of raid but by the time everything is going down and getting crazy, I am down to an average 45. There are a lot of assets hanging around outside of the maps that BSG or modders need to take out. I floated above woods with the freecam and you could see the outline of Customs, Shorline, Lighthouse And ever whatever BSG is working on right next to it. Waste of space. Also... I have looting scavs and PMC's meaning they do exfil from raid but I will look into limiting some scavs.. but where is the fun in that? Keep the game alive everyone. SPT4LIFE.
Oh man, it drives me crazy just how much is loaded into a map given the importance of every player interaction. I really can't wait to see what the future of this genre of game will be like. There are so many lessons to learn. Thanks for watching!
I run Tarkov at more or less maxed out graphics on a RTX 3060 and 64GB of ram. Cant recollect the CPU exactly but its a rysen 5 or 7 on a crosshair 8 dark hero motherboard. So pretty pimped up. Then again you dont need to run graphics all maxed out for it to look good. It is worth the trade off for smoothness to reduce the settings a tad. Good game flow is more important than good graphics, but its nice to have both.
