It really is a great gun. Nothing too fancy or sexy but comes with all the parts what many people will upgrade to on other rifles. And the price point, and build quality and fit and finish are just awesome.
On the rail of your Geissele...the QD you have on it doesn't come like that on their stock product. Where can I get a QD like the one you have on yours?
By “yours” do me mean the gun that’s in the review or my personal ones? On my personal guns I run a Magpul QD mount on mine. The Geissele has one made by them.
Hello, I am a sports shooter and I am French living in France. I just received my Geissele automatics super Duty in 14.5 inches. I am a little disappointed because the thickness of the lower is 1.5 millimeters thick, the thickness of an AK 47. Compare to other brands like Daniel defense or Aero precision, or colt it’s very, very thin. It’s a 2023 model. I saw in youtube other Geissele automatics that are thicker. Do you think that the fact that it is very thin can be a robustness problem? 1.5 millimeters is very, very thin. Do you think I made the right choice? Merci beaucoup. Best regards

I haven’t really heard anything except some people comment on RUclips third-hand. I’ve never had any issues with anything I have from them. This rifle comes with all the goodies that people buy aftermarket and are tried and true and the go-to’s. Why hating?

It's a 1:7" twist CHF chrome lined barrel/chamber. I love mine, but I went with the DDC finish.

Yeah it’s a pretty darn good rifle. I really can find any complaint. The finish does scratch but that’s eco Extex on anything by but Ceracoat
Geissele’s website says it’s 1/7 twist.

What was Gieselle thinking with the placement of the rear QD? Most all swivels get interfered with from the top rail.
Just replace the bolt catch with with FCD or Badger ordinance one the Geissele is known to break. Just a heads up

There was literally one batch of bad rails before they brought them in house lol.
