@@intheshoptv Well deserved and a great build, I built a '66 C20 fleetside and still sick that I had o sell it a while back and know what a daunting task a build is. I'm currently budgeting for a '55-'57 3100 build.

It lives! Did I see that right, are those flowmaster mufflers? They dont have that droning hollow sound like usual and sound quieter than normal.
You did! They are Flowmasters inexpensive line of mufflers under the name “Flow FX by Flowmaster” Instead of the traditional chambered design that you described that they’re known for, these are kind of a Magnaflow design. They are a straight through muffler with glasspacked case for sound absorption but maximum flow. Yeah, they are very deep sounding in person but not really loud at all. You can carry a normal conversation while standing next to them without raising your voice. Admittedly, Id like to hear a louder muffler while goofing off and reving up here in the shop, but I’ll probably really like these while driving. They were only like $50 so the price doesn’t sting too bad if I want to swap and try different things in the future

Lower output on the alternator is less work load. It may help it last longer. Not sure if that's the reason they programmed it like that. Usually less work means more longevity. "Usually" lol
Yes and supposedly extending battery life by not over charging. We shall see!

Friggin awesome brother!!! I wanted to get a BP Automotive control pack originally for my Ls3 swap. I'm still a little ways from that step. I am on the cylinder heads now. I was planning on running a 6L90E trans but the core I bought to rebuild is trash. Over half of the internals are trashed. It's going to cost alot to fix it. The parts are high. I may just find a low milage 6L80E instead. May your engine sounds great!!!
Thanks man, it feels good! Not sure where you live but there’s a guy in Georgia that has a bunch of 6L80’s & 6L90’s used. He guarantees them and typically gets between $800-$1200.
