I've watched a few videos about settings, but trying yours (i've always had postfx off and physical cores only on) increased my fps and looked way better. One question, you had your mouse sensitivity at 0.2 and 0.2, wasn't your idea to use the DPI you are comfortable with and setting the sensitivity to 1.0 for both?
Not exactly I see the confusion but that wouldn't work from game to game as each game has different base sensitivity based on a lot of factors that's why all your sensitivities in other games are radically different numbers and that's why I showed you how to do transfers with aim-sensitivity. What I was refering to is getting a similar desktop dpi so your horizontal movement on the desktop is similar to your in game amount so you develop the muscle memory of various muscles from your shoulder all the way down to your finger tips. Its kind of a odd phenominon I've only seen one person make a video on it but its a well known tactic professional players in various titles use, you can cross reference this by looking at the datasets of professional in various titles and their dpi and sensitivities and you'll see they all favor certain dpis based on the movement in each game.@@TheFlan80

Also, if you bind your emergency reload to a different key besides 'R' it will negate the 'Double click timeout' and you won't have to wait .3 seconds to get a normal reload in. If you do this, your normal reload speed will happen just about as fast as the emergency reload prior to changing the bind. I use 'R' Release for normal reloads and 'LAlt+R' Release for emergencies.
Been getting into tarkov from the latest wipe... and all I can say is wow, your content is amazing! I've learned so much thank you, deff earned this sub!
something i learned last night after having my pc for 3+ years and 2000 hrs of tarkov. TUNR OFF MONO AUDIO IN WINDOWS SOUND SETTINGS!!! turned it off and realized that i’m not deaf and can actually hear directional audio clearly now. for me it was on by default
I rarely comment on videos, however this is a video that I feel deserves the effort. After trying the methods and programs used there was a significantly noticeable improvement after using these recommendations. I played for a couple of days the gaming is good. I have subbed. Thanks for sharing the graphics and control settings. Everything looks clearer. Also appreciate the different key binds, much better for scope mag changes.
"Emergency reload" set in double click and binded with the same key as "Reload" makes your normal reload slower, because the game waits until your "Double click timeout" expires. I prefer to bind the emergency reload to R and something else (R+L.Ctrl) and reload pressing R instead of releasing the key.
This was great, only 14 hours on Tarkov and some of these changes has made the experience better for me. Also changed some of the controls as your explanation was logical.
I used to play a lot of MMORPGs, and have stuck with a 12-thumb button mouse from corsair. I have my (1)fire-mode, (2)light/laser, (3)Heavy bleed/medkit(press/release), (4) Weapon-Inspect/Clear Jam(Press/Release), (5) Shoulder transition, (6)Fast reload, all comfortably on my thumb, it's really handy.
i was in your shoes up until the beginning of last year. Since i started playing wow as a kid, ive ALWAYS had a razer naga. The convenience of having so many options for keybinds that can be pressed with just your thumb was amazing, but i started researching about aiming, and the differences between different mice. I learned that lighter mice are better for consistency, and the lasers refresh rate is better for precision. Ultimately, after picking up a Pro X Superlight, i would agree that while the advantages of 12 side buttons for your thumb are great, MMO mice just simply arent designed to perform in an FPS environment, and puts your aim and a disadvantage from the start.
one thing I would like to add, MAKE SURE NOISE IS OFF IN GRAPHICS!!! I have been hating how static-y my game has been looking and could not for the life of me figure out what was going on. Switching from FSAA to TAA to FSR didn't fix it. Finally found out that this setting was causing it.

The "Object LOD quality" setting also determines how far PMCs render, not just objects. So if you set it at 2, you might not be able to see PMCs 300m away when not scoped in where a higher setting would render the PMC. This is not usually much of an issue, as there's not a ton of places where you'd need the increased distance. "Object LOD" also prevents distracting object pop-in. Close objects are rendered with a high quality model. As you move further away from the object it will stop rendering a high quality model, and use a low quality one. The transition can be distracting. The higher the setting, the further away you can be before objects change to low-quality and will be less noticeable and distracting. This comes at the cost of CPU performance though which most because are already bottlenecked on in Tarkov. Also, "Adaptive Sharpen" in PostFX, even at "1" will have a pretty big hit on FPS and render time. Turn this off completely and just use the regular "Sharpness" setting.

Hi, thanks a lot for this video! I just want to mention, that we (Overwatch-players) have two different aim sensitivity to have the same feel when aiming with and without scope. So 1cm mouse movement is always the same degree of view - doesn't matter if scope or no scope. Cheers
So you're kind of right. Overwatch offers a different sensitivity slider for the few characters with optics however this is built into many games already and even overwatch doesn't give you perfect 1 to 1's using the infamouse 51.47 of w/e for ashe for example.
my man, you got a like and a sub for me from this video this is the best information i've ever seen collectively, have always wanted and needed a video like this thank you!
for texture quality, it's about VRAM usage. saying "oh for 10 or 20 series use low, 30 series medium, etc" is not explaining what the problem is. if your texture quality wants to use more VRAM than you have, it'll start moving textures from VRAM into system RAM which is not optimized for this type of work and results and vastly reduced framerates. the amount of VRAM used also changes based on your display resolution so it's not so clear cut that you can just confine it under an entire gpu series. a GTX 1080Ti 11GB will be able to use higher quality textures than a 3060 8GB because of the difference in VRAM buffer size.
I think setting crouch to release on C works a bit better so you can adjust your crouch height while holding C rather than standing/crouching all the way up/down before adjusting
Dude the sound pop bug actually helps me more than anything lmao, if I'm not mistaken it happens when someone enters the sound range, since I've had killed a lot of people because of this, it essentially is like a sound alarm that someone is close and if they don't get this pop in from me then I can just crouch and wait for them.
I have about 500 hours in tarkov and I've never changed my post-fx minus my first wipe i played. or a few of these other settings. Just assumed good pc, turn everything to ultra and I'm good lmao. These tips were game changing, earned a new sub for sure! :) great help, thanks!
You get player pops when u have binaural audio its like this semi loud noise pop that happens when u enter a players hearing radius id recommend keeping binaural on until they fix that
@@TickleMePinkGaming No, not at all. I heard you say you aren't going to do individual settings in Nvidia control panel. I didn't see anything regarding those settings. I assume you were referring to the 3D settings. I went through the transcript to confirm I didn't miss something. You go from FX Effects to Audio and never return after the sensitivity website.
Honestly an amazing video, I felt like I had pretty good settings already but the Post FX alone made a world of difference. One thing that might be worth mentioning - while I agree that most of the stuff in the Nvidia control panel is fluff and not really relevant anymore, turning up digital vibrance in your color settings can for sure make a huge difference. I have it on 75 from other games and together with the adapted post fx I'm spotting people that I have no business seeing just because the contrast is so crisp and colorful.
I use the 5800x3d n have used process lasso for the longest time and just for shits n gigs I removed the restriction to physical cores and found I actually got better frames across all maps especially streets.
Good video. Had a couple good ideas that were new to me with the keybinds. I'm just getting back into tarkov after not playing for a year or so. One thing I remember doing was setting inspect weapon to press and then fix malfunction to release of the same key, and that would allow the actions required to fix malfunction to be done in one key press. I'm wondering if that's no longer a thing now since you have it set up with requiring 2 key presses. Guess will have to test out myself. I'm still running a 1070 OC'd a bit, and I still can run the game on pretty high settings and get decent fps. I run High textures, Ultra shadows, LOD 2.5, Distance 1000, TAA High, Anistropic filtering, HBAO max perf, no SSR, and I would get 70-100 fps depending on map (except I haven't really played streets yet, so not there). Just saying that a 1070 can still get decent performance since you said 20 series or lower should have everything set to low. I'm now playing with different settings though, like how shadows affect fps, etc. I always thought low shadows settings would make shadows look like shit, I've just had it at ultra since the first time getting the game in 2019. My CPU is a ryzen 5600x. I tested this morning with physical cores only checked and unchecked, and I got a bit better performance with it checked. Like ~5 frames better. This one is always a mystery to me because so many differing opinions online. Some say to have it checked if AMD CPU. This one I continually test. I always end up with having it checked. Noticed playing today that tarkov isn't using as much memory as it used to. It was **only** using 14GB of mem, when several months ago it would climb up to nearly 20GB (I have 20GB at 3200). Was getting noticeable stuttering this morning, reminded me of tarkov back in 2020/2021, which is frustrating. Also noticed, GPU utilization was only at 70%. Last time I played several months ago, it would be near 90% and greater. Wonder what's up with that.
10:24, I wanna point out though, those with issues with the stupid head bob, head bob is the least noticeable at 75 so if you start getting headaches when playing just set it to 75, one downside of 75 is that while you do have a larger peripheral view, the FOV does not match what your eyes see and what would be the position irl so it can get a bit disorienting
Hmmm, im not a doctor but if head bob is giving you headaches that might be a weird early sign of a health issue. Not trying to be a dickhead just concerned.
ah, it just happens with some games, arma was the same, but you can disable it completely there, I don't get why do they insist on implementing it in games anyway, irl my eyes, like everyone else's, compensate for the motion of the body@@TickleMePinkGaming
great video as always. I wish you would have shown how to unbind controls, it seems like what you have to do is set it to something and then set that something to something else to unbind what you're trying to unbind.
nice video, i think it would be easier for me to understand some parts of the video if you turned your noise gate/ noise suppresion down as it sometimes cuts you off
I see you have aim keybind on continues. As someone who as been playing with press option(which is default I think), do you suggest switching to continues? Have 1.5k hours as the ladder.
For people still struggling with performance try toggling nvidia low latency mode off. For some reason with my configuration it currently drops my frames around 20 fps on some maps. I havent tested it on all maps but its worth a shot. (2080ti/i9 9900k)
keeping it on "on" instead of "on + Boost" is better as it does help with latency but doesn't lower your fps by a lot. If you're really struggling than yes keep it off.
Hey man, just getting into tarkov but ive been around PCs and have been building them my whole life. I do want you to know the thing about the graphics cards (10/20 series on low and so forth) is incorrect though. Its generally the later number that matters, so 50,60,70,80, and 90. The jump from a 3060 to a 4060 isnt going to be as massive as a jump as most people say. For reffernce, i have a 10500f and a 1650. I have high graphics, low shadows, with hbao and srr on low and ultra on 1920x1080 with consistent 60fps.
I believe fov affects Tarkov aiming so having the two settings the same actually makes them different. I think it was 0.3 on max fov if I remember correctly

@@TickleMePinkGaming I did! Thank you! It was very helpful.
can u redo this one with the 15.0 update?
This is the video we all needed great vid man
Hi, thanks a lot for this video!
Not me just now learning about needing to clear logs. Had some from 2021 still lmao
my man, you got a like and a sub for me from this video this is the best information i've ever seen collectively, have always wanted and needed a video like this thank you!
Thanks for the video, it was very informative and helped me appreciate the visuals of this game more.
You are probably the best tarkov content creator thanks for the vid man❤
Idk about that but ty boss
i come back to this vid when i get mad and think its my settings lmao thanks for doing this
for texture quality, it's about VRAM usage. saying "oh for 10 or 20 series use low, 30 series medium, etc" is not explaining what the problem is.
if your texture quality wants to use more VRAM than you have, it'll start moving textures from VRAM into system RAM which is not optimized for this type of work and results and vastly reduced framerates.
the amount of VRAM used also changes based on your display resolution so it's not so clear cut that you can just confine it under an entire gpu series.
a GTX 1080Ti 11GB will be able to use higher quality textures than a 3060 8GB because of the difference in VRAM buffer size.
This video helped my performance and visually my game looks a lot better but I still really struggle seeing in dark areas any tips?
A bright monitor preferably an IPS will help!
Thank you for helping me realize I had both my monitors at 60 hz
Bro that should feel so nice now.
I think setting crouch to release on C works a bit better so you can adjust your crouch height while holding C rather than standing/crouching all the way up/down before adjusting
This is the most anticipated video of all time
haha forreal atleast from me
Dude the sound pop bug actually helps me more than anything lmao, if I'm not mistaken it happens when someone enters the sound range, since I've had killed a lot of people because of this, it essentially is like a sound alarm that someone is close and if they don't get this pop in from me then I can just crouch and wait for them.
Watched this video twice, because pink is a W and because I for some reason watched this while in a WoW raid
Would you still recommend 59 for field of view with an ultrawide monitor?
Thanks for the FX settings!
bro can you check the boost on post fx and tell us abute that? i think you can see mutch more in there
Boost?
@@TickleMePinkGaming yes it is on post fx full down if you start from bottom is the third i think or four on way up! check it to tell me your opinion!
I have about 500 hours in tarkov and I've never changed my post-fx minus my first wipe i played. or a few of these other settings. Just assumed good pc, turn everything to ultra and I'm good lmao.
These tips were game changing, earned a new sub for sure! :) great help, thanks!
Happy I found this video. I've been playing around with my settings lately. It's gonna give this a try later
How was it?
great well rounded video man
You get player pops when u have binaural audio its like this semi loud noise pop that happens when u enter a players hearing radius id recommend keeping binaural on until they fix that
Absolutely busted honestly
I prefer consistancy, there are windows settings that will.basically give you 24/7 player pops but you lose depth

What are your Nvidia brightness, contrast, gamma, and digital viberance?
Did you skip through the video?
@@TickleMePinkGaming No, not at all. I heard you say you aren't going to do individual settings in Nvidia control panel. I didn't see anything regarding those settings. I assume you were referring to the 3D settings. I went through the transcript to confirm I didn't miss something. You go from FX Effects to Audio and never return after the sensitivity website.
Id adjust your monitor color and get it dialed in with true whites and if you want to mess with nvidia colors you can.
@@TickleMePinkGaming Okay, I'll have to look into what that means exactly haha. Appreciate it.
This video convinced me to finally upgrade my monitor. Going from 30hz to 144, the difference is insane. Definitely worth it!
30hz??? lol
Ayyyyyyy thats meeeee!! 0:08 🎉
Hahha, ask and you shall recieve.
@@TickleMePinkGaming Love it bro, my game looks nuts now!!!
I have it on 75 from other games and together with the adapted post fx I'm spotting people that I have no business seeing just because the contrast is so crisp and colorful.
it has nothing to do with the video but the desktop wallpaper is too beautiful 😂
mate this whole time.. had my monitor capped at 60 htz. good looks and great video
Happy to help bro, notice the difference?
I use the 5800x3d n have used process lasso for the longest time and just for shits n gigs I removed the restriction to physical cores and found I actually got better frames across all maps especially streets.
Maybe it wasnt set up correctly? Idk I also quit using project lasso.
I wish you would have shown how to unbind controls, it seems like what you have to do is set it to something and then set that something to something else to unbind what you're trying to unbind.
just use left click and rebind fire after
Very helpful bro, appreciate you.
GREAT info dude!! Thanks
been struggling to find the perfect settings for the snow and now I gotta redo it for regular weather. will definitely try this
How was it man?
nice video, i think it would be easier for me to understand some parts of the video if you turned your noise gate/ noise suppresion down as it sometimes cuts you off
I see you have aim keybind on continues. As someone who as been playing with press option(which is default I think), do you suggest switching to continues? Have 1.5k hours as the ladder.
Yes
Действительно лучшее видео по настройкам что я видел
For people still struggling with performance try toggling nvidia low latency mode off. For some reason with my configuration it currently drops my frames around 20 fps on some maps. I havent tested it on all maps but its worth a shot. (2080ti/i9 9900k)
keeping it on "on" instead of "on + Boost" is better as it does help with latency but doesn't lower your fps by a lot. If you're really struggling than yes keep it off.
Good shout ty weets.
Your the best G Keep it up
I believe fov affects Tarkov aiming so having the two settings the same actually makes them different. I think it was 0.3 on max fov if I remember correctly
