Thanks from Japan 有難う💛. BABYMETAL will return to USA and go on tour from Nov. thru Dec. to perform 18 concerts at 15 venues. I fortunately witnessed the live debut and the second performance of RATATATA by BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy together in the two-day Fox_Fest on May 25 / 26 in Japan. Fun, happy, exhilarating, bubbly... Those words I could think of, as you can imagine. There were many mosh / circle pits over there 😄. On Day-1, the girls and Nico / Kevin hugged each other (and group hug) to celebrate the success of the live debut (heartwarming!!) ★ You can find the official LIVE video in RUclips !! The song was played in the BABYMETAL's setlist in the festival. So the band in the back of the girls and Nico / Kevin was BM's West Kami Band in place of EC band that played in this MV. On this 50:50 collaboration basis, that was great, too. The interchangeability between the two versatile bands is good. Now the 3 girls and 2 boys are doing this song with EC band in EC shows and with Kami Band in BM shows, in two ways, in some European festivals 💛。 (Just FYI, BABYMETAL also performed "Brand New Day" with Scott and Tim from POLYPHIA in the festival. That was beautiful and soothing.)

this might be the only VB song where i prefer the album version. you miss a lot of lyrics with this version. theres a vans sessions or somehting where he sings both parts live and it kinda works.

You have to watch more of him, he as so many amazing song, i recommend you "Dramaturgy", "last dance" and "Tokyo guetto" first they are 3 old song of him and some of the best mainly "Dramaturgy" wich is one of his most popular song and the lyrics are insane ( but honestly all of his lyrics are captivating ). Then for a change of pace and more recent song with different style and stunning animation i recomment "Hanaarashi", Yousei boushi", "Pray", "kororon" and "Fait at night". ( there is so much more amazing song but for now i'll recomend only that"

This is an album I actually like a lot but not to put on, sit down and listen too. It instead has become one of my fav background music albums.

I'm not sure where BABYMETAL got this reputation of always being serious ... in some MVs like 'Karate' they may look serious, but that is because they are acting, in others like 'Megitsune' they were literally playing, running round and having fun, in 'Iine' they dressed up in hoodies and sunglasses to do a hip hop section, in 'Headbanger' Su was jumping round on a bed (she even fell off), in Metali they were kicking over tea tables having a festival and ended up sitting on top of Tom Morello's guitar smiling and waving. See them live and they're always smiling, having fun, trying to make each other or the Kami Band laugh. Those bits don't make it onto the DVDs I guess. I think both BABYMETAL and Electric Callboy take their music seriously, but they like to enjoy themselves too - and OK EC do deliberately make their videos etc more humorous.

If you'd enjoyed this drum fill you should definitely check out Sleep Token. I know they may be heavy at some points, but they have quieter songs as well and they are very intriguing lyrics. Like Atlantic, Fall for me, Telomeres, Levitate, Blood Sport, Aqua Reagia, Are You Really OK - and of course Euclid (which you should listen to only if you have listened to The Night Does Not Belong To God and maybe more songs). Babymetal caught so much grief in the early years about how they weren't "real metal" and I think that, in part, drove their very serious presentation. I suspect that now that they're older, much more well known, and a trio again at last they'll be able to demonstrate a more playful side. Metali had elements of that as well.

Welcome back to the Foxhole, it's been a while.🦊🤘🐭 This single just reached Number 1 US Billboard rock/metal chart for the first time for both bands! If you see comments talking about how cool was one of the singers turning around at the end, that's a reference to a video reaction they did last week. But the one who really looks cool are oc the ladies striking a pose near the end which is also the pose they used when performing live right from the beginning.💃 Last weekend of May they played this song at FOX_FEST Festival in Japan along with Electric Callboy, everyone went bonkers with this awesome collab of the year and hit of this summer. They recently released the official live if you don't wanna stop and keep pushing it to the limit. Also last weekend played together once again at Rock Im Park in Germany twice, one during EC show and the other one during BM show wearing cool new outfits. After that they played again at Rock Am Ring and we already got cool proshot clips. Yesterday they played this song in Amsterdam but without EC on stage. Pretty sure they will play this at Download Festival too, at least that's my guess. Polyphia were also at FOX_FEST playing a set and the guitarists Tim Henson and Scott Le Page played together with BM the song Brand New Day, they're special guest in the album version, they were looking for this since a very long time ago and also fans waited for this. Next suggestion to enjoy another super collab they did prior to this: - F.Hero x Bodyslam x BabyMetal - Leave It All Behind official MV. Hope to see you around with more BM songs. I saw K.I.Z. perform this song live on a festival last year. Everytime I think back, I get goosebumps. So many people singing the lyrics, acknowledging our broken systemy. Especially the part of "warum soll ich dir was wegnehmen wenn wir alles teilen", i've had literal tears in my eyes. Such a moving moment...
