My car has an issue is not locking the doors right after a turn off the car, but when the car is moving the central lock button in the car works fine but once I turn the car off it won't respond to the key and also the central lock button inside the car won't work for a couple of mins and then just randomly works after I turn on and off the car a couple times

Now the front passenger side window wont go down or up at all, and both front doors won't unlock by remote. The front left one also doesn't unlock when I use the key but can be manually unlocked and locked. Any ideas? I've checked the fuses I could think of and nothing
Hi have and 06 X5 E53, my driver door locks using key inserted, manually pushing pin down, and unlocks same as well as using handle inside. Inseted key has full functionality will lock unlock driver, and remaining doors, as well as window, moon roof open close .Central lock, and auto lock works on remaining doors... is this a wiring issue to the door ? or from the central lock ? My dad has this same problem on his e53 x5 once he lubricated the actuator it worked for a while and then stopped, he changed the actuator and it still did not solve the problem so I guess it has to be a blown fuse.
My 2004 545i makes the unlock chime when i push the button, but the latches wont go up, so im pretty much locked out of my car even tho it says its open
I have a 135i. My central lock locks both the doors however it does not unlock the doors. I can hear the actuator however the pin doesn’t come up. Since the actuators boy lock I Ume the actuator is ok. Why won’t it unlock the doors?
You will have to take the door panel off and have a look. The actuator does several functions. So if the button isn’t going up it simply might have clipped off. Or that part of the actuator may no longer be working.
Hey Nathan, just a few questions. Is it possible to program a key that is was already programmed? For some reason the key that came with my car became unprogrammed. Also, I was wondering if you could link the box that programs the keys into the description. Thanks man
To program the key Sit in the driver seat make sure both doors are unlocked and closed Put key in ignition Turn key once quickly(just once) Pull out quickly Hold middle lock button and as you hold it press the unlock button 3 times and your key should be programmed

Why it is that people with any BMW issue, be it door locks or almost anything else, NEVER do they describe the issues that lead on....but instead, only answers! For example, my 03, 325XI wagon, in the morning, (lately) (never before) usually, my key pressed to open all, only opens the driver door...not any doors or rear gate including the rear or the glass upper gate.
