I had this issue too recently and this video was a massive help. I couldn’t unlock any doors as they was deadlocked apart from the drivers side so I got into some pretty questionable positions but it’s all sorted now. Thanks so much!👍🏽
Hey man I want to say thank you for this video. You’re lucky you can open your door when you did this job. I had to lay upside down because my door won’t open. After changing the fuse it worked. Thanks man!
had exactly the same problem, though i was completely locked out. only the boot would open. and even using the physical key in the driver's door didnt work. opened the windows using the key and jumped in to start the car. After the that i could use the physical key to open the drivers door, Then followed your fix above and fixed it all by changing that same fuse. Thanks!!
Great! Just beware, there's likely an underlying issue that has caused the fuse to blow. Possibly a door lock actuator going bad. It would be great if you could comment again if the problem happens again. Thanks
hey thanks a lot for the information. I had exactly the same problem. had to lie upside down to replace the fuse. I all have exactly the same problem with the passenger seat (as you also have in the video) how did you solve it?
Is that middle button the locking central button supposed to lock and open all the doors ? Or just lock them because in my car it just locks all the doors not unlock would that mean a fuse is blown or something thank you man
Great tutorial. My only issue is after replacing the fuse I am getting a brake and 4x4 error. Nothing else was messed with. I have a battery charger hooked up to it as I read it could be because battery drainage. Anything else I should check?
Unfortunately no part 2. The customer didn't want to fix the door lock issue for the left front. The video shows the fix for the central locking not working, however we didn't get the chance to repair the cause. Thanks for watching.
@@FourRingsAuto I'm from Guyana south America and recently took on a job to fix a 2011 jetta Volkswagen was looking for some advice... the jetta not driving so I remove the DSG and found a piston burst.. I had it repaired and the car started to drive after but I was missing a gears and now it won't move again..
I need help pls . It looks so easy but my door got stock on 🔐 and can't open I and due to my back surgery can really get in there and change that fuse any way to open the door first so I can change the fuse??
same issue on my x5 e70 gradually getting worse, on minute it works fine next nothing, so when you've got passenger in you up sh!t creak or want to carry passenger its pretty embarrassing any help
I discovered my issue was with the key. The board separated from the battery enough that the contact was not hood enough to send the signal. This happened of course, after I drooped the key 😢.
Hi hope all is happy n well. I have a problem with my windows. Once I've turned the ignition off & taken out my key , all the windows including the sunroof all open automatically. I have a 07 X5. Can anyone she'd some light on this please. Thanks in advance

Customer didn't want to go further. But the passenger side door lock was erratic in its operation. Was your fuse blowm in the JBE?
Money safer thank You
