- In this episode I install a 034 Motorsport solid rear sway bar onto my 2011 A4 project car. I also pair that with the mighty Michelin Pilot Super Sports and replace my intermediate steering shaft to make one heck of a road course warrior!
Install at your own risk - This is not an install guide

I said this on fb the other day, I’d love to see content of you just driving and enjoying the car. Idk if others feel the same but I love how your car is close to “done”. Feels more engaging than the typical RUclipsr constant crazy mods. Just my two cents
@1:03 THANK YOU! For not always wanting to sell or constantly upgrade or do whatever to your car like all these other youtubers for the sake of content.
I’m getting a 2016 RS3. Your video popped up looking for info on that. Looks like it’s the way to go.
I just bought a 2011 Audi a4 . I’m so excited to start a build. Your my idol and I give thanks to God for all the videos and information you give into them on the work being done on the car. Thank you so much
What an absolute gem of a channel. Fun, informative and super professional looking. You´ve got the whole package man, proper car entertainment! You´ve earned urself a new sub! Audi gang
Thank you!
I finally just got an A4 B8 a few weeks ago, been watching this channel for a while now and it convinced me to buy this car and build it
8:36 I feel like this platform is just an endless series of "oh thats how its meant to drive" repairs. So many things that slowly wear down and degrade the driving experience, you replace it and are like "oh shit it drives amazing again I remember why I like this car" rinse and repeat. For me recently it was control arms, id gotten used to wrestling the car at any speed above 60kmh because it would wander and waft so much, replaced lower rear control arm (shot ball joint) (thanks for your video to help diagnose it) and now car tracks perfectly straight and drives amazing, remembered how good these things were at high speeds.
That is such an accurate take haha. Sometimes seems impossible to stay on top of the repairs, but always feels great when you do
Another awesome video man. Glad the handling and steering improved for you! I’ve been watching ever since the start of the B8 build and I eagerly await every upload. I’ve had my B8 A4 for over 5 years it’s my first car and I can’t wait to build it like yours. You’re the man! And the editing and filming is top notch. Keep it up, can’t wait to see more
OMG!! that rear diffuser, led lamp with the quad exhaust and duck tail, that is giving me some NFS Underground 2 vibes!!! I can hear Riders on the storm ft snoop dogg playing in my head!!
Now I just need some underglow!
@@FlinkFilms I’ve had some … wiring hell but it was fun for shoots 😊
I’d love a overview or review style video talking about the challenges and highs and lows and your favorite times/memories building the car. You could do this while sitting and talking to the camera or driving around! Maybe include clips too! That would be awesome
Love this! 🔥🔥
I have to agree that 034 rear sway bar makes a noticeable difference, even with a marginal change in thickness between a B8 S4 OE and aftermarket. It makes for more enjoyable spirited driving 👌
I have 034s rear sway bar and end links on my S3. I'm very happy with them. And ofc always go with the stiffer setting. Have to be hard all the time
Always hard! 😂
Do the end links make the noise louder
I have been watching you videos after building my 2.0. identical car s-line tho. Still running stock turbo. I built the engine, I beam tuscans, next step is boss600 and fuel system. I wish I would have watched first, probably would have been better prepared but engine has 2k miles on it and runs great. Your videos Definitely helping me out fersure. I'm a little nuts forsure but I picked the car up for a grand. Not too many people who actually push these hard so now I'm interested 😎
That’s awesome man! Glad to hear about more of these things being successfully built
Great content! Thanks, Flink! What are your wheel specs?
Keep modding bro!
Ooh, finally RUclips's recommending some A4 content. Is yours a Quattro or FWD?
Where did you get the steering shaft from?
I actually don’t wanna see more mods to the car at all, more like taking the car on road trips, going to the drag strip or the track, or car shows or just anything 🙂
Well that is very encouraging. I’ve got a couple things planned for this summer within that realm, so I hope other people have the same interest that you do
This is making me want to just leave my A4 B8 with you and be like work your magic and shoot me parts and labor invoice and if it gives you more A4 B8 content of an exhibit in not as nice of a shape as yours … all the better … provided you even want to bother with it any in the first place 😅
Just lemme know when 💪
What intermediate shaft did you use in this video?
I got it from Europa Parts. The manufacturer is “OE aftermarket” I guess. SKU 017327
@Flink Films Thank you! Love the videos. They have been a great source of information as I work on my B8. It was originally from Wisconsin so a lot of the issues you have shown with rust I have4 experienced too. Your videos have been a great help. Thanks again
Go and look for A5 B8. It has a lot shorter wheelbase = another level better in cornering.
Out of box B8 chassis is faster in almost every track than E90 chassis btw.
B6? Nah, i would go for B5.
