KG is kind of the full Microtonal version of an Oddments, Gumboot Soup (which has 2 Microtonal tracks) and Omnium Gatherum. I don’t listen to these albums front to back as often as other Gizz albums, but all 4 of these albums mentioned feature some of my all time favorite Gizz tracks
Straws sound really live because of how they recorded the guitars. It's like they were in the middle east or Africa and wondered into a village and came across some local folk playing this tune so they whipped out their smart phone to capture it.
To me it’s another one of the covid political ones particularly about trump. Saying both that his support is weaker than his cult of personality thinks. And then the ending fits with Trump getting voted out, saying that they don’t have a say anymore really fits. “You don't have a say A-a-anymore” “This is to all the people who had it coming If you think you're so many (I'm so lonely)”
There's an interview on RUclips where stu goes through the whole of Honey and explains how he recorded it.
This album is definitely in my top 5 gizz albums. So damn good.
So glad you're back. Best KGLW reaction vids out there! Keep it up, you matter more than you think.

i could be off on this but i recall hearing that stu wrote honey as a ode to his wife i think they were newly married at the time
FYI in English Quebec we say "scarce" with the "scar" pronounciation rather than "scare". A genuine interesting question!
I tack KG and LW together into one bigass double album playlist and in that context, to me, it's truly the biggest and best gizz gets.
was fun glad to have caught the stream

Dude you're the man
I think Minimum Brain Size is about social media and people raging out online against each other. It reminds me of Twitter/X.

The second drummer didn’t really play on Polygondwanaland either. Guessing it was too complex for him.
woo!
K.G's intro could easily be in dune or any movie with a desert
