What rotors are compatible with these calipers, can I get upgraded calipers intended for my s4 ? or do I. Need to order macan rotors ... Thanks
I did the same swap...I’m having trouble getting the same pedal pressure I had before the swap. What gives? Is a bigger master Cylinder needed?
No, the Master Cylinder is the same size. Adaptation? Air?
What is model year Q5 these calipers came off of? 2013-2017?
I have Brembo ZR18 from Q7, 6 pot calipers...
Will they fit to A4 B8 3.0 TDI Quattro?
A4 have 320mm stock disc, but option disc in shop is 345x29 5X112.
Damn, I was hoping you would have given feedback on the new brake calipers?? And how it compares to the stock calipers
KillerZero259 I want to drive on the bbk for a month before I give a review. Recent days I’ve had brake squeal on cold mornings. I’m testing different brake pads here shortly. Then I can give an in-depth review 😁
@@boostdynamictuning Ahh, okay, excellent! Definitely waiting for your feedback 😃😃
what wheel size do you have? will these calipers fit with 345mm discs in a 19inch wheel?
Yes they should. ECS tuning sells the whole kit which includes 345mm rotors
Nice Video. Can i put this caliper on my Audi A4 B6, anyone know this ? I can put 340x30mm discs on it, thats what i really know . Thx Guys
I personally wouldn't recommend it, but you can always try!
Turn the wheel when you do brakes. Makes it easier.
Yes, if you don't have a lift and are using jack stands, it is easier to turn the wheel
The brake rotor set screw on my front brakes was sheared off before I got it 🤬
Magan S six pot brembos are also a good option...
Hy Du U have part ne of rotor? Tx
So how do you change the pads after you've hammered the pin in?
I lightly tapped them in, but the video and the tool doesn’t give it justice 😭💪 If they’re stuck I have a small bit from Snap On that fits the hole size. A little tap and it will come right out.
@@boostdynamictuning thanks for the quick response. Taking notes lol
Isn't there a break wear sensor? What did you do for that? Plug-and-play or did you have do any custom fittings? Any check engine light?
Mark Inopea their is a break wear sensor. You can install a new one or short the wires together.
Hi there , I’m wondering if you could advise ?
I bought Q5 callipers 4 piston for my b8 S4 and they don’t fit , is there any other options ?
They are 345mm and specifically 2013-2017
there are 2 options: 320mm and 345mm.. I'm guessing you got the 320mm if it doesn't fit..
What did you put on the brake pads and bolts that hold the pads to the caliper?
what code are the brake pads , thanks
Where did you get them brembo callipers for that price from? Have you got the link?
Straight from the dealership
What are the brakes called
Link?
What kind of bumper do you have on the front?
I believe the rs4 front bumper, I recall it shipping Germany. I couldn't be wrong though. It's been a couple years now.
u have already tested this Tarox Japan, Brakes?? good =?
I have not
no ? why xD
Thumbs up before watching
Hello, is it possible to put Macan calipers in the back as well?
As far as i know they are same for s5/s4, at least for the brake discs. I did that for my a5 since it upgrades to 330mm with ventilated discs from 300mm single piece
Will thay fit a 2015 s4 if so you got caliper part numbers . Nice job
Omar Irizarry yes they do, pm my on Facebook. I have the part numbers in a picture.
Driver side Macan part number: 95B-615-123-F
Passenger side Macan caliper: 95B-615-124-F
Do you still need to pump the brake pedal if you’re using a extractor to pull the fluid?
jameschho you should really buy a break bleeder tool from ecs. Makes the job 20x easier.
No you don't pump the brake pedal when using an extractor. Biggest rookie mistakes on caliper/brake line replacement are 1) Opening up master cylinder cap while removing the brake line. 2) Letting the master cylinder run dry while bleeding. When you get air trapped in the ABS system, it can be extremely difficult to get it out no matter how many times you try to bleed it. Found this out the hard way when I was younger with my BMW, required a trip to the dealer to have the diagnostic machine "tickle" the ABS system to bleed it properly. If you have a Vagcom/VCDS, I believe you can do this yourself if necessary. Do one side at a time to avoid having the master Cylinder run dry. If you get air trapped in the system watch this video ruclips.net/video/JhlDjzAdKBo/видео.html
hello. how does it feel compare to the stock brake?
Honestly the "feel" isn't going to be too different than stock. When you do this conversion, it's best to get steel braided brake lines to go with it (front and rear) if you want to be able to feel a difference in the brake peddle.
Do you have the part number for the brake pads?
I don't have it off the top of my head, but you can call and ask for the Audi sq5 brakes, and They should be able to get you taken care of.
hello. how does it feel compare to the stock brake?
Great upgrade and it does fine on the streets for three hard brakes. Personally I would go to the 6 piston brakes if I were to do it again. I have 6 piston brakes on my b9 S5. When I track the B9 it never boils the brake fluid and I can stop ridiculously hard every time.
do you encounter any soft pedal on this brake? thank you in advance!
@@boostdynamictuningwhat the name of the 6 piston calipers? From what car?
You have a part number?
Hello from Romania! 💪
So no bleeding brakes?
Of course lol
Did you have to reuse brake pad sensor or did it come with it
Junior Hollis admire wire was already cut so I kept the wires together. I inspect my car before I go out for a tune usually.
@@boostdynamictuning does the wire need to be cut ? And if so does that not throw a code ?
@@Jewnbug1 It will not throw a code if you splice the wires together if you use a pad that doesn't use a sensor
Parts list please ??!????!!!!!
Driver side Macan part number: 95B-615-123-F
Passenger side Macan caliper: 95B-615-124-F
Any pads for a 2015-2019 Macan or 2012-2017 3.0T Audi Q5 will do
What wheels do you have?
Alex Lozano some aftermarket rs5 rims I believe.
Hello
What size wheels fit over the big brake conversion ? Especially the offset (et) size .
Thanks
I don't know the specific offset numbers, but to be safe anything over 19 should fit. You could get away with 18's, but they would required a very specific offset.
I have Tsw Bathurst 19x9.5 et 39 and the wheels did not clear the caliper. I had to order spacers unfortunately.
Hi. I tried to call the parts department where you bought the macan calipers. They asked for a VIN number and I don’t own a Porsche but I have an Audi with B8 platform
Look for a used Macan on cars.com that has a carfax...give them that VIN problem solved :)
At least What year Porsche Macan ?
@@marvm2614 95B-615-123-F & 95B-615-124-F are the Porsche PN's (2015-2020). I have all the parts in the garage hope to tackle it this weekend or next. If you need a VIN use this WP1AA2A55LLB13841
