As someone who is starting with short starter locs, seeing this woman's journey is very inspiring!

When she said “227 locs” I almost fainted 😩. I couldn’t imagine sitting there getting 227 locs retwisted. More power to her though the locs turned out amazingly.

Absolutely beautiful! I love the fullness. Please more of these updates of your clients. I know it takes time to film and edit so I truly appreciate it. Update: I'm at my 1 year mark and I have around the same amount of locs as Pedly and my loctician only interlocked the stubborn ones that refused to loc due to the softer texture. Other than that it's most palmed rolled.

This is the best method in my opinion. I started my locs just like this 23 years ago and didn't have any product buildup nor did I lose the strength of my locs.

You're an honest and very good loctican. I like what you said about respecting the client, integrity, and not combining locs with out their consent . I wish you were located in NYS. I'm currently in my loc journey. I started a week ago. Keep up the great work! s

Will my loc be thicker if I don’t retwist the whole loc ? Trying to see what I should do. A lady did my hair yesterday and it’s flawless but it a) hurts a little (that alone I won’t be going back ) b) my hair dries fast after shampooing she never rewet or even dampen my hair so she was basically retwisting on dry hair c) she left me under the dryer too long . My hair was already DRY! And I believe between the clips being hot and the dryer being too short for me(it was literally on my scalp ) my scalp is not happy rn. I maintained my first set but I can’t fit the life of me figure out what I did to maintain them smh oh and she called my hair raggedy and tuff 🤣🤣 it was so ignorant. I think I might make a story time

Hey lady! I have been watching your videos for sometime now and always enjoy them. Thanks for what you do! Quick question. I’ve been locked for a year and three months now. A month ago I decided to interlock my hair because half of the length of my lock simply wasn’t locking. I was washing every three weeks and retwisting every six weeks. It was so frustrating. I don’t want to maintain my locks by interlocking I just wanted to get that half of my lock locked. What should I do now to encourage my hair to loc going forward?

Ok, what state are you in cuz I need to fly over and let you do mine! I had micro locs for only two months and they started breaking from the center. My beautician could only guess why it was happening and thought strengthening might help. But I couldnt wait a couple more months to see if that was the case as I knew once they loc I'd have no other choice but to cut my hair off and I didn't want to do that. So I took my time and in about 4 days I had them all out. But I really like this style. Maybe I can practice and do them myself?
