- I had never heard of Alter Bridge before. Apparently, it's Creed but with a different front man. This was not the "Blackbird" I thought I'd hear, but it was a good one nonetheless. A passionate performance for sure.

Alter Bridge are just incedible! You need to check out 'Words Darker Than Their Wings' Live from the same show. Also you should check out Cry of Achilles and their entire new album they released last year!
There is no performance of “Words Darker” from this show. Royal Albert Hall was the first live performance.

Myles had the flu for this show. Facts
They both play PRS. Alter Bridge has 7 albums the last of which just came out not too long ago called Pawns and Kings, a fire album. This song is an Alter Bridge classic. The lead guitarist is Mark Tremonti and he has a band of his own called Tremonti with 5 albums under their catalog. Their music is a little bit harder than Alter Bridge. Do yourself a favor and do a deep dive into both bands, you won't be disappointed. They may have started as Creed but became so much more, they became Alter Bridge.
Feel like its important to note Myles was sick during this performance.

Love this song, because of the use of dynamics. Also after 40 years of listening to rock/metal, I still much prefer the 1st part of the guitar solo from Myles, as I still prefer a musical solo to a shredding one, any day of the week. I will take one David Gilmour in exchange of your 10 shredders, thank you very much. HEHE! 😜

This is the worst performance of the song as Myles was sick during the performance
Even at the worst Myles still topped many singers, but i couldn't agree about how it could've been better if he was healthy since the mixing is amazing. That's why this sits in second after the performance in Amsterdam
I actually love this version because it feels more emotional even if his vocals aren't his best. He still sounds miles better than every other hard rock vocalist alive today.
