    For best performance you also have to better optimize your PC for Tarkov, fortunately for you, I have a guide for that already! 👊

    what i do for low latency mode on nvidia settings, is i enable it globally in nvidia control panel, THEN, i go into EFT settings in nvidia control panel and DISABLE low latency mode.
    basically, ive learned that low latency mode in nvidia control panel, AND nvidia low latency IN GAME can clash with eachother causing stutter.
    basically, i would just turn off low latency mode for tarkov in nvidia control panel, then enable it in game for the best results.
    hope this helps :p

    I got a 7800X3D, 32 gigs of DDR5 6000 MHZ ram, solid new cooler for CPU, slight OC on CPU/RAM (3070, same GPU did not feel need to upgrade) and I was getting around 90-120 FPS on all maps besides streets (40-60 MAX and very unstable) and light house (VERY unstable, would go from 130-45 FPS). With new parts, I get 140-170 FPS on all maps but streets. On Streets I get 100-120 and its very consistent, few dips to 80 here and there. I'm pretty happy with it.

    This is usable if you are not CPU limited.. which is the biggest problem. the biggest problem is bullet trajectories, armor penetration, the number of scavs and pmc on the map, which brings the cpu into a bottleneck. then any graphics settings will not help you with minimal fps.
    increasing the graphics settings will reduce the maximum fps, but then the fps range will not be so large and the game will have a more stable frame rate
    if you have a cpu bottleneck you won't do anything at all until you get a better cpu.. i have a weak cpu and gpu amd rx7800 16gb. on woods I have 55fps when aiming with optics.
    you should test an offline raid with the settings turned on so that the scavs are at war with each other. then it will be relevant for online raid

    • @noimnotnice
      @noimnotnice 11 месяцев назад +2

      Correct. I did two quick comparitative offline runs on Customs with the same gfx settings.
      1. No AI: 115-136fps, with a solid 120avg.
      2. AI as in Online + bosses. 45-78fps.
      Online raids are better, but they don't crack into the 100s for me.

    Anisotropic Filtering makes a huge difference in the texture quality of your gun. It will be much more detailed if you have it set to on. If that's important to you.

  • @xistam
    @xistam 11 месяцев назад +1

    Just a note about anisotropic filtering, the way you describe what it does in the video isn't entirely correct. Your mention about it being angled surfaces is sort of correct though. It doesn't increase the quality of textures, rather it preserves them at an angle over a distance. The best way to see it doing what it supposed to is by standing on a flat surface like a road. Look down the road, with it off you'll notice the road starts to blur at a certain distance. With it on, it'll sharpen that out, it's very noticeable when you know what you're looking for. Strongly recommend keeping it on if you want your game to look sharper and less muddy.
