I've had one failure to extract on this pistol at the range. It had 8 reds in the mag with one in the chamber. The pistol had been collecting Lint and had not been cleaned in months. I simply racked the slide, cleared the empty casing and emptied the rest of the mag. This is a reliable pistol.
Absolutely love my M2... I carry it was the 6 rounder, and keep the other mag as a backup. Never had a a single FTF or FTE on this firearm. It has been one hundred percent reliable for me. I keep it with me everyday.
My experience exactly. I've been carrying out with the six rounder more recently as I tend to wear a t-shirt in the summer. The more compact mag does make just enough of a difference that I prefer it under a t-shirt.
Mine was garbage. Constant malfunctions of all types out the box. Cleaned oiled repeat several times and same thing. I didnt feel like sending it in so I traded it. I hear everyone talk about how reliable it is bet ive seen SO SO many reports online of issues similar to mine. Especially failure to feed which was mines main problem. Fuck that. Im not gambling with that as my main CC. It also choked on all low end ammo and range ammo Basically the only thing it would fire well were high end self defense ammo and even then there were still failure to feeds.
Great review, I’m curious about the barrel rifling of your handgun. I picked up a used PPS M2, previous owner said it had 200-300 rds. It’s in beautiful condition, looks like it’s never been used but the rifling seems really smooth. I’m guessing that’s the way Walther does it. The gun shoots really well too. Other new hand guns you can see and feel the rifling (when the barrel is off the frame). What are your thoughts?
It's always amazing how gun people know about the fad, add on Gun instead of other great pistols out there like the CZ line, HK, Smith, and so on, and so on
I'd certainly recommend trying one out at a range that rents pistols. I prefer the PPS over the Glock offerings, but that may not be true for you if you enjoy a Glock 19. Either the PPS or the 43 will be easier to conceal than the 19. I've heard there's an after market magazine for the Glock 43x (different model than the 43) that lets you fit 15 rounds in a flush fit magazine. If you want a thinner pistol, but a little longer grip and more capacity, I'd give it a look as well.
Long Term Reviews I love my 19 and I shoot it well, but the conceal ability is hard for someone my size. I was reading about single stacks and saw this on, I bought a 43 but did not like the recoil on it or how it felt. Tried the shield and it was ok, shot of these and it was great. Hopefully I’ll pick one up this month
Go for it man. I just secured one today myself. I have the Glock 43X and love it!! Its a Glock. Great grip. But I also wanted this pistol very bad so had to go ahead and get it. I really dont think u can go wrong with either one. Thats why I had to have both. Nothing wrong with having two edc, ccw options. Great for rotation.
Yeah, at some point I need to do a comparison between different types of jeans for pocket carry. If you don't mind me asking, what kind p of pants have you found they fit in?
I've used it for a while now and love it. There are other great guns out there, but I don't regret carrying this one at all. I'm not planning to replace it anytime soon.
Long Term Reviews okay I got ya. When I ask a lot of people they say they love it. Or they ask why get this or spend “that much money” when it’s better options or more popular options with larger after market support. I found one near me for $319 New. I figure I can’t beat that price for good quality like this.
I know this is old but it's a great choice for one's first concealed carry. Ever-so-slightly bigger than a G43 but cheaper and noticeably nicer than Glock. Great trigger and easy to shoot, even with flush 6-round mag. LE edition comes with night sights and an 8-round mag.
They may be independent, but I don't believe it's intended to swap out in the way a Sig P320 is. Walther never made additional grip modules or anything like that. I hope that answers what you were asking! Feel free to ask any follow up questions you may have.
Nice review. I’ve enjoyed my M2 for about 2 years. It’s been 100% reliable. I’m wearing it right now.
Thanks! I'm really not sure how someone could have this gun and not love it. Glad you liked the review!

That's only a field strip, not disassembly.
Seriously
Great review!!! Just purchased mine. I have the Glock 43X. Wanted this too, so went ahead and grabbed one. Cannot wait to get it.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy it.
Love my pps m2 man. Super reliable and easy to carry.
@@Samyouell11510 This is great to hear. It is such a great gun. Do u ever carry yours with the 8 round mag?
I’m not gonna lie I’m a Glock guy so it made sense for me to buy the G43 but after firing this gun man oh man! Walther PPS M2 is my new EDC!

6 round = pocket, 7 round = concealed, 8 round = home defense
If walther shipped with 3 8rd mags be awesome seller
Your post made me feel so good about mine. It is coming with 3 8 round mags.

Polygonal rifling is different than standard rifling. It is why the pps is so dead on accurate.
I have one of these to great gun. As for the video thanks for the effort.
Thanks!
Very well done video! I love my M2 as well.
Thanks! Glad you can relate!
It's always amazing how gun people know about the fad, add on Gun instead of other great pistols out there like the CZ line, HK, Smith, and so on, and so on
Awesome video
Thanks!
Thinking about getting one of these for EDC. My 19 is just getting to become a hassle to carry, heard these are better to shoot than the 43

Right on. I went through a similar process myself and settled on the PPS. Good luck with your search and thanks for checking out my video!
Long Term Reviews of course! Thanks for the great content!

Awesome gun!
Fits fine in my pocket

Buy it it's dope

"Traditional Magazine Release" is the paddle style.
Thumb latch release is American.
I carry this going in my pocket every fits in all my pants pocket
That's cool. What sort of pants are you carrying in? I'm usually in Levis or dress pants.
8rd mags only
Is this a chassis gun? The long rails look independent of the polymer.

The perfect carry gun... Recoil is minimal much better than the g43
It fits in my pocket. Barely, but it fits.
sold my Shield 1.0 for my PPS M2......im not regretting my decision in the least.
Before I tried the Walther I was pretty convinced I'd want the Shield. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to shoot.
I hate my pinky finger
I gave you a thumbs down because of the time you spent on variables in the indeferense in weapons lack of time spent on takedown.
