Thanks for doing this guys knew you would love it! I was fortunate enough to be their, honestly the best gig I have ever attended. The Parallax Orchestra are from the UK, and the conductor had such a fantastic time coming up with the composition, he worked out what he wanted to do and Alter Bridge only had 1 rehearsal believe it or not. You can see how much the members of the Orchestra loved playing it too. Lyrically the song depicts a conversation Myles and Mark had about Faith some Years ago. Mark having strong faith and Myles struggling with it due to how his Father passed many Years ago from appendicitis. His Father was a member of the Christian Science Faith, so wouldn't accept any medical help for his illness because they believed God would save him. In fact Myles solo album reflects much of this and he wrote it as a means of dealing with the emotions from his Childhood when it happened.
As someone mentioned before, anyone loving this should seriously check out the entire concert film made from this event - sounded fantastic and they played many songs across their discography to that point (and many deeper cuts). Meanwhile Myles voice never sounded better! Awesome band!
Alter bridge just doing what they do best being epic , they are my favourite band so I'm biased lol the royal Albert hall cd is fantastic btw what a concert it was . Great reaction sry to hear dad has a bad neck those are no fun at all but good to see him still rocking those drumsticks 🎉 really enjoyed this guys thankyou so much any alter bridge is welcome along with shinedown , those damn crows and CCR 😀
