Thanks for Posting the Skokie FD. I rarely see them on youtube and they are a very interesting and a good fire department. They have a great collection of apparatus and they have more on order.
No problem! Been doing a lot of different stations lately and it’s very nice to have someone be satisfied of a more up to date catch- although if I’m correct there’s a handful of videos of Skokie especially station 18 which is the busiest by a long shot compared to station 16 and 17. Unfortunately Station 18 all their rigs are pretty old (below 2010) than the others which lie above 2010, but I got to agree the new paint scheme makes it so much better!

They couldn’t give ya any siren? How rude! Also whoever left the door open is probably cleaning the rat toilets.
They can’t do sirens because this part of the road is residential and behind me is a rehab center- it’s essentially a “no siren zone” although they probably could’ve hit the siren in a low tone. I didn’t notice but the door was closing but ended up opening again- might’ve been some mistake
@@metraforce441good thing they have that traffic light there, leaving the house is probably when you need the siren the most on a busy street
