Lyrics:
UNDER ATTACK
from afar their eyes are on us
spying every move
beyond distant moons
coming nearer with every year
observing every man and beast
from the north, south, west and east
blind to their deadly plan
to bring life on earth to an end
no one left to take the reins
they'll strike without a single warning
to raid the galaxy
these ruthless enemies
who o o o---we are under attack
but giving up is not an option
who oooo-can we fighting it back?
their war machines are merciless
this armageddon from the skies
we are ants before their eyes
their path is paved with victims blood
their savage hearts are cold as ice
they'll make us clones and slaves
who o o o---we are under attack
but giving up is not an option
who o o o - how can we fight back?
and they've come for man’s destruction
who o o o---we are under attack
but giving up is not an option
who oooo-can we fighting it back?
demoniac intelligence
thinks killing´s justified
filled with grief and pain

Great tune! As allways Michael an Ace on Guitarr.

Congratulations my colleague By Sophia Strauss composer ❤️🇵🇹🇩🇪
Oh, we're colleagues, I'm a composer, too 😉
...I wish to hear Gary or Graham on this album.
Much of Michael Schenker's material over the last half-century has come from a romantic Jules Verne and H. G. Wells perspective as well as a perhaps naive progressive post-World War Two point of view, but it's good to see that he's applying that knowledge towards a realistic vission of the future as well. He is not "just another guitar player"; he is much more than that.
Que gran canción 👍
Der Meister hat es drauf!
Great record 🤘
Стоит признать, что это круто!
ganz warm bin ich noch nie mit Michaels Solokarriere geworden, aber das hier ist durchaus hörenswert. 👍
just Perfect 4me 👌
Unico e inemitabile
Michael Schenker like fine wine gets better with age. Bringing in Ronnie Romero is pure genius. He is the best vocalist in hard rock today.
Genius? Really? The guy is average at best and has grossly oversaturated himself in just a few years. Have you heard Jorn Lande? Russell Allen? Roy Khan? Michael Kiske? Tommy Karevik? Zahir Zorgati? John Arch? Ray Alder? Jay Buchanan? Ted Leonard? Joey Tempest? Joe Lynn Turner? Glenn Hughes? Dino Jelusick? How about Robin McAuley? All of them sing circles around Romero.
@@crusheverything4449 he should have got the dude who sings in the last in line band
The chorus "but giving up is not an option" seems like being sung by Klaus Meine😅😅🤘
99,9% :-)
This vocal performance is technically impeccable, but has so much life in it as in those alien robots...
Really nice, but I still hope for a new MSG album with McAuley.
At this point that would be my first preference to sing with Michael. He still sounds amazing
The Black Swan albums are amazing.
@@fredbergstrom4866 He does! 👍🏻
@@FamilyPaw Thank you so much! Didn't know about Black Swan.
Besides Black Swan (Excellent) McAuley's solo album "Standing on the Edge" last year was a good listen, and he is working on a follow--up for this year or possibly early next year.
Only one is Michael Schenker.
The star of this number is the production - it's excellent. It's good to see a "name" band getting this right, because some them don't! However the price is that it lacks the raw edge and Hard Rock aggression of classic MSG tunes. Schenker's guitar parts are as usual excellent. The vocals are adequate, but the weak link in the song is the lyrics - preachy and corny. Nevertheless, overall it's an enjoyable enough Melodic Rock optional extra. My Score: Good 3*
Preachy and corny? The US empire/war machine has over 800 military bases in the world. Currently occupying a third of Syria, supporting the Saudis genocide in Yemen. Overthrow of the democratically elected president of Ukraine in 2014 the US started a proxy war against Russia. Check out US involvement in Libya, Somalia, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, is the Judas Priest song "Never a hero" from "Firepower" is that corny and preachy? Actually Michael Schenker has grown spiritually in the last five years. Resurrection, Revelation, Immortal. It's refreshing and uplifting to hear bands singing about real issues.
@@stephensdygert7600 I don't think it's preachy since it's not based on our world. Sci-fi lyrics about a force looking to destroy mankind and raid the galaxy from many moons away. Nothing to do with the U.S.
@@trencher7 All war since the end of WW II has to do with US and the Satanic industrial war complex. The Arms manufacturers(merchants of death) just made 40 billion dollars. Michael Schenker's song, is talking about today! Here on this brutal planet(Alice Cooper would call it)
@@stephensdygert7600 Nope. It's a sci-fi themed song and quite clearly fiction talking about hostile aliens that want to destroy the planet and all life on it from the distance of many moons.
@@trencher7 No its not. It's talking about technology used by America, Russia, and China in the second heaven. Will there be a war in the third heaven between God Almighty and Satan and the fallen angels. Absolutely. No weapons. If you think this song is talking about sci-fi, so be it. If you email Michael Schenker, I guarantee you, he not talking about sci-fi.
Fuk yeah!!
Excellent song specially the voices. The end of the world is coming us. 🖖🏻🖖🏻🖖🏻🖖🏻
Is this about the stonecutters ❓🙂
WOW fantastic my colleague By Sophia Strauss 🇩🇪🇵🇹
Why does schenker always go for these BLAND BORING SINGERS .crap song but great guitar as always ?
Romero has very good voice , his singing fits well to this song
yes kind of generic ,but great voice
All good, sounds like a theme for a movie. Professionally composed. Polished, however not the EDGE of the UFO days or close. The uniqueness/individuality and character is just out the window. Michaels guitar playing however instantly recognizable
Wenn ich das höre wünsche ich mir sofort MC Auley zurück furchtbar!!
ん?これマイケル歌ってる?
It’s Ronnie Romero, but Michael would definitely be an improvement, even though he doesn’t sing.
The song isn't bad at all and grows on you with a few listens; that sentiment can be applied to the album as a whole. That being said I really feel like the songwriting could have been better complemented with somebody like Robin McAuley on vocals. I'm very far from being a lyrics snob on anything but the vocals from Romero on this album are rather simplistic and at times a bit nonsensical. While a lot of listeners seem to refer him as a modem vocal dynamo Romero comes across as generic and samey to me. After this tour runs its' course I do hope that Michael chooses McAuley or Barden to front his next album, or if he wants somebody new and a fresh voice with better lyrics maybe utilize Dino Jelusick.
...just bring Gary Barden back!!!
@@robertfitrzyk421 - Barden couldn’t sing live forty years ago and he’s far worse now. He also looks like a corny, finger-snapping, geriatric lounge singer wearing a Ted Nugent mask. No thanks! Romero was way over-saturated before he sang on this album and Doogie isn’t a good fit with Michael, IMO. McAuley is the man for the job. He still sings the same as ever and hasn’t pimped himself out to a hundred other acts.
@@crusheverything4449 I saw Graham bonnet couple of years ago . Sounded decent
@@crusheverything4449 let's face it Phil Moog was the best singer he ever played with period.
@@jerrywoods4066- It’s Mogg and I believe he and Michael made the best songwriting duo of each of their careers, which is why UFO is the best example of what each was capable of achieving.
lyrics a little meh.
za delikatne słabe
Schwach , ist aber immer Geschmachssache
Terrible producer! Schenker's Guitar is lost in the mix and Romero's voice is better than that!
Omg! This is TERRIBLE !! I'm 52 years old, so I grew up and LOVE guitarists like Michael Schenker, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, etc etc. 100% !! However... this Production is terrible, with a generic arrangement and the stupid, cliche lyrics sound like they were written by a 15 year old on lunch break after too many bong hits. Wow. What a let down this is. Michael's playing is, as always, excellent, so my comment is only in reference to the song itself, not Michael's incredible guitar talent.
You're right this Fookin Sux
Some of it is little better than some of the stuff he's put out lately
