Welcome to my channel I unbox guns in short video format. I focus on what manufacturers include in their packaging but also discuss minor details or features of the platform. I hope you'll subscribe. Let me know if there are any particular unboxings you'd like me to do.
Miller Gun Company
Awesome unboxing video. These build kits are pretty cool.
I agree man! They really are.
nice video ! sorry i havent wached your videos in quite a while, i rarely get them in my feed unforrtunately 🙂
I got a 14.5 super duty upper. It's way bad ass.
I just finished my Geissele build kit. Super high quality except for the crappy “Super Configurable Safety”. That thing is a pita to take apart. I actually built 2 of them and both were the same for the safety. I could NOT remove the long side at all. I’m a lefty so would have been nice to move the long side over to the right. Otherwise, awesome rifle.
Where can I buy this I can’t find it on brownells website
Can a piston system fit in super duty rail?
I recently purchased a Super Duty in the DDC finish, but my QD point on the handguard does not have that ring around it like yours does. I'm new to AR's so sorry if It's a dumb question!
Ohh it’s all good man! Not a dumb question at all!
Actually Geissele started to roll that change out about a year ago. But did so very very slowly with what seemed like a randomized amount coming out of manufacturing with it and some without it.
Not a huge deal that you don’t have it. Other than a slight bit more strength added in the QD cup, that’s it. However, if you aren’t carrying the rifle with you everywhere on a sling and using it day to day in your occupation, the aluminum (older) version should be just fine.
@@GunBoxTherapy Thank you very much for the quick response! Would I be able to by those separate to get that added strength to the QD sections?
Unfortunately not. I asked Geissele the same thing because my URGI upper didn’t have the new steel insert either. The reply was that it wasn’t possible to attach one aftermarket because the hole that’s currently there is not machined large enough to accommodate one.
He also reassured me that the change wasn’t due to customer feedback or any issues they’ve had with the “old style” QD cups but this was more or less a quality of life for the consumer type of upgrade. He also said that there haven’t been any RMAs or customer service requests to fix the old style ones either due to wear/tear or manufacturing defects.
I see, with that being said I think I’ll be fine with the aluminum ones if no issues have been reported on them. Thank you very much for taking the time to respond, I’ll be sure to subscribe!
Where can we buy the build kit?
How much did this run?
Wonder if this will fit a pws ambi lower 🤔
It will
I just learned the 16 and 12.5 inch barrels do not have the same gas length and gas port size compared to the ones on super duy, anyone can inform me what these differences do?
Most of your 12.5” barrels will have a carbine length gas system and 16” barrels will usually either have a carbine length or rifle length.
The super duty uses Geissele’s proprietary length which is between carbine and rifle length.
I find their 16 inch barrel sold independently only has mid length gas system instead of geissele length on super duty. I recently want to buy a 16 inch to replace my 13.9 on super duty but I wonder if the geissele length only come with complete upper
Hey bud, the barrel sold by itself is mid length. Geissele length (1 inch longer than mid) is sold only in the SD upper. However you could contact geissele and ask for it by itself for sale and see if they will do it for you.
Urgi bolt.????
Yes it’s the same bcg that comes in the near clone urgi upper.
Man just build one..
shut up
