Great series Mike, I started at the beginning of your build to this video. What made me enjoy your series so much was how you encompassed the entire voyage of rebuilding a truck which includes the need for tools, that you never needed so never acquired them. Great series and I look forward to seeing the body of this 3100 straight, painted and proudly cruising the streets as it once did in her past glory years!
@@intheshoptv Anticipation is an incredible drug. I hope you've educated yourself a little, have the right tools, and lots of patience. If I could pull i off you definitely can. You got this Mike!

So many comments thinking its copper lol. Its not copper. When you see copper colored brake lines, they are either copper/zinc coated steel, or NiCopp (nickel copper).

This is exactly the video that I needed to see.
Thank you for sharing.
Glad I could help brother!
Love your videos, from Australia
Thank you sir! Much appreciated
Always good to see brakes being covered. It's amazing how many people will spend $$$ on go fast parts and completely ignore their brakes.
Yessir. Brakes and fuel delivery are two areas that require full attention in my eyes.

@@intheshoptv YES!!
Glad you didn’t take the easy route and use a union on the long piece that goes across the frame. Well done!
I try to avoid unions whenever possible. Although sometimes its probably not possible.

Why copper seems sketchy????

did you flair the line and forget the fitting...... it gets me everytime. The last time I put it on backwards.
Hahaha, I’ve done that sooooo many times. Not this time though thankfully. Im getting better lol
Is that copper?
No sir, its nicopp. More flexible like copper, but not soft like copper. Its quickly becoming the number one choice for doing brake lines.
@@intheshoptv I've not heard of it.
I need to get back in the loop. Thank you.
@@Hjfvvdst its good stuff, you’ll like working with it, plus it doesn’t rust out
@@intheshoptv I definitely will give it a try. Thanks!
@@Hjfvvdst Thank YOU for watching
Using copper tubing for brake lines is a BIG NO NO.
Good thing Im not using copper tubing!!
