    That protruding striker is the reason I'm comfortable carrying this AIWB. Put your thumb over the striker on your reholster and you have a tactile indication of any trigger pull, plus a little added resistance to the trigger pull.

    • @Catgat37
      @Catgat37 Год назад

      If you actually hold your thumb over it hard, it is impossible for the trigger to go off

    • @GuardianComplex
      @GuardianComplex Год назад +1

      @@Catgat37 tried it at the range actually, it's not impossible, but it's difficult. Don't trust it infinitely though. Still gotta be careful.

      @@GuardianComplex oh for sure. Draw fast, reholster slow. It is a nice safety feature though.

    My LE came with the 8 round mag and glow in the dark sights-- plus, imho, way better ergos than the Shield! Totally worth it! 🖒😎

    I’m glad I picked this up for cheap, it just feels so good in the hand and shoots better than a Glock 43 for me. The 7 round Mags are so comfortable.

    After getting a Q4 SF, I want Walther to offer all of their handguns with a steel frame. PPS, PDP....etc. Nobody asked for a steel frame version of the PPQ, but it was an incredible decision on Walthers part.

    My first concealed carry. Since 2016 until now 2020 carl walther police pistol slim M2 L.E law enforcement edition. I love it with vedder light tuck IWB. Carbon fiber holster follow by critical depense flextip/hollow point. its amazing single stack, german craftsmanship you cant go wrong with walther baby quality and accuracy.

    I own one of these. Excellent firearm, but a tad bigger than I like for only 6 Round magazine.
    The quality, as Alan pointed out, is excellent. I own several single stack striker fire 9 mm guns
    S&W Shield, Kahr CW9, Bersa BP9, Kahr PM9, and SigP365. Only the Kahr PM9 comes with a six round magazine. It is considerably smaller than the Walther. Having said all this, I will never sell the Walther. To good a shooter.

    Still the best. It will remain my EDC. Especially since it is at 0900. My Smith & Wesson Shield 45 is at 0300. Nothing is getting past that. When in bear country, I carry a Smith & Wesson 686 .357 instead of the .45acp.
    Btw, always have a large fixed blade knife on you in bear, moose, deer, cougar country.

    I have one i sent it in for the recall and it came back with a gritty horrible 9.5 lb trigger. After 75 rounds the trigger safety stopped working . If you put any pressure on it at all and released it the safety would not re-engage. I sent it back to Walthers and got it back in less than a week. I went out and put 50 rounds through it and it was fine. I took it out again and put another 30 rounds through it. I started checking the trigger and the trigger safety was not re-engageing again. I sent it back last Wednesday. They received it Friday and they shipped it out yesterday. I should receive it tomorrow. Hopefully they finally fixed it. I have to admit I'm not impressed with their service department.

    Honestly it was a very accurate pistol. Problem I had that it was darn near as heavy as my H&K and way too thin. To the point where it would slide in my hand. Nice but traded for P30sk with 10 rounds.

  • @christianzale505

    The reassembly part is weird because PPS m2 slide will go back on with the trigger back or forward!

    I have this gun....no trigger manipulation is necessary for reassembly and it is not mentioned in the manual of arms. In addition, they do NOT recommend trigger manipulation for disassembly.

  • @hubu8298
    @hubu8298 4 года назад +1

    The magazine release is not reversible! The magazines are cut on both sides, and you could theoretically reverse it, but its not symmetrical and can't flip over. I have actually looked into it: the "walther" mags it comes with are actually made in Italy (I'm guessing a subcontract by metcar), so they may have just put the cut assuming you could, but you can't. I even called walther and asked if they had one I could order: they don't. As a southpaw this has been my biggest gripe with this, though it is still my edc, I've learned to work around it, as many lefthanded shooters have. I have looked for a third party after market release and can't find one, it would be pretty easy to make though, you would just have to make a mirror image version. IF ANYONE KNOWS OF SOMEONE MAKING ONE, PLEASE POST HERE OR MESSAGE ME!!!

    Is it true that the PPS M2 9mm shoots a little softer than the Shield 9mm? Thanks!

    • @christianzale505
      @christianzale505 3 года назад +1

      Yes it does because it’s slightly heavier. You can especially tell the difference when shooting real carry loads in them.

      Yes it does. Owned the 365, G43 and Shield both original and 2.0 and I still enjoy the Walther PPS M2 the best. Very manageable almost feels like an actual compact
