    I plan on buying one of these but would much rather have a hammer version.

    I've had mine for maybe 6 months, now, and I'm completely happy with it. As mentioned, it's beautifully finished, shoots straight, I like the chamfered cylinder chambers, and while the trigger pull is not light, I think it's very smooth and appropriate for a self-defense revolver. The walnut grip appears to be the same Altamont model that comes with the Colt Python.

      I want a .357. The 605 T.O.R.O. is on my list of test guns 👍🏽 thanks for watching!

    The 605 5 rd. 357/38spl. also comes in an executive grade birds head grip and platinum finish , any of the small frame grips can be changed from two finger or three finger rubber grip or three finger birds head to the full target grip in wood . After market grips from Peirce or Altamonte can be an option.

      While I agree that you can make something similar from a 605, I think that you'd still be missing the things that set the executive grade apart from the regular lineup. Most notably you'd still be missing all of the internal trigger work that goes into the executive grade, which makes it so nice to shoot. Thanks for watching!

    The grips the EG are too wide for a lot of speed loaders to get clearance. They also rattle a bit. Otherwise, the revolver is good.

    Imagine an executive grade 627 tracker that’s what I’d like to see 🤙

    When you replaced the front sight, does it go out left to right, or right to left when you are holding it in the grip.

      I drove the pin out going from right to left, and inserted the new pin also from right to left. Thanks for watching!

    My 2-inch model 856 spurless Hammer also has a great double action only trigger pull, for a Brazilian made revolver that has never had any work done on the action. Smooth!😊😊😊😊😊

      Can you recommend some good ammo for the 856?

    • @johneaston2891
      @johneaston2891 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@DERDM I myself am a federal or a hornaday guy, I do not reload my own ammunition, so like I said I spend my money on Federal or hornaday. With modern-day bullet designs I don't even use plus P ammunition I just use standard pressure stuff, after all it's a 2in lightweight little revolver. Always remember this, I hit with a BB is better than a Miss with a cannonball! May your bullet always hit its mark my friend!

      I've only dry fired a K6S once when they first came out, so I honestly can't remember. I'll update if I get one in for review though. Thanks for watching!

    Upgrade the executive with a Galloway spring kit for 15bux

      I did a spring kit in my standard 856 and really liked it. Tbh this one doesn't need it. Thanks for watching!
