WELL DONE,YOU ARE ACTUALLY THE FIRST PERSON I CAME ACROSS DOING A RETWIST WITHOUT PUTTING A COMB IN IT,AND I MUST COMMEND YOU FOR THAT. I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND ALL THESE OTHER PPL OUT THERE WHO DO A RETWIST WITH A COMB,IF U WANT UR HAIR TO LOCK WHY WILL U COMB THROUGH THEM?.... I LOVE YOUR VIDEO
Yes, more updates please. Her locs are gorgeous and you’re doing a wonderful job. You’re also knocking down the product myth that it is necessary for hold, locking, or aesthetic appearance and loc retwist maintenance. I like how you drive home the point that it is about technique, not product. Very educational and informative as usual. Your clients locs are always on point.
Girl, you make me want to have you cut my Locs, and start all over again. I just 💜💜 you so much! Y’all, She’s everything you see in her videos and more! I was so HAPPY when I found out that this young lady lived in the same state and city as me from watching all of her videos. She’s Amazing. She didn’t start my hair, but she’s been taking care of my hair for about a year now. I’m not even 2yrs yet, and my hair is so long now. I wish I could post a picture... She’s the BEST EVER HANDS DOWN!
Wish you were in Cali was considering locs and after watching your videos I realized that you can’t have anyone who claims to do locs start your locs. You’re so informative!!! And you can tell that you love what you do and that’s the type of person I’d prefer in my hair!!!!! I’ve come across a lot of stylist who are in it I feel for the glits and instagram likes. A real stylist can look at someone and because of the true knowledge and genuiness they have for you and your hair they can make suggestions w/o any problem. I have no clue about locs but through research and finding an outstanding stylist I hope to learn more !!!! Thank you so much. Love the parting on her hair too 😍
I started my locs myself and at first I was worried I made them too small, but seeing many of your clients have significantly more and being able to have healthy hair makes me feel better. : ) (I only have 96)
You are amazing,. I just started my locs and you mentioned about be careful who is doing your hair because they can twist locs together because of laziness and that's one of my fears. I wish you were in WA.....
I love, love, love this!!! I'm also a little over 4 months into my loc journey so I love would more updates on this client's journey! I also love how you styled her locs! I haven't tried styling yet, so maybe now I will! Thanks a lot! ❤
Love watching her journey. Im 9 yrs locked and have only just started washing my hair bi-weekly,i like it!. Good in the summer heat, hair takes to long to dry in the UK winter so less washes.
I wish you were doing my locs. Me baby locs are 3 months and the lady that does my locs used oils to retwist them, but this time she used a little beeswax in the oil. I will start doing my locs from now on.
Really enjoyed this video. Her hair is gooooals. Lol my hair is longer than hers tho. I'd definetly try this hairstyle. It looks super cute and very easy to achieve . Great vid!!!
Hi loc queen very lovely healthy great length at 4mths ! Ur doing a brilliant job with ur clients you tube etc. Thank you queen stay healthy wise & strong !
Your clients are so lucky to have you, you seem to do everything with care and understanding. I have mature locs with loose hair at the roots, I like the no gel retwist but am always afraid to put oil on my scalp because I have oily skin any thoughts?
Yes more updates on her please. Also can you post the compilation video link. My daughter got her starter locs with ors lock and twist and body of eden jelly, but I would like from here on out to be product free, so your videos help me to show the beautician what I want. Between retwist I have her using rosewater and vitamin oil 50/50 mixture. But was thinking for retwist a heavier oil like castor's oil would be best as she has 4c high porosity hair. Can you tell what you think?
I'm just over 3 months in with my 3rd set of locs. I'm loving this crazy, unruly, wild stage of my baby locs. I wash every 2-3 weeks and get my retwist done every 4-5 weeks. Eventually I'll maintain it on my own once I've got a little more length to make it easier for me. Anywho, love this video (but I love all your vids!)
Can I do this technique on mature locs as well? Im 5 years in & Im mid back length. Im trying to look into healthier ways to take care of my hair because my stylist is so product heavy & its causing a little thinning
The wench who started mine did the parts so damn big. She really ruined my experience and now I don't know what's true and correct. I Don't want big ass locs. I'm almost 6 months loc'd and I'm incredibly worried. Nobody in austin does locs the way I've seen other places.
Greetings Queen... thank you for this video. This is my second loc journey after having them for 11 years. The first time I was obsessed with looking neat and would retwist too often. My question is in the babyloc stage, how often should I retwist. I realize everyone's hair is different but I just don't want to over do it. Thanks.
Tia-Marie it would be an 2hours long lol. I have parts where I don’t speed up to show exactly what I’m doing. Once I’ve shown it a few times I speed up to make the vid more digestible. Any part that’s sped up should have a normal speed before it.
Good morning. I’ve heard that salt water helps the locking process. There are soooo many misconceptions out there. Do YOU recommend this or is this or is this just silly?
As always, such beautiful work. What would you call the style that you gave her? Would it be considered a barrel roll? I really need to learn how to do that on my hair.
What do you suggest I do between retwist for my hair when it comes to moisture? My hair is very greedy lol. I have my own hair spray I've made myself consisting of natural oils and water. I was told i should oil my hair every other day or as needed to keep it healthy and maintain natural hair sheen . . .
Hi! I try to follow your videos because I started two stand twists on my son’s hair and for some reason when I attempt to retwist I can’t get the roots to stay tight they unravel soon after I clip them. Have you seen this happen before?
WELL DONE,YOU ARE ACTUALLY THE FIRST PERSON I CAME ACROSS DOING A RETWIST WITHOUT PUTTING A COMB IN IT,AND I MUST COMMEND YOU FOR THAT. I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND ALL THESE OTHER PPL OUT THERE WHO DO A RETWIST WITH A COMB,IF U WANT UR HAIR TO LOCK WHY WILL U COMB THROUGH THEM?.... I LOVE YOUR VIDEO

I love, love, love this!!! I'm also a little over 4 months into my loc journey so I love would more updates on this client's journey! I also love how you styled her locs! I haven't tried styling yet, so maybe now I will! Thanks a lot! ❤

I like that she is concerned about the health of her hair. Wish she was my stylist.
Love your work it's just a pity you are so far away 😔 I'm in FLA
Love watching her journey. Im 9 yrs locked and have only just started washing my hair bi-weekly,i like it!. Good in the summer heat, hair takes to long to dry in the UK winter so less washes.
I live for your videos!!! I'm praying for a way to get to you. You're seriously like the LOC GODDESS!
These are beautiful... wishing I’d tried these instead of sisterlocks!
I wish you were doing my locs. Me baby locs are 3 months and the lady that does my locs used oils to retwist them, but this time she used a little beeswax in the oil. I will start doing my locs from now on.
Her locs are beautiful!
Really enjoyed this video. Her hair is gooooals. Lol my hair is longer than hers tho. I'd definetly try this hairstyle. It looks super cute and very easy to achieve . Great vid!!!
I’d love to see more updates as well. Thank you for the education you provide.
I'm a month and a half into my journey, I just retwisted using your method and it looks great!

You are awesome!! Wish you were in the Virginia area 👸🏾❤️🙏🏽😘
I love her hair! My locs are small too and I despise interlocking😫! Great vid! Thanks for sharing.
Shes so beautiful.. healthy skin #natural
Love your technique. I would like to see more how to style locs videos. Thanks.
Is that the Diamond parting? If so, very cute.
Do you have any video of super short starter loc? Cuz mine is SUPER Short and I'd like to see your technique with starting locks with short hair
Your clients are so lucky to have you, you seem to do everything with care and understanding. I have mature locs with loose hair at the roots, I like the no gel retwist but am always afraid to put oil on my scalp because I have oily skin any thoughts?
Jackie Bedward I too have oily skin. I just keep it light with whatever I put on it.
DXLYN locs Ok, thanks.
I miss this stage of my locs😍
Love the updates & style!
So beautiful. Im so nervous when it come to starting my locs.

Hey I was wondering if you could do a retwist video from start to finish without speeding it up?
Tia-Marie it would be an 2hours long lol. I have parts where I don’t speed up to show exactly what I’m doing. Once I’ve shown it a few times I speed up to make the vid more digestible. Any part that’s sped up should have a normal speed before it.
Great job
Super cute style!
Did u mix the almond oil in the spray bottle with the water?
Do you have styles for short dreads?

Good morning. I’ve heard that salt water helps the locking process. There are soooo many misconceptions out there. Do YOU recommend this or is this or is this just silly?

Like the fact that you did not use anything but water and olive oil.
Awesome turnout definitely more updates on her hair
Although you retwist her hair once a month, is it okay to retwist every 2 weeks after washing?

Hi! I try to follow your videos because I started two stand twists on my son’s hair and for some reason when I attempt to retwist I can’t get the roots to stay tight they unravel soon after I clip them. Have you seen this happen before?
It happens. He may need more drying time. Than usually happens due to moisture.
