True, awesome video. Was really hoping to also find a video of which settings you use when using a dual stream setup. Got me wondering when you mentioned the Cap in Nvidia settings on 144Hz. Dual streaming is a pain in the ass for me to get the capture smooth. Seems like you nailed it somehow.
Yes, big pain with the dual PCs for sure. I had screen tearing in my recordings until I capped my main gaming monitor to 144fps. @@SwampFoxTV for sure, but yeah i think its sort of a mandatory trade off with vsync, ppl usually avoid it because of that reason, theres ways to improve it but its always noticeable, to me at least & most others haha, all around good video tho!
I went from unstable 60 FPS to around 100 FPS following your guide. Then i tried some settings and i managed to reach around 155 FPS by turning off the grass quality and turning on NVIDIA DLSS to performance. That's in an offline raid with no AI so I will get a bit less FPS in a real game, but thank you so much for that
Have you any tips on making streets better? I followed your guide and it has improved my FPS on other maps, also the Nvidia colour settings made it look loads better (I don't need PostFX now). However, on streets I am averaging around 60 FPS which drops to below 50 when I aim through a scope. I have a 4070ti Super, I5-13600k and 32GB DDR4 Ram. I know you aren't a miracle worker and tarkov is just poorly optimized but you may have some tips haha. Also, I tried the Lower Texture Res mode for streets but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
@@potominkus9828 Depends on your setup. You need a somewhat beefy GPU to see benefit from it. It definitely looks much better than native res AA solutions but obviously has more of a tax on your GPU than native res, since its rendering in a higher resolution and using AI to downscale the image.

@SwampFoxTV Great video! Theres actually nothing to add! I've being trying to optimize Tarkov for over 3 years myself and this video describes everything you need to know, especially in low-mid tier end PCs. Just one question, I noticed you didn't turn on Nvidia Reflex Low Latency. Is that correct? Should we keep it off?
I keep it off on a higher end machine (13900K and 4090) but it's worth trying Reflex and testing your frames before and after. I'm not sure what the 'cutoff' is for seeing gains vs losing anything on that one.
colors look much better than standard settings but g-sync makes my game flicker so i turned it off, and ssr makes somethings look very shiny like in woods, trees look like they are dipped in oil. but apart of those it did improve my game experience even 3600h into game!
Swamp, this video is legit. I was wondering how you record your game footage? Just OBS??? My GEForce experience isn’t working and my son is trying to save some videos from EFT
I record via capture card from another PC with OBS Studio. If you're recording full raids, it's great for that. If you just want highlights, NVIDIA shadow play might be better since you can set it up to press a button and record the previous few minutes only whenever something cool happens.
@@SwampFoxTV The only sad thing about it all is these types of games require a large time commitment to keep pace with unlocking armor ammo etc and with so many to choose from it can be rough picking one or two. @@SwampFoxTV for sure, but yeah i think its sort of a mandatory trade off with vsync, ppl usually avoid it because of that reason, theres ways to improve it but its always noticeable, to me at least & most others haha, all around good video tho!
Defo some interesting takes, I was the same on some settings and not on others. Defo going to test these out
I'll be curious to hear your results!
@SwampFoxTV man if it gets rid of the blurry trees in the distance and the blocky shadows, man I'll suck your .....*cough* I mean never unsub....
I went from unstable 60 FPS to around 100 FPS following your guide. Then i tried some settings and i managed to reach around 155 FPS by turning off the grass quality and turning on NVIDIA DLSS to performance. That's in an offline raid with no AI so I will get a bit less FPS in a real game, but thank you so much for that
Awesome! Doing some testing on your own is always best, glad you nearly tripled your fps!
Also, I tried the Lower Texture Res mode for streets but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
thanks bro appriciate it.
Happy to help!
Great video as always.
Amazing ... I have never played Tarkov, but I know how much work went into this video based on other games I have played ... well done Sir!
Hey thanks
Im telling you try DLDSR+DLSS in tarkov. It looks so much better than TAA High and still runs great.
Лучший! Сразу fps с 65 до 125 подпрыгнул
How to do it my friend ?
I lost 40fps by doing this and for no obvious quality improvement
@@potominkus9828 Depends on your setup. You need a somewhat beefy GPU to see benefit from it. It definitely looks much better than native res AA solutions but obviously has more of a tax on your GPU than native res, since its rendering in a higher resolution and using AI to downscale the image.
Thanks. I went from 40 fps to 70+ makes the game actually playable now.
Huge jump going from below 60 to above, glad it helped!

Super useful, as usual. Thanks Swapie!

For anyone getting stutters since latest patch the fix I found was enabling v sync lost a couple frames but no longer go down to 18 every 7 seconds. I had to disable reflex to as well
well i tried your settings, i can say that i got stable smooth experience but had issue in Streets 70-86 fps so i tried to to turn resample to 2x and 4x got +10-30 fps increase. PC Specs I7-13700K RTX 4080 16GB 64GB DDR5 1TB SSD m.2, Resolution Full HD, you forgot to mention about Fixed Refresh Rate in NVidia Control Panel, but overall you did great job.
Thanks for the feedback
Wow, I can't believe how good, how much better, my graphics look after following all your suggestions. Thanks so much. I have an RTX 4070 and I really feel like I'm getting the best out of it now, my game looks so good. Cheers from the UK.
Happy to help!
I have a 4070 and feel I’m strugglin with fps did you follow this exact all the way through or did you just follow the in game graphic settings
@@bondi9mmgaming304 I followed it all through exactly.
@@obifuntoknowme I followed it but didn’t see much improvement maybe a little more stable but no increase to fps I’m using a Ryzen 7 5700x with rtx 407012gb, 32 gigs of ram
Dude 4 years ive have struggled with bad Fps and watched a 100 vids and yours actually works went from 60 to 70 fps to 130 fps thanks. BIG F N THANKS!
🥳🥳😎👍
Just wanted to drop a thank you, my cpu was choking my gpu and keeping me at about 80 fps average, now woods is 165
wow ,i was just looking for tarkov performance settings. great timing for me I guess :)
Hope they helped!
+30 average fps on EFT and 2x fps on arena
GOATED FPS guide fr.

I can now watch the bullet that will head, eyes me at 100+ FPS!!!!
Hopefully 144+ 😂
You saved my tarkov. Thank you.
Glad I could help!
@SwampFoxTV
Great video!
I'm not sure what the 'cutoff' is for seeing gains vs losing anything on that one.
important, the automatic ram cleaner only works if you open the settings menu with ESC. if you never do so, the cleaner never runs.
The ABI ad fked up the chapter timing. They are inaccurate, for desktop color settings and launcher settings specifically.
Facts!!
Thank you, I just realized that myself. I will fix it tomorrow when I'm back to the PC. I appreciate the heads up
No worries, great video otherwise man. I could've included that initially. As someone with 3k+ hours, even I found this helpful. Thanks.
colors look much better than standard settings but g-sync makes my game flicker so i turned it off, and ssr makes somethings look very shiny like in woods, trees look like they are dipped in oil. but apart of those it did improve my game experience even 3600h into game!
Ha, nice! Thanks for the feedback
good video bro
Happy to help!
@@SwampFoxTV thank you, sir

lmao ABI ad on a tarkov video is insane work
This genre will expand quickly. It might seem strange at first, but we're about to see sooo many more extraction shooters popping up
@@SwampFoxTV The only sad thing about it all is these types of games require a large time commitment to keep pace with unlocking armor ammo etc and with so many to choose from it can be rough picking one or two. IMO there are too many realism extraction shooters coming out recently so Level Zero: Extraction and games like The Cycle:Frontier are always a nice breather. Hoping Marathon is good when they start doing Betas and releasing footage
@@Justuskhanin Abi everything is unlocked at like level 4 which takes three matches to get to. It has no skills or any quests that you actually have to do. There is no grind or progression in Abi
@@RTFMhvac Which is one of the reasons I probably won’t be playing it. I prefer games that have progression to unlock better and better items with meaningful quests. But even without progression, you still have to put in a decent amount of hours just to farm money for gear. And farming money in ABI is cooked.
@@Justuskhan yeah I won’t be be playing it either. I used to not be into gaming but played AB on mobile, when they made the PC version I built a nice PC and also got Tarkov. Didn’t touch AB for the rest of the beta after Tarkov, it’s brutal compared to the AB temu version. So much more detail
THANK YOU OMG
