Man you are a Life saver tbh . Last year this happened to me and i had to bring it to my mechanic he charged me like 50 Euro s for nothing . And now last night it happened again . And some how i watched your video . It was very helpful . Ur a legend thanks mate 👍👍
Can't thank you enough mate . 7 different auto mechanics 4 mechanics not one of them had a clue how to fix this issue. My car was doing exactly this. I had quotes of 100s of pounds. 80p fuse solved it 👍 Thank you so much🙏
Thank you.. worked perfectly. Note for US BMW the fuse box is flipped around so the fuse is on the bottom right second from the bottom fuse!!! Thanks bro!!🎉
You are the best, buddy! I have the same BMW, but the F11 wagon model. And it had exactly the same problem and symptoms as in your car! The only difference is that my car is a European model and for this reason I suppose the fuse box was inverted at 180º! The position of the same fuse was lower right! But the blown fuse was the same blue one, Number 14 of 15 Amps! You helped me a lot, I really appreciate it for your video! Thanks you very much. 👍🏻
This worked on my 2011 bwm f10 msport. Im glad I found this video because I was about to take the drivers door panel off and check the connections at the actuator because I didn’t notice All the doors weren’t looking. The door actuator fuse in the USA version is on the bottom right second one up from the bottom. I now have extra fuses and hemostats in the glove box if it ever happens again. Thanks man!! 👍
It was this fuse that went in my F01 7 series and caused the doors to deadlock except the drivers one when opened with the key. Changed it and all is working again. Thanks.
Thanks man! I overreacted and thought that my kid shorted something while locking the car. Well he did so, but luckily it was an easy fix. For the Euro-models the fuse box is upside down.
wow, I just also noticed that your fuse panel, and mine, are flipped upside down from each other. Its the same fuse panel, just the placement is flipped. And yes, I found my fuse was blow too, just replaced it, and fixed the issue.
I have a 2012 528i and the problem is it unlocks the car but not locks it, neither the blinking lights come on, what’s the name of the fuse i should mention at the autoshop ? Do you think i should replace the fuse and check ?
Great video but I wished you showed exactly where the file was by showing it again after you had taken it out I also wish you showed the back end of both fuses I assume this is a standard 15 blue fuse?
Hello. Thanks so much for this info. I also had a blown fuse, but mine blows again as soon as I replace it. What could be wrong? Getting these error messages 800EC2, 800EC7 and 80209B, 80209D
My 520d doesn’t flash when u unlock or lock car no acoustic sound no red flashing light once car locked all was working fine before any solution to this problem?
Hi if you have diagnostics yes just delete fault codes but if you don't have diagnostics replace the fuse and try if works then walla if not disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and connect that should reset everything.
great video, I have the exact same problem. may i ask what is the spec of the blown fuse coz I aware there are different "ah" fuses. Apologies for thenewbie question. Thanks mate?
I changed the fuses on my car just like you did on the video and I’m still having the issues as you were on this video. Any other ideas on what to replace?
I finally found which fuse was blown! It was a 15Ah fuse I replaced it with another one just like in this video and it worked! Thanks for making this video! I appreciate your replies!!!
Hi, I have this same issue with the drivers door. Tried this but problem not fixed .....pls any other ideas? someone said it could be the drivers Door Latch Actuator Catch
I have the same issue and i followed same step but it didn’t work ! My key can open the boot but it can’t open the passenger doors, i manually open the driver door! And i use the key to lock it !! Any suggestions !
I have the same problem Boot opens ✅ Fuel ❌ All4 doors ❌ And no welcome lights If anyone knows the problem please share your knowledge here My car bmw f06 640D 2012

Very much appreciate you taking the time to make this video. Had the exact same problem and you made it very easy to address.

You also the best , ur comment here is helped me a lot because my car same as your car for fuse locations
So the fuse should be 15 amps not 10 ? Cause mines keep blowing and it has the 10
@@ralphlurenskkie8609 yes 15 Amp

I'm glad that worked out for you.
*Brilliant stuff, I'm experiencing the exact same problem at the mo, going to get a fuse tomorrow and 🤞 it'll resolve the issue.*
You are a legend , all fixed now, but on my diagram showed F58 and nothing related to F14 or F15
Works on F10 2014 535ix. Thank you so much!! Blue fuse of 15Amps.
Very appreciate you❤. My bmw f10 520d fixed. One more problem is the fuse is really hard to disconnect. Buy a needle nose pliers before you try it.
It was this fuse that went in my F01 7 series and caused the doors to deadlock except the drivers one when opened with the key. Changed it and all is working again. Thanks.
My car has the same issue, driver door is not locking/unlocking with the fob, where is the fuse for it? I wanna check and replace if that helps
Thanks
Having issues unlocking driver door.. I’m going to try this tonight’s thank you so much. Cross your fingers 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Thanks man!
I overreacted and thought that my kid shorted something while locking the car. Well he did so, but luckily it was an easy fix.
For the Euro-models the fuse box is upside down.
Great! It worked like a charm! For EU version fuse panel is upside-down
Thanks you are a life saving bro Chears
Thank you from Thailand
Hello very good video 👍excellent Ed
Thank you mate for your video😊

Hello,
I’ve just had the same issue and have watched your video.
Just to clarify that the fuse needs changing and clearing all codes?
You are a lifesaver mate. Had this problem on 2012 535i. Fixed the problem! Legend!
Can you please show all fuses for the doors antilock system
Thax....
I have a 2012 528i and the problem is it unlocks the car but not locks it, neither the blinking lights come on, what’s the name of the fuse i should mention at the autoshop ?

Do I have to use the tablet(MaxiSys) to reset the car after fuse replacement was done. In case of I do it by myself at home. Thank you.
Hi if you have diagnostics yes just delete fault codes but if you don't have diagnostics replace the fuse and try if works then walla if not disconnect the battery for 5 minutes and connect that should reset everything.
Hi! I have a similar issue with the passenger door. When I click the fob to unlock it doesn’t work, but works to lock 😪
great video, I have the exact same problem.
may i ask what is the spec of the blown fuse coz I aware there are different "ah" fuses. Apologies for thenewbie question. Thanks mate?
Hi there
You could have a faulty door lock on 1 of your doors
It could be a intermittent fault.
Thanks for watching the video.
thank you Ramiz, im aware of the hidden root cause after being inspired by your video
First i'd replace the fuse, may I have the specs? Thanks again!
I changed the fuses on my car just like you did on the video and I’m still having the issues as you were on this video. Any other ideas on what to replace?
It's a little hard without a diagnostics but I would recommend to try to disconnect battery for about 5 minutes and connect then try .
I finally found which fuse was blown! It was a 15Ah fuse I replaced it with another one just like in this video and it worked! Thanks for making this video! I appreciate your replies!!!
Damn a 3011 bmw, future looking kinda the same tbh kinda bummed out ngl.
I have the same exact problem. My 2011 535i is an American version, so steering wheel in opposite side
Thank you .. that work for me .. amp # 14 is on the bottom left in USA
Where are you located
My key was left in the washer machine and now the car starts but won't lock the doors 😢
Does the battery have to be disconnected before removing the fuse?
Hi no doesn't need to be disconnected to replace fuse.
Hi, I have this same issue with the drivers door. Tried this but problem not fixed .....pls any other ideas? someone said it could be the drivers Door Latch Actuator Catch
Hi yes It could be the driver's door lock
Do the fault have to be deleted to fix this issue? Will changing the fuse not sort it on its own
It should start working after replacing fuse .
@@ramiztheautolocksmith9022 okay I got the fuse biggest problem is changing it 🤣
@@Sullzyy 😅😅
