What do germans have against hexagons
Hey mate.
Which setting have you got yours set to? Soft or hard? (giggidy)
Serious question BTW
Proxide I currently have mine set on the softest setting, it’s still so much firmer than original. I’ve never had a reason to make it firmer. Was going to adjust it when at the ring but didn’t end up going last year
Really Interesting, Well done.
Why don't you change the front too?
would it be too hard?
Do I have an S4 b8 avant with standard damping, do I put the front and rear or just the rear
should have replaced the links too what a waste imo
How much does the ride quality suffer from these being installed, on softest setting? My s4 is my daily, occasionally driving on rough roads so I need to keep it somewhat compliant
Its perfectly fine for day to day use, it offers a massive performance increase in the way the car feels and handles with very little unwanted downsides
So on the hardest setting you say that it can produce oversteer, so what if you have the sports diff? As far as I understand it bounces power on rear axel to eliminate understeer, so could it not reduce the oversteer too?
Quite possibly, as it's not something I had when I owned the car I wouldn't be able to say for sure
Quick question. Would this install be the same on a 2016 rs5, it looks so to be honest but I’m not sure
Its a later platform and the rs5 could well have Drc suspension so lay out might differ
hi, do you have to do wheel alignment after swapping ?
I had my wheel alignment set up but I have changed the springs at the same time. The arb doesn’t alter the cars geo so shouldn’t be needed
Will this fit an 07 a4?
Is it a b7 or b8?
@@TheParrottBros no its an a4,
Rob Rob I saw that mate. But is it a b7 or b8 shape?
@@TheParrottBros i dont know. Its 1984cc, fwd sedan
Rob Rob is it the same shape as mine? Google audi b7 a4 or audi b8 a4 and compare to yours.
If you have a b8 then yea it will fit.
Hey will I see a difference on cornering with the sway bar? I got a B8.5 audi s4 just wondering also is it easy to install?
Apart from dropping exhaust it’s not too bad a job, handling wise it makes a huge improvement and really tightens up the backend it’s something stupid like five times stronger than the original rollbar but it will also take some away from the front as anything if you’re making it stronger at one end, it then changes and alters the handling of the car but I love it
@@TheParrottBros Stupid not to do this upgrade then. Ordering it tomorrow. Hey also I ordered accidentally extra carbon fiber shifting paddles I feel like it would go nice on your car you want em? You can have em I have xtra shit lying around. I got red ones and these are regular carbon ones. Thanks for showinge this sway bar and helping me improve my car 👌
@@jeremielibraty7 yeah for sure you will like it when fitted, i have some brushed aluminium paddles and are pretty well stuck on so not sure if i could get them off haha, plus if they are for the 8.5 they fit differently too. thanks for the offer appreciate it :)
What is the purpose of replacing it
Less body roll
Really Interesting, Well done.
Fighting Arts of England thanks appreciate the kind words. Tell you what it doesn’t half transform the ride!
@@TheParrottBros Ill bet it does, whats coming up next
Fighting Arts of England up next is a single to 4 pot Porsche brake conversion 👍🏻

@theparrotbro's Good video. I have a B8.5 RS4 with non DRC suspension is this a worthwhile upgrade? How does it affect the ride in the rear of the car? (Have a 2 year old who get a bit car sick)
Graham Brien thanks graham, I’m very happy with the enhancement it’s made to the rear end, it just tightens the roll when cornering and doesn’t change the general driving of the car day to day negativity. I’m very happy with this.
@@TheParrottBros Thanks, I am not looking for major changes just to sharpen things up a little. Adding a CR15 Strut Brace, 034 Allloy lower brace, engine and drive train mounts so this should give me a bit sharper car. Where are you based?
Graham Brien that would certainly sharpen it up, based just north of London, have a insta for the car @audi_b8_s4 I’m going to be fitting the baf motorsport equivalent of the cr15 and will post a video for that also
@@TheParrottBros just sent you a PM on Insta
@@grahambrien6106 can u share what kind of engine and drive train mounts you installed? I also have B8.5 RS4 with non DRC suspension, exactly the same as you, and i just swapped out OEM coilovers with Bilstein PSS10/B16, resulting in a much better ride quality. Now looking for similar mods as you to sharpen up daily drive without affecting comfort too much, next up is an H&R 33092-1 front and rear AntiRoll bar to sharpen handling. i got IG too, username is @youdame, DM me if you dont mind sharing more info.
