Talk about loc envy! What a beautiful head of hair. This is one of the fluffiest and best head of locs I've ever seen! DXLYN...you just do great work💙💙💙.
Beautiful! Her hair is the reflection of the positive energy she had during her journey. Our hair is connected to the universe and she was rewarded beautifully! Peace and blessing
This is how I want my locs. I just started my 3rd set 3 weeks ago...and I expressed that I did want around 200 locs, for the fullness!!! But I don't think I have that many, and I'm kinda worried they're going to be small...I want fluffy, full, voluminous, juicy locs. You're gonna make me jump on a plane and just come to you! I've been following for a little while and I love that you use no product for retwisting...Currently dealing with a bad reaction to the gel that was used on mine...Sigh. Your work is just beautiful.
Tasha and Dxlyn come through!!!!! These locks are too beautiful! I'm amazed. Tasha, get the RUclips channel popping ASAP!!! We would love to support you and follow your journey. And please also let us know how you lightened your hair without bleach. I liked the color and would like to do something similar. I prefer having black roots and color on my ends instead of color on my roots.
@@DXlocs it really does help to have a loctician that allows the clients freedom (within reason) with their own hair. It just makes the process so much easier, thank you for that. My hair is in loc'ing bliss because of you! 😍
DXLYN locs ☺️, those hands are just so blessed! 🙌🏾🙏🏾👏🏾 . It is very apparent why your clients locs have progressed so well; you can sense her confidence through the images shared, she embraced her natural hair through the transition and has continued to do that throughout the journey with your nurturing, tendering and guidance. Keep sharing the exemplary work 😍. Au revoir (I did French at school decades ago, I hope this serves well as an exit salutation)?!
A. Iverson It will. Less is more. I have been locd 3 years and I have 181 locs. I don’t use gels or waxes either and mine is fluffy. It makes a difference
Stop turning the comments off for Zion! I’m ready to compliment you on lil man😭😭 I love the way you do his locs & his set But I do understand he’s your son & want the best for him ❤️
Just letting you know... An experienced Loctician can install a parting system for you if you ever desired it. I had a head of sisterlocs (over 400 locs), got sick and couldn’t get a retie for a year... A Loctician reinstalled my grid like it was nothing while she handled my new growth. I was in shock! I didn’t even ask her too... She just threw down. Either way, happy locking!
Ughhhhh I see that you're in Orlando. I'm in Miami, ok at least you're only few hours from me. Orlando is lucky to have you! Ok maybe one day I'll book an appointment.
Thank you for sharing her journey, especially with her starting locs with transitioning hair. I'm currently a month in and have started with transitioned hair. Her hair looks very healthy and full!
Her hair looks so amazing 😍 I remember when u started it I was wondering how’d it looks fully locked. Then you did her 1 yr update and I was like 😍 but now omg do luscious
I love how you described her experience, it telling of the compassion you have for your crafy💙 her locs are gorgeous Toshia, start that youtube channel!!!
Love the hair. And Love your videos. I was inspired by your videos to start my loc journey my hair is not quite long enough yet. Just waiting on it to grow a little longer.
I just locd my hair it will be 1 month September 20 2020 she really motivated me even more I chose to loc my hair because I want to embrace my personal journey with the loc process.
Beautiful hope I just start 3 months I rushed the lock with crochet natural hair look at her starting out My hair is little longer then her starter her size is the same size but this made me confident 👌
Beautiful journey! You did a wonderful job on her locs :) Looking at this makes me want to start my second set asap! I'm just torn between traditional parting and diamond parting.
Exceptional growth over the past 2yrs. Love your loc journey thus far. What products have you been using to mainatin your locs? What is your daily regimen?
Just stay patient and trust the journey. My locs unraveled in different sections all the way up to my year and like six to eight months for my fronts to loc. Sleep with something on your head at night you’ll be smooth.
I was able to keep majority of my locs from unraveling mainly because I barely touched them. I never washed my own hair in the starter phase, I went to @dxlynlocs for a wash. I tied my hair down every night with a durag. Just try to interact with them as little as possible and you should be fine. 🙂
What did she use for gel to keep it firm? I just started one month ago, i don't put gel by myself, unless when it gets wash in the beauty salon. Where do you leave? I would love to be your client😂.
Oh wow! Her hair is so beautiful... I am on my second loc journey what do you recommend for moisture... I am a barber STYLIST and I'm having a hard time finding what works to keep my hair moisturized but can seem to take great care of my clients hair lol! I have 4 c hair it seems like it soaks up everything!!! I do not use product to retwist my hair only water and caster oil... I also eat a very specific diet and drink plenty of water... from one stylist to another HELP🥴
I used to say I like neat looking dreads but not on me but after being natural for 5+ years I permed it and within a year I big chopped again now that I’m natural again I no longer is interested in doing my natural hair as I’m becoming older in age, I’m currently looking for a professional loctition in the Pittsburgh area to do my starter locs I’m just too lazy to do it myself 🤦🏾♀️
Wow I couldn’t achieve this at all. I have soft hair and the stylist that start my Locs did 160 Locs and they were to thin and started breaking so I combined some and still need to combine a few so my Locs can be thick. I might comb them out and restart
Have you thought about interlocking instead of retwisting? Also, are you doing a lot styles or manipulating your hair a lot? How often do you get your hair retwisted? These could all lead to thinning locs. It doesn’t mean it’s your loc sizing
I need to sit in your chair for you to do my starter locs ... 😍😍😍
Same here, but I'm way out in Jamaica *sighs

@Andrina Williams thank you 🙂
Her locs are beautiful. They look so full, healthy, and soft. I was definitely loc crushing at the clips of her hair after it was washed 😍

My stylist stopped using gel on my retwists a year ago. I never realized how effective using just oil during a retwist was.
Hi... Yes please talk about starter locs and the different patterns.
Dreadlocks all day baby!

Beautiful... Water and oil i love it. When i retwist my own that’s all i use.... but i also semi freeform as well.
Me as well
Thank you 🙂
Naturally Beautiful does your retwist tend to last ?
Chara Boston 2 weeks the most if I tie my hair up at night.
I nust use water and a towel (or sponge) and I put oil in it for moisture
My goodness! I thought these were extensions! So full and gorgeous!
Omg she has the best 200 locs I have ever seen. My hair is thick like hers too but I’m not sure if I want that many but I love the volume wow
Thank you. The strange thing is when I look at my hair it 200 doesn't look like a lot to me. I kind of want more. Lol
Tye your so welcome
I have 181 but my hair is so thick, if they were bigger my locs would be huge!

Spray your scalp every morning with aloe vera juice. You can make your own aloe vera juice, or you can buy the gallon of aloe vera juice at Walmart. 😀
